Tip: Always raise your ramp and turn off you engine when disembarking your ship.
I could be wrong, but I don't think it only really matters. You can break into a ship by just shooting the ramp door, so I've never really seen much of a point. You're really only keeping out players that have no weapons / ammo.

The shooting of the ramp thing is crazy. I only worked that out by watching stank rat lol
You can organize inventory to sell. For example, you transfer everything you don't want to sell (grenades, food, multi-tools, whatever) to the station inventory and go to sell using the ship inventory (which will have everything you want to sell) and just press Quick sell in everything.
Thats what I do 💪🏻😅
it still very server dependent, buggy and slow
Even easier is buying a 1 SCU personal cargo container, load everything up in there and sell the whole box at a cargo station in 1 click
You can left shift and click, to move items from one inventory to the next! Good vid!

Dude, if you sell at Everus Harbour, the weapons are worth waaay more: around 2k for a P4 alone!
If you go down Security Checkpoint 2 there are unlimited enemies, so you can go bonkers with this method. Just keep in mind, that sometimes enemies will appear right in front of you, but they're not the smartest ^^

I think these contacts might be a hot location atm. Got incap by another player so either take more than a pistol or grab a friend/org member for back up in case there are non-friendly players. Don't know if people will see this but just wanted to comment a heads up if you see ships at the Distro Centers. Have fun and stay safe out in the verse.
If U gather all the P4 and save them when U have allot of them, you can take them to Everous and sell them for couble the amount! I always do that when I have 20-30 of them.
finally a useful guide for beginner with pretty much a starter ship, + without any big ass whale pledge store ship purchase.
I will try to always include starters. If not also rentals that are accesible to new players.
any friendlies to worry about getting a crimestat from shooting? Also: i'd recommend hitting the cargo deck, and buying a large empty scu container of some kind, at least 2scu if not bigger, and then then put it in the ships cargo hold, it massively increases the "loot carrying" capabilities of even small ships
I have yet to find frindlies on the facility, you do have to watch out for other players. If you kill them you will get a crime stat.

Nice guide, nice method for getting a good start! I like that you can arrive/leave without getting blown up by turrets and having access to local inventory is a loot goblin's dream come true, lol. I had been using the 1 scu/2 scu box method previously and it's such a pain.
I will have a method with this up soon but its more of a 2 mission run.
One thing to mention is that the inventories at distribution centers work like other locations, such as space stations and mining outposts. Their inventory persists! That means you don't have to get everything out of it before logging off. I personally build these inventories up for a while, then fly my c2 there for a mission and load it up before leaving. This allows you to chain missions much faster. I've only done distro centers in Hurston, so interested to see if I can add this one to the mercenary missions I'm already doing.
It can be done, I am currently working on another video that is intended for groups but can also be done solo.
It will chain 3 missions in a row paying about 120k for a 35-60 minute mission session.
Not to mention extra profits from weapon selling, armor selling and call to arms bringing the total pay out to about 600k uec
@@Bendak-ttv or you could just loot rare cargo from bounty hunting targets. 2-3 medium ships with a 315p and 4 players could make millions per hour with the 315p being the dedicated cargohauler. Focus only on crates that exceed a 25k per scu value. Turn and burn indiscriminately while having one guy hang back if there's too much dank loot.
Technically if you had a squad rocking mass drivers you wouldn't even need medium ships (mustang delta/Sabre shoutout... if you can field 5-10 tanas then you won't need to worry about your signature.)
Seems way more practical and rewarding then stripping dead combatants of their armor and dignity.
Puff this is the SDL13 logistics center ! i told this to global chat around a week , and u have a easy way to do it , i can show how its a lot better then ur way ! can explain all in detail i have done this all week around ! After doing one mission, i do the next 2 missions in 10 minutes , with all bodies looted! 😂 there is a way after u are down , u get up near exit using a stairs 😂
I used to do that for jumptown locations. When jumptown isn't on, I used to go there and loot but leave some items behind and leave med pens. Then when jump town was on, I'd have a bunch of equipement there already to use. Then with a new patch, if no wipe, it all got sent to my local inventory to sell and have a good start.

I enjoy using the multi tool to gather 30-50 bodies, and then strip each one for its armor makes good money too
Only done one of these and the ride there was incredibly annoying, but the FPS and looting experience was worth it.
Unfortunately I now struggle finding that legal mission anymore.

Tried this mission past couple of days abandoned ships everywhere and a few other players around so just left tried it again today and the NPCs were hard as nails tried to leave to go back to my ship to restore my health and glitched through the elevator and disappeared into oblivion 😢 still got some loot saved in the local inventory so will try again when the servers are better !
I noticed it today as well! when the area is stacked it seems to create weird glitches.

You can also loot guns and armor on the 890 jump bording mission. Eva out of your cheapest ship, board the 890 jump ship, kill every bad guy, loot the guns, and leave using the 300 jump ship in the hanger. You don't have to do any dog fighting.
I pair both of this missions together, its good to know to always take the call to arms task when doing the boarding process mission youll make an extra 15k I believe for killing all 15 enemies.
@@Bendak-ttv 3 best FPS missions for cash and looting are... 890 jump boarding 50k ,distribution investigation 34k, and Sieze the data 50k missions.

You can actually run around in pickers field, rappel, makers point or dunborro to find the npc with dust devil armor that sells for like 3mil
It'll be interesting to see how this would still work once the inventory terminals come out. We wont be able to access to station inventory so easily then.

I just tried it, the location didnt have a local inventory, so injust got the mission reward and then died
I do this mission the 1st time after watching the vid... "Now this area has a lot of enemies"... Elevator opens... Literally 10 guards standing in the security area right outside the door... Absolutely obliterated me 😂🤣😂
Im telling you this mission is a wild card.
@@Bendak-ttv I died 5 times doing that mission. Eventually had to go get a rescue ship so I can respaen at the location... I think I fought near 50+ enemies, if not more. I lost count. I don't know why there's so few enemies showing in your video compared to my reality. Took me nearly an hour to complete (due to having to bring a rescue ship and then a different ship to haul the loot back to Tresler) with all the dying in between. Sometimes looting and then a few more enemies show up after "area was secured"....
Great mission for fun action, but if what I experienced is the standard... It's absolutely by no means the "easiest" or "quickest" way to get 30k.... I'll do another run at it tomorrow to see of its the same intensity.
Oh man, Tops I've seen is about 22-25 at a time. a good tip is to bring in the S71 rifle its pretty good against medium armor enemies most times killing them with 3-4 shots.
@@Bendak-ttv figured it out. If you enter a fresh server and you're basically the 1st one to run the mission the enemy density is cranked way up... If your on a server where the mission has been done a couple of times there seems to be far less resistance... Either way, I got it down now. Thanks again for this great video advice.

This is pretty easy to figure out on yourself, I did on my 2nd day /self-pat-on-shoulder-lol
You can also right click and open inventory little quicker then navigating two menus
fyi you get way more for guns at everus harbour 2.5k per p4r and karnas i think are 2.1. Ive been doing this from the start of the wipe..easy money defiance helmets and armour torso also good money 1.8k helmet 2.4k armour i think. any sniper and lmg are pretty good money too around 2k each. maybe try hurston distribution centres :)

Ya they spawn together in an outdoor shed on hurston. Just tossed a grenade in and dumped a clip for a pile of 14 bodies haha

Instead of draggin the weapons, shift clicking them or just move all if you want all the weapons when have filtered on the weapons tabs

The local inventory must be an oversight, I have been using this for a couple days and ended up farming basically infinite armor sets. There are also boxes of steel you can take with a tractor beam back to your ship to sell.
Its just a good method compared to going to 35 mining stations to find 4 shirts 😂

the one thing that really annoyed the shit out of me was not responding terminals and selling only one item at a time...ugh
also leg and arm armor is not worth the storage space.

With next patch with this physicalized Inventory this global Station Inventory will be gone... and than it will be a pain in the ass to carry always a loot-container with you to loot weapons and gear...

My friend bought a cuttless black but we can’t get the tractor beam to work. We can get into it to power it up. Move it around but it won’t fire the tractor beam. What is the magic button to get this thing working??? Thanks again for the great video

By the way if your ship makes that weird engine noise like at 13:20 then switch to quantum mode and back after that it should turn off. Its a weird bug right now and can be really annoying on some ships.

Good Guide. Right now i recommend waiting with money making though as it was said that the next patch will have yet another money wipe thanks to all the dupers.
It takes the fun out of the game seeing people do this things so hopefully it gets patched and fixed💪🏻

People that exploit the game and duplicate items.
There is one workaround. You will lose money with the wipe, but not ships, so just make sure you put that money to use before the update. I lost around 100 million auec at the last wipe, wish I had bought more ships.

Still don't know how, and it's not a tutorial how to exploit the game anymore I believe, since CIG already testing patches for some such problems, for an upcoming 3.23.1a.
I'm also wondering because I had a mysterious cargo showing up on terminals still registered inside C2, after I've already sold it and cashed it in TDD the day before.
(cannot resell it again, I just can't buy a new, because the ship shows as full at outposts, will claim it and hope it helps)

Nice. Thanks for the tutorial. Any way to make money from missions without killing? The non-lethal missions all have low pay. And the grind sucks delivering packages only to find the package is stuck under the platform or something.
This week I will start playing Star Citizens again. I will be looking for more missions that can yield good money 💪🏻
In next patch this will not work as local inventory will not exist you will have to carry one item at a time out or take a cargo box into the mission and load that up then carry it to your ship, then hope your cargo box don't fall through the ship.
NOT JUST THAT HOPE YOU DONT CRASH OR WORST THE GAME CRASHES HAHAHA

So how do you complete the mission? Whenever i find a body i click F and nothing happens, no mission update. All 5 locations searched too. Am i doing something wrong?

if its on a safe zone you wont be able to pull your firearm out.

Aegis Titan and you can purchase the backpack in the galeria in Port Tressler.
Just when you engaged the enemy, yo passed to red loot boxes. Great to point that out for new players. could be expensive weapons there to.

Sadly this doesnt work because 90% of the time i cant take loot inside the local inventory because its always bugged...
I always get lost trying to find that manhole and end up getting killed by tons of NPCs.
I got a question, how long does it take for the mission to reappear after we finished it? New player here, still learning the ropes
If its not updated it should take about 10-15 minutes after completion.

@@Bendak-ttv all was well! I just didn’t give it enough time to transfer or had an inventory “reload” waiting that I didn’t stick around long enough for. Weapons harvesting is now my favorite grind!
I get the investigation missions all the time. But I never get one for $34k. I must be doing something wrong or the ones in Hurston don't offer that much.
I've also never used the local inventory I've been dragging bodies to my ship lol. When I do the bunker investigation I never get attacked. Could be because I request landing.
Ive noticed this investigation missions populate alot near microtech atleast the high paying ones.

Sadly enough this does not work as good with bunkers you'll have to bring a cargo box down with you to be able to loot.
Double click on ammo to auto equip it btw. Saves minutes of dragging and dropping
Oh also, you don't have to land at the station, as long as your within like 5km of the station, you can access the station inventory. Could make things much faster as well

Good Tut, one thing i noticed and this has happened to me when looting bodies as soon as i turn around there is random loot floating / bouncing around - Can you still collect them I can never get them.
Probably with the multi tool.

so answer me one question. If you shoot someone and then take his armor. That armor has damage and is no more holding ear. That means you are not able to use it to stay alive in space. Shooting other player in head and putting his helmet on is so cringe. But it will never be fixed.
Maybe in the future, item durability is something that needs fix asap.
How do you have hit markers during fps combat? I don’t have anything to tell me I’ve hit my shot. Lol
Im not sure but after this new patch released I noticed I had them. I dont remember having them before.
@@Bendak-ttv it must be a bug with servers. I was US servers most of the day with not hit markers. I then switched to EU servers for the heck of it and suddenly I have hit markers. Very weird. Lol
I just checked and it is on the settings I believe it shows up as fps hitmarker sounds.
The Distribution Center Investigation Missions have unfortunately all been broken and uncompletable for me.
Ive noticed a couple of bugs on the missions but never had them issues completing them.

Would it be faster if you bought a couple 1 scu boxes from the cargo deck to supplement your loot storage? That way you don't have to spend as much time being selective on what to take. Just move it all.
Yes it would improve the method, I kinda just threw a quick guide for new players. just to focus on making that initial capital.

These missions you are doing. Are they legal missions or illegal mission? Cuz if they are legal missions you are missing out on an extra 500 per kill by not taking the Call to Arms mission under Mercenary. Which should always be priority once you log on, as long as you're planning to stay on the legal side of Star Citizen. Just a friendly FYI!! 😁😁
I forgot to cover this on the video, but it seems that the call to arms add on does not pay for this mission since the kills are on security guards instead of bandits. Im not sure if its my game being bugged or what.

@@Bendak-ttv Your game is not bugged. Call to Arms only works on the legal missions that have to do with killing bandits and/or pirates. I think once the game is complete killing security guards will get us crime stats.

So the station inventory is yours only ? if another person flies there and wants to do the mission, he could steal your stuff?
That would be correct im not sure if they will ever change it. Also your ship inventory also works the same way.

Is the mission area shared by other players or is it more like the mission “Failed Negotiations” where it only spawns after you pick up the quest and is dedicated to only the quest acceptor?
No, it can be share and all party members can see it.
Also if another player has the quest youll see a second body that will not complete your quest.

I'm pretty sure they wont be having localized inventory in the future and even if they do you'll have to drag a box down their to be able to loot it completely.
Be warned this mission will glitched or be unplayable if the servers are being ass especially if dysync is bad so be warned.
i think players are just going to dupe untill they are gonna fix it next patch, pretty sad since we are suppose to test missions and game loops. thanks for the guide
Sadly, the wost part is new players get their shot at cargo hauling stolen before they even start since whales are buying everything including low paying resources just to be able to sell and repeat.

From 35 to 60 fps depending the area also if the server is not so full I get about 80.
