I got one Million by a random player because i mentioned in all chat that today was my birthday. Very generous person. That was my first million ever in Star Citizen
I was standing around by the ship claim terminals when a dude in red armor came up to me and we just knelt at each other and toggled flashlight for a minute or two. Chatted for a min and he dropped me 1.5m. Passed some along to another. Community is wild.
yea i just happen to came across some very generous dude that drop like almost 50 mill to random stranger in the global chat, i myself also included in the generous offering got a mill from him. after that i got my 1st gladius thanks to him an upgrade from my mustang alpha, and the rest of the story is the legendary begging.
Yeah begging in chat is most likely the fastest way to get your first million. Occasionally there are just some people who really like mining and are lucky with spawns so they have more money than they know what to do with so they just start handing out cash. Last night there was a guy just making it rain. All I said was I’m 1.2M short of getting a Tally and the Quant Fish ain’t biting, I got a pop up for 2M received a few min later. He did mention later in chat he was taking souls so yeah …
I once got 4 million payment for a simple taxi from A18 to Everus harbor. Checked with the player and they confirmed they did not make a typo. Definitely keep an eye on chat and beacons, if nothing else, going out of your way to help players makes the verse a better place and breaks up the monotony of the grind.
asking for help in chat is always worth it in this game the community is really something special i once did a bunker mission and the turrets destroyed my ship the dude doing the mission before me saw that and waited until i finished my mission, just to give me a lift to the next station if thats not a gem in an online game, i dont know what is
literally! you can join any server and find the nicest people who are just happy to be there & run missions with you or show of their flashy ship. I love the community behind this game and they are honestly what carries it.
Yeah! The cool thing in this game is that the most of the community is very nice and helpful to noobies like me although I've seen some that are very toxic and annoying sometimes :/
There are some suggestion coming in about different ways to earn and I'll list a few and explain why I chose not to include them in a new player guide: - Renting a ROC and Cutlass Black: Ship rental/ROC rental can be daunting to a new player and require considerable setup time compared to basic missions. Also The earn rate is not consistent and can require a lot of learning to become proficient. Certainly worth persuing if it intersts you but not something I would suggest to a new player. - Illegal Survellance Missions: These used to be easier and more recommendable IMO. But compared to the earn rate and ease of other missions I think these ones can be quite challenging for newer players. There is a more aggresive timer now, it requires smart pinging and fast flying, mainting your cool under fire and avoiding accidentally targeting the police which often show up. I'm not saying new players can't learn all the skills needed to run these effectively but time spent, I think you would be much better off doing bounty missions which are much simpler, and end up paying out more for the time spent within a short period of time. - Running ERT Bounties with Torps: Again this guide is intended for new players with beginner ships. So a size 9 torp ship costs 3mil+ and you need a maxed out bounty tree. Its kind of late/end game earn rate.
As someone who frequently runs ERT in a Retaliator, it’s not something a new player can jump into, as you need max bounty rep with Crusader or Hurston. Not sure how long it would take you in this patch to grind up from beginner to ERT, but if you are in a starter it is possible to take out a Hammerhead, in about 20 min of intense dogfighting..
I feel like the bunkers are fairly balanced money-wise because they are the riskiest missions in the game right now. a 10,000 UEC bunker mission turned into a 3 hour session of me hacking comm towers and evading NPC ships trying to hack my crime stat I got from a bug.
@@jmbartelt go to any orbital satelite and let the turrets kill you, or a bunker without a mission, you'll get tresspassing get shot at and crimestat and end up reviving in a jail. This does require death though. So if you wan't you could empty your inventory and all and do it like that.
@@jmbartelt The easiest way is just dying, if you have loot stash it at Grim HEX, other way although not working correctly, if you approach a space station and they start firing at you, if you turn off the engines they’re supposed to stop attacking and arrest you, now, I’ve seen this not working, so kill yourself is probably the best option haha. Then is pretty ez to get out of Jail, either you farm up your merits, which isn’t hard at all, you wait (You can log out) or you just escape, which following a guide isn’t hard either. PD: Escaping prision without following guides can be really challenging and fun, I recommend to try and do it without a guide and if you get tired just follow the guide but CIG puzzles are actually good.
Nice guide. Something I want to add - "Halt Illegal Surveillance" Missions, from the Mercenary tab can net you 20,000 aUEC base payout and can even be done in ships that have guns, but aren't meant for combat, like in the Anvil Pisces. In other words, you should have no problems doing them in an Aurora or Mustang. And as always, if you stick around to fight the NPCs and have Call to Arms, there's a bonus payout of at least 1,000 - 1,500 aUEC
The problem with "Illegal Surveillance" missions is that they're bugged out in at least three of the planetary systems. Might be all four. CIG knows and is pushing a patch to fix them Soon(tm). The issue is that you fail the mission because it thinks you haven't actually gone to the beacon. You'll get the acknowledgement from the game that you went to the beacon, you'll complete the mission and kill the baddies if you want, then suddenly the beacon will start firing on you. This is because the game has erroneously decided you're not supposed to be there. Once you QT away from the site, you'll fail the mission.
i made about a millions pretty quick doing those missions, at microtech they have like 4 or 5 that pop up at the same time and i just accept them all and do them for 20 k each and shortly after im done they pop up again
Clarity on the bunkers and reputation: while the Rep 5 bunkers do net you a fat payout of 115K including Call To Arms, getting yourself ranked up to tier 5 takes a *LONG* time. Honestly, you may already have your first million before you make it to tier 5.
Don't forget being able to rent a Cutty black and ROC mining vehicle at any refinery station for about 40k total and you can make around 100k an hour mining had/dolo/aphro. I usually go to Daymar or Aberdeen.
Arial has been a good spot this patch with a lot of large hadenite clusters. Daymar seems to be less good this patch with hadenite clusters seeming to max out at about 5 or so. Honestly if you stick to only mining hadenite and ignore the others you should be able to rake in 200-300k per hour with a little practice
@@dwigtschrude nice I haven't touched it this patch due to using the bug for millions that popped up on the first few days. I know you can make some good money with it for cheap though and it is a very lucrative way for new players to get their second ship.
@@lostnwalmart9110 yeah it’s been pretty great this patch since they fixed the bug with the physics when picking up diamonds. Sadly I didn’t get the millions because I didn’t play much of 17.1 due to the elevator glitch on the mole
I've found Roc mining to be a little underwhelming, but ship mining with the prospector is great. I guess roc mining is more accessible though. Maybe I was just on a bad planet for it.
@@Kitkat-986 that is completely fair and I agree for the most part, but to make the 2 million needed for a prospector, roc mining is a great accessible entry point. The rented prospector just doesn’t have a proper mining head to mine the high value items in mass.
When you get the chance check out options>keybinds and the advanced keybind options in the bottom left corner. some VERY useful stuff there, like "call ATC" or "look back" and "open/close doors" etc.
@@temushin rule of thumb is: bugger the ship (signature),the more countermeasures are needed. Panic launch in C2 Hercules pops like 20 of them in sequence
They seem to be most stable when it's a fresh server. Right before a refresh and the server's at it's most cluttered, they're pretty buggy. Gotta love it when the Crusader security mercs, activate on you and start spraying you down because the zone turns restricted 2mins into looting up the boxes 😵
I bough a Buccaneer, love the thing. with it I do bounties and bunkers (Only the guarding types as the turrets will be friendly). and I go mixing the two doing bunkers and then bounties until new bunker missions are available
If you're looking for a super versatile ship that will let you explore other gameplay loops while retaining good combat capabilities (including a huge missile payload), I'd highly recommend a Cutlass Black be your next ship. It also has a turret so you can bring a friend along. The Cutlass can do cargo hauling, it can fit a small ground vehicle to aid in rapid ground transport (good for hostile bunkers with turrets where you have to land far away) and it can even fit a Roc mining vehicle in it if you want to make money that way. It can also breeze through VHRT missions with ease.
@@shawnc5188 I figured out that about 30 min of handanite mining was just about 35K. While alle the Dolovine from boxes and armor got me around 100K real quick.
Many of us propably don't think about it that much, but Bounty Hunting and Bunker missions can be pretty challenging for new players. I avoid Bounty Hunting completely if I'm being honest. Although you can earn quite a lot of cash in the higher Bounty ranks, you have to grind your way up there. And don't forget that you have to repair and restock your ship as well. You also have to have a ship that is capable of handling the HRTs and beyond. As I only start out with an Aurora MR, BH is not an option - it's also not fun for me. What works for me every time though are courier missions. Especially in the beginning, there's more or less no risk involved. You can level up your courier level really fast because there aren't as many ranks as with Bounty Hunting or Security Ops. The higher ranks will grant you access to well-paying retrieval missions. Bring a pistol and you're good to go. I usually do this until I'm around 100-150 k aUEC. I also watch out for the missions where you have to board an Aegis Reclaimer to obtain data or destroy the ship. Profit is around 50-60 k per mission. After that, I rent a Prospector and run my Mining routes, stacking up as many work orders at the Refineries as I can until the rental stops. With a rented Prospector, you can easily do at least 50- 120 k per mining run on average if you don't include Quantanium, that'll obviously be more valuable. Rent yourself a Cutty or a Freelancer to haul the refined goodies to the nearest TDD every once in a while. Following this strategy, I rinse and repeat until I reach the asking price of my desired ship + technical upgrades + 200-500 k spare money, all of this within a couple days. Still a bit sad to see that SC doesn't offer new players at least a bit of support on how to start earning money in the Verse while staying profitable with it. I guess the abscense of some type of tutorial or explanation on how things work is the main reason why some new players quit after a short time, they just don't know what to do.
Agreed. I'm a new player and I almost quit. I love bounty hunting, but am getting completely wrecked in the starter Aurora MR ship and I have no money to outfit weapons and shields. Thank God for UA-cam videos as I would be otherwise completely lost. Even something as simple as starting delivery missions left me confused. They weren't showing up in my contract manager as I wasn't in the right station/planet for it.
A mission no one ever talks about is "Remove Claimjumpers". Sure the mission payout isn't great, but lots of enemies spawn in flying Prospectors which makes for good "A Call to Arms" payout. Plus it can get you a lot of ship combat experience. Are we here to make a living or play a entertaining game. If you make your games just about the grind they will be no different than real life.
I always get 22500 aUEC + call to arms bonus for that. Its fast way to make money with larger ships like andromeda. There are always players that give me ship if i ask nicely, or fly with me in turret. :D I love this comunity. In day we can make little bit more than 100000 aUEC per day.
Since the wipe I've just done bunker missions and now get the 90k (plus call to arms bonus) missions. I lost count how many missions I've completed but it's a lot but at 100k every 15 to 20 minutes its not bad. I don't bother collecting loot unless it's to restock on ammo.
The bunker missions (Tier 1) for me have been unplayably bugged. I lost 3 bars of rep to 6 broken missions out of 7 I ran: two duplicated elevators, three iterations of 2 non-existent enemies left, and a bunker that had someone else's ship there and 10 enemies listed, but no enemies to be found, and the guards were in casual mode (implying the contract system allowed me to pickup a mission someone else was already doing and completed before I got in-range). Which is a shame, because it's my favorite gameplay loop so far, but I can't get out of Tier 1... The 890j missions have been great so far, no issues there as of yet, thankfully!
You could also try doing the bunker missions for another planets. I did a bunch of missions for BlacJac until they started bugging out and I lost most of my rep. After that I set Microtech as my home base and did missions for them. So far no problems.
9:04 WAIT WHEN DID I TEAM UP WITH LEVELCAP? When was the footage gathered haha, I am so confused! Never know who you'll meet in the verse. Must have been a nice guy cause I've only ever run bunkers with some super cool folks I happened to meet!
Great news for delivery missions. They seem to be working way more reliably in 3.18. I’ve been able to make quite a bit with them. Especially with the 45k ones.
I got 3.7 million for dropping off a guy in a cutlass and talking about how i wanted to go mining with 2 roc cars so incase the other one breaks i can use the other one on the spot and dude gave me money to buy a corsair or a constelation. I am thankful to that person and the community because he or she is not the only person to help me go forward in this game.
I use my Andromeda in combat missions and space in the Hurston system to work up reputation. Once I can afford to fully upgrade the Andromeda, the space missions pretty much end up being cake. I have yet to take on the hammerhead mission since 3.16, that's the last time I played before the graphics engine upgrade that rendered my laptop unable to launch SC. Now I recently had my desktop upgraded with a Radeon RX 6600 and getting back into SC tomorrow afternoon. I am very excited.
Running bunkers and looting the guns and armour from them to your ship can earn you an extra 10-15k depends if you find good guns, good side hustle and worth the extra minutes if you’re already bunkering. That plus the higher tier bunkers and the call to arms you could be earning 100k per bunker. I got max tier missions pre-wipe and grinder them out at Crusader. 10 bunkers can easily be accomplished within one or two days so basically 1 million per day.
@LevelCapGaming Hey, you used the same background track as we heard in inside star citizen when they showed us the new holo Interfaces. Where is that from? Thanks in advance
they are good, expecially in Daymar and on Hurston Sytem, cuz you will find a lot of Hadanite, make sure to bring a heavy armor so you can use the biggest backpacks (Novikov or Pembroke) if you fill up a backpack, it will get ya more money than the mission itself.
If you're utterly lost, my advice is to finish the bounty, get the payout, grab the loot (and maybe mine a couple of rocks) then log out. When you log back in, you'll spawn back at the last station you visited.
Thanks for the informative and helpful video level, I'll ave to start doing some mercenary missions they look fun. Are there any cool apps or tools that can be used alongside Star Citizen? p.s. A nice little time saver I found out about in Star Citizen game chat recently is that on the planet microTech there's a surface entrance to The Commons (the main shop on microTech) that you can land your ship next to and walk right in, such a huge time saver compared to landing/storing your ship at the spaceport and taking the transit line to The Commons and back 👍
Delivery rep up Lvl.2 get 45k and loot up sell 8-10k more. Rent / Buy ROC cheap [need Nomad, Cutty to haul] and earn / mine creds for Prospector. MT system new derelicts, outposts big loot, gems, missions. Yes space combat bounty is great grind creds BUT U choose another path.
Great video. One thing to note is that shield faces don’t recharge independently. As long as you hit the ship (hull or any shield face) it resets the entire shield recharge timer.
@@Asgar1205 The shield faces used to be independent, but then the game got updated with "Bubble" shields. I am assuming that we still see the faces because they did not update the interface.
@@Asgar1205 It allows you to rotate the ship so the other faces can continue to take hits. Also being able to divert power from other faces to streagthan another is really useful.
I don’t know how you do box missions. 8/10 times a bug occurs making the delivery not do’able. Boxes becoming unregistered to private landing pads that don’t show up.
Well, for the past week the only consistent way to make money has been ship bounties. I'm at 7/10 bunkers bugging with enemies not spawning and destroying drugs and contraband not finishing the objective. Service beacons have been very hard to get and more often than not I simply don't get any to show. And half the time you don't get any targeting on the enemies. Also a few times you can't even see the ship you have to protect. As for mining... Back in 3.17.1 I had a few unscannable rocks. Ever since 3.17.2 the vast majority has been unscannable. And recently I've been having a lot of unscannable rocks when ROC mining also. Oh, and with all those 30ks flying around I really don't feel comfortable doing stuff that takes a lot of time in one sitting. On the bright side, group VHRTs and HRTs are reasonably fast with only an Arrow, which you can get for just under a million. Illegal monitors near MT is also a very easy, steady and reliable way to make some cash with a starter ship, which should do fine to get a first light fighter in a timely manner.
Another perk for cave missions: Once the mission is complete and the backpack is full, just log out/in back to home station and go straight to the Admin office to sell the ore. A cheap ship like the Nomad is perfect because the 40-second reclaim time makes it FAR more practical to log out/in & reclaim than to navigate the cave back to the ship and fly home.
Please note that their is a specific gaming rig set up for this OG. So his gameplay with not be the same as people who are playing with a mouse + keyboard.
I always thought it would be fun to run a uber type business in this game, shuttling around people.. 'course I guess you would need a initial investment to get a decent ship and insurance just in case! :D
I have a feeling that will become a thing once Pyro and other systems are added. Most the starter ships I don't think will have enough fuel to make those jumps.
It took 5 hours a day and 4 weeks of grinding to get max rep on bunkers. That being said it was worth it for me. Recently I just got max bunker rep in all systems. Mind you that is all I did to get max rep is bunkers. Didn't do any other missions.
My experience is the Valkyrie is much harder than the hurricane in the Mustang. It’s not hard to 1-2 pass a hurricane in the Mustang, meaning you can just zip in, kill, zip out. Valk’s are so tanky they end up taking longer and giving time for the adds to pile onto you. 1 S2 Distortion Repeater + 1 S2 Laser Repeater and 2 S1 Laser Repeaters = super quick hurricane kills.
Valks, as well as hurricanes fall fast to a titan outfitted with a size 4 fixed distortion dist scatters, and 2 size 3 fixed dom scatters. Gotta be able to stay close on their belly or their roof tho. But, titans can manage it. Preferred setup would be the bucc or the hornet to pull it off, but on a budget starter, blunderbus setup seems to wreck shop well enough.
@@thelitchfieldexperiment6269 I’m not good enough to consistently stay quite that close yet. Working on it. Just upgraded to a vanguard and swapped to fixed.
Valks aren't super dangerous, they're just tanky. If you stay evasive, you should be able to avoid most of their gunfire and whittle them down with continuous damage. Granted, I use a slightly better armed fighter than the starters in the form of the Reliant Tana, but the same strategy should still work. Using a heavy ballistic loadout can also really help by greatly improving your DPS, but you need to be good at ammo management and be careful to not miss too often.
As of today 90% of bunker missions are bugged. Also they added a lot of turrets that may or may not activate and there are no more blind spots, so even if the bunker is not bugged the only reliable way to fly away is to park the ship 1km away. And lastly cave missions only spawn Dolvine as a loot, wich can be still a 50-60k worth, but no more Hadenite in 3.17.2
Bunkers are pretty buggy, but they can still be a fun way to make money if you're willing to put up with some frustration. Dolvine is perfectly good loot, it doubles the payout of the mission. Also, if you bring a mining tool and happen across some Hardinite, you can make off like a bandit with an extra 100k in crystals.
In space you don't insta-die when you get shot a few times.... FPS combat in SC is so damn buggy and laggy that you'll get instakilled more then once from an AI that either spawned behind you or didn't stand where he was animated.. hence you were shooting air.
At what resolution? Nearly any CPU+GPU from 2019 or later, with the game on an SSD, and at least 32GB of Ram can run the game at a rock solid 30, maybe even 60, fps in 1080. Going up to 1440p or 4k is a challenge. You basically must have a 5800x3D (by far the best cpu for star citizen), and at least a 6800/3070TI. You must have 32GB of Ram and run the game on an SSD. These are base requirements no matter your cpu/gpu
You didnt mention the S9 torp ships, it requires you to drop 3-4mil. retaliator and eclipse that can 1 shot hammerheads. Only cost about 3.8k per torp so you make a lot more than you lose and instakill them
right. this is intended as a making your first mil with a starter ship. So S9 torps are kind of out of reach until you have several mil in the bank already.
Max of 8 cave missions and you are at 1 mil. So easy in SC verse today to get that mil. Do some ship combat bounties, and mix in caves and you should be at a mil in 1 or 2 play sessions. That is why buying ships worth less than a vanguard sentinel in game is a waste of real money. Just get in game and you will have one in a couple days.
I make 90k per bunker mission at level 4. Takes 10 minutes to clear out the bunker enemies. Rinse repeat. About 360k an hour depending how much bunker missions u get to pop how fast. 360k conservative and 500k or more is possible. So after a couple days that's a couple million. Enough to buy nice combat ship like ares or a heavy fighter...or freelancer or something.
Man, literally just make 38k, go rent a Cutlass Black and a ROC and just head to Aberdeen, at LEAST 100k an hour, I never made less than 150k with this and you can just have it always ready to log and mine.
I HATE bounty hunting and the bunker missions.. I spent the $150 for the prospector and start mining right away.. love just doing my own thing with nobody bothering me.
I feel like I can't do anything with a starter ship. Try to just do basic deliveries and I get blown up by pirates or griefers. Shit sucks I can't even manage to get an 11k mission done.
I was thinking same thing. I watched all his airsoft and other games videos then nothing till I heard another YTer say "levelcap" I was like ohhhhh daaammmnn
Lmao! Bunkers! Soooo easy right? The A.I is still on drugs and pushing me out of the way so they can walk past me to find me, lol. Easy kills, easy money! Great vid thanks!
The first thing I think about when the subject sci fi comes up, wether in video games or sci fi movies is capitalism and how is that character going to make some money. Why does it seem that todays video games revolve around money earning missions? interesting. Kill bandits to earn money. Mine to earn money. Salvage to earn money. etc, etc……
unfortunate for me respond player beacon are the most frustrating thing i atempt to do in this game 90% are traps, a real pity cuz i like to help but here is almost a suicide mission, so for now i simply startying to ingnore them.
if your a new player you can loot small out for about 20k an hour once you get good at it, but wont have to get good at because once you have got up about 35k your going to rent ROC and Cutty which will average you about 100k an hour, the combat of star citizen using an aiming matrix called ESP curves calibration and its awful and makes combat unplayable by my standards if you use a controller, all combat is so glitched its ridiculous
If you just want aUEC bunkers are still the way to go. Once skilled, you can clear a bunker in 10-15 min, for 60, 75, and 90K payouts. Substantially more per hour and you don't lose everything if a bug makes you loose your ore.
@@MattA-fi5qe i just despise FPS game play of SC do to the ESP curve aiming matrix, and understand how a key board and mouse player would like the way the game aims but but for my self that prefer game controllers for FPS its just completely broken, but once youve have learned ROC mining work arounds(macro inventory commands) to protect the gems youve mined its the least glitched game play SC has, but ROC mining isnt a smaller version of Prospector mining two completely different types of game play, and ROC mining doesnt need to be leveled up at all and when i say 100 k and hour thats very conservative and am using the time it takes to log in to the game and out of the game and everything in between , no chance of a crime stat and highly unlikely you will get killed and loose equipment,
@@MattA-fi5qe as far as ways to make money after my character is leveled up i perfer cargo, 2 cargo runs from Wala to A 18 will make 300k if you include loading the game messing with some armor, and other basic jacking around that 300k and hour , if consider it per run thats 150k in 15 minutes but im sure ive had cargo hours that pulled near 600k quite often but thats not the average
@@MattA-fi5qe as far skills go ive done bunker mission and the simplest way to do is just run up and beat the NPC's up rather than shoot them( at least its works better for me), FPS play in SC really takes very little skill , its not like playing against other players in Call of Duty , the games desync will keep you from getting shot you have to keep moving so the game targets the place you were a few seconds before, not sure if thats a skill or an exploit though
@@MattA-fi5qe thanks for chiming in , this remind me ive never used a knife in SC and may try doing that just to see how that goes , im betting that might be quicker than beating them up
The amount of grinding that u have to do to earn some good cash is just unfair. After spending so much time earning reputation and cash, they delete everything...the worst part is that in a 6 hour session you spend 5 hours dealing with bugs and glitches and like 20 minutes of actually playing.
I don't mean to be rude, but you'll get other the bugs, eventually. There's no way of avoiding them 100% of the time as of now, but you learn to live with them. Wipes are actually a solid way to keep the players coming back into the game because there's a reset challenge to grind it all up again. If you happen to always run into 30k errors, open your ingame console and type 'r_displayinfo 1', that'll grant you some data on server performance. If BwIn drops to 0 mbit/s and stays there, a 30k is imminent. Also if you want someone to play with, don't be scared to ask in Global Chat. Most people are willing to help more you think :)
The bunker missions are the fastest, because the AI is dogpiss and nowhere near difficult to defeat. When the AI for some reason actually works, it can get hairy and you have to slow down your approach.

That was my first million ever in Star Citizen

Yeah begging in chat is most likely the fastest way to get your first million. Occasionally there are just some people who really like mining and are lucky with spawns so they have more money than they know what to do with so they just start handing out cash. Last night there was a guy just making it rain. All I said was I’m 1.2M short of getting a Tally and the Quant Fish ain’t biting, I got a pop up for 2M received a few min later. There are some suggestion coming in about different ways to earn and I'll list a few and explain why I chose not to include them in a new player guide:
- Renting a ROC and Cutlass Black: Ship rental/ROC rental can be daunting to a new player and require considerable setup time compared to basic missions.
The bunker AI is really good when in a low sever pop. Got into a EU sever with 4 people on. AI is way tougher.
@@ScarredCitizen I've been on brand new servers. The AI isn't "way tougher" if you have pretty basic FPS skills.
@@JasonVanPatten yeah that's true, but on a low pop server they don't just stand there waiting to be a bullet sponge.
@@JasonVanPatten They're still much better on good servers. Especially when your game is laggy and the server isn't they sometimes just aimbot you
I feel like the bunkers are fairly balanced money-wise because they are the riskiest missions in the game right now. a 10,000 UEC bunker mission turned into a 3 hour session of me hacking comm towers and evading NPC ships trying to hack my crime stat I got from a bug.
You could have spent 20 minutes in jail....
@@temushin how can you go to jail on purpose to remove crime stat? thanks
@@jmbartelt go to any orbital satelite and let the turrets kill you, or a bunker without a mission, you'll get tresspassing get shot at and crimestat and end up reviving in a jail. This does require death though. So if you wan't you could empty your inventory and all and do it like that.
@@jmbartelt you can just let the AI shoot you inside the bunker and you'll spawn in prison.
Honestly, you may already have your first million before you make it to tier 5.
i'm at 250k credits and only rank 2, so yeah. Gonna be 1mil wayy before rank 5
@@TheMaaxZ i hit halfway through rank 3 and am at 1.8 million credits, once you hit rank 3 it slows down a loooot

@@Dung30n Biggest ship I fly is an MSR, so that makes sense.
The bunker missions are completely bugged as well. Fun.
yeah thus why i stopped doing them. huge waste of time mostly
They seem to be most stable when it's a fresh server. Right before a refresh and the server's at it's most cluttered, they're pretty buggy. Gotta love it when the Crusader security mercs, activate on you and start spraying you down because the zone turns restricted 2mins into looting up the boxes 😵
Isn’t every mission bugged?
It can also breeze through VHRT missions with ease.
don't think that cave fps missions have hadenite spawn in enemy npc's armour any more
In this patch it’s about 70% dolivine, but you can mine hardanite and aphorite after you’ve cleared the NPCs.
You are correct there is no hadenite that drops on npc’s since 13.7.2.
The helmets in the lootboxes are still pretty dope tho
@@shawnc5188 I figured out that about 30 min of handanite mining was just about 35K. While alle the Dolovine from boxes and armor got me around 100K real quick.
@@Reapz.- Yep, in patch 3.17.1 it was up to 200k from loot, but the inventory system was always bugging out.
If you make your games just about the grind they will be no different than real life.
agreed
That’s the one I always went to but it was broke for me last patch and now still all sentries don’t spawn usually, but call to arms part is goog
I always get 22500 aUEC + call to arms bonus for that. Its fast way to make money with larger ships like andromeda. There are always players that give me ship if i ask nicely, or fly with me in turret. :D
I love this comunity.
So far no problems.
i once ran out of fuel and i was still new to the game so i typed in the global chat, went toilet and when i came back someone sent me 200k, so nice

I think they have a better AI system but they've decided to put it together with the 4.0 update. As there will be many new bugs
Should I buy auec online ?
Great news for delivery missions. They seem to be working way more reliably in 3.18. I’ve been able to make quite a bit with them. Especially with the 45k ones.

That was a excellent video my guy... LOVED IT!!! 😍
Great Guide! Sending it to all my new player friends!
There is a guide right now on a rented ROC and a rented cutlass black mining which consistently makes around 150k an hour and is chill and relaxing.

they are good, expecially in Daymar and on Hurston Sytem, cuz you will find a lot of Hadanite, make sure to bring a heavy armor so you can use the biggest backpacks (Novikov or Pembroke) if you fill up a backpack, it will get ya more money than the mission itself.
Same here. Except I have also found dead ends in caves that are just walls of space requiring quite the leap of faith.
If you're utterly lost, my advice is to finish the bounty, get the payout, grab the loot (and maybe mine a couple of rocks) then log out. When you log back in, you'll spawn back at the last station you visited.
Great way to start a Sunday morning, cheers LvlCap!
Now I need to make a million dollars in real life.
Thanks for the informative and helpful video level, I'll ave to start doing some mercenary missions they look fun. Are there any cool apps or tools that can be used alongside Star Citizen?
p.s. A nice little time saver I found out about in Star Citizen game chat recently is that on the planet microTech there's a surface entrance to The Commons (the main shop on microTech) that you can land your ship next to and walk right in, such a huge time saver compared to landing/storing your ship at the spaceport and taking the transit line to The Commons and back 👍
You can access inventory once docked. Don't have to go anywhere. Also once near a space station sa.e thing

Why have shield faces in the first place then?
@@Asgar1205 The shield faces used to be independent, but then the game got updated with "Bubble" shields. I am assuming that we still see the faces because they did not update the interface.
@@StrikerWolf91 only small ships have bubble shields
Thats a good tip thx
I did a cave mission, took all the dolivine, but it was listed as illegal cargo and I'm finding it difficult to find somewhere to sell it.
There are a load of ways for player to make their first million and this sets out a few of em, great job!
I didnt know that! Thank you BoredGamer!! Wow i so glad I found your channel.......................................................................
Thanks that was 12mins well spent.
So I've been doing bunker missions in Hurston for quite awhile and I've only been getting 9k missions. Do different systems provide different pays?
9k? I think the very basic ones already provide 15k. What is the name of the contracts you are taking=
after watching this and learns that the ship dogfights tutorial are waayyyyy longer, i decided to become a space cowboy XD
I think they should have it so running a mission with a group nets you more rep but less cash, and running it solo gets you less rep but more cash.
For anyone interested, just accept all of the bunker missions you can get, someone is going to do them for you anyways.
Got myself a Connie the other day
They desperately need to work on enemy death animations, and have them not teleport wherever.
I’m just wondering how he didn’t get a crime stat when killing the miners in the cave?
Please note that their is a specific gaming rig set up for this OG. So his gameplay with not be the same as people who are playing with a mouse + keyboard.
I always thought it would be fun to run a uber type business in this game, shuttling around people.. 'course I guess you would need a initial investment to get a decent ship and insurance just in case! :D
I have a feeling that will become a thing once Pyro and other systems are added. Most the starter ships I don't think will have enough fuel to make those jumps.
What's the best ship that can make the most amount of AUEC?
It took 5 hours a day and 4 weeks of grinding to get max rep on bunkers. That being said it was worth it for me. Recently I just got max bunker rep in all systems. Mind you that is all I did to get max rep is bunkers. Didn't do any other missions.
wtf no wonder I am still only getting 15k ones. How long would you say did it take to get at least the next category of payouts?
@@hubachecka You can check your rep progress in the mobiglas.
I feel like I get about an hour to play at a time and the bunker missions are not available until I'm about out of time
As of today 90% of bunker missions are bugged.
FPS combat in SC is so damn buggy and laggy that you'll get instakilled more then once from an AI that either spawned behind you or didn't stand where he was animated.. hence you were shooting air.

the ai have got a bit tougher from the past. renting a cutty b and a ROC is probably one of the best ways as a noob.
what spec do u need to run this game on max with 60 fps or more?
At what resolution?
Nearly any CPU+GPU from 2019 or later, with the game on an SSD, and at least 32GB of Ram can run the game at a rock solid 30, maybe even 60, fps in 1080.
Going up to 1440p or 4k is a challenge. You basically must have a 5800x3D (by far the best cpu for star citizen), and at least a 6800/3070TI.
You must have 32GB of Ram and run the game on an SSD. These are base requirements no matter your cpu/gpu

How can you tell who’s a bad guy and who’s a civilian?
I've probably lost about 400k due to crashes, I now have 14aUEC to my name
You didnt mention the S9 torp ships, it requires you to drop 3-4mil. retaliator and eclipse that can 1 shot hammerheads. Only cost about 3.8k per torp so you make a lot more than you lose and instakill them
right. this is intended as a making your first mil with a starter ship. So S9 torps are kind of out of reach until you have several mil in the bank already.
did you hear him say say your first mil? they obviously don't have 3-4 mil if they are trying for there first mil?
Step 1: have a pc that can run star citizen.
Enough to buy nice combat ship like ares or a heavy fighter...or freelancer or something.

if your a new player you can loot small out for about 20k an hour once you get good at it, but wont have to get good at because once you have got up about 35k your going to rent ROC and Cutty which will average you about 100k an hour, the combat of star citizen using an aiming matrix called ESP curves calibration and its awful and makes combat unplayable by my standards if you use a controller, all combat is so glitched its ridiculous
@@MattA-fi5qe thanks for chiming in , this remind me ive never used a knife in SC and may try doing that just to see how that goes , im betting that might be quicker than beating them up
bunker missions are buggy
Most people are willing to help more you think :)
im fire up buy it tuday can whait tu play it
Bro you upload these SC videos like people actually play this game often...
🤣So true
community is too nice in star citizen. once i asked for 300 to refuel, they sent me 5 million
got my first mill cause some players doing bounties got stranded
aUEC = alpha united earth DOLLARS. Nice
The bunker missions are the fastest, because the AI is dogpiss and nowhere near difficult to defeat. When the AI for some reason actually works, it can get hairy and you have to slow down your approach.
funny enough the claim jumper missions are broken and let you farm hostile ships, literally killed 60+ & those 500 credit kills add up
enemies dont shoot back? How is this even a game?
