  • Finishing up the archery season and starting the rifle season off in this episode, I hunt a couple of local public land spots here in Central FL. Some cool sights throughout both, and I get a chance to pull the trigger on opening day of rifle!
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the advice. I kinda like the small guys, ‘squeakers’ I call them.

Nice job on hunt and video. What kind of mount/arm are you using for camera? I don't really do a lot of hunting videos but drew the sambar hunt this year.

Thank you! I use the Muddy Hunt Hard camera arm. It works pretty well, but is very heavy and bulky. It seems to be pretty good for the sub $100 range, but just wish it was lighter. Good luck on the sambars!

Nice video. Was that a quota hunt or a walk on WMA? Nice watch BTW, what is it?

Thank you! That was a quota hunt I had. The watch is a Filson, although I put a different band on it (old one wore out).

Something to be proud of...a lame shot (obviously, if she made it more than 1 yard from where you shot her) and two, leaving those piglets to survive on their own. Anything for a view...that a boy.

Thanks for the view! If you are interested in learning about the survival rates of feral piglets that have been orphaned, there are several good videos on UA-cam covering that topic. I'm also always open to discussing proper shot placement as well, if you believe there is a better aiming point than the heart/lungs.

@@alexnicely8059 I want to apologize for my off handed comments the other day. You didn't deserve them. I was raised to keep my mouth shut if I had nothing good to say, and I failed to heed that wisdom. Nothing you did was wrong...everything I said was. I wasn't being supportive of a fellow hunter and I was being a lousy Christian. You have my sincerest apologies; I'm sorry. I hope you have a great rest of the year and continued success in the woods. Sincerely, Adam
