I recently learned of your channel and have been learning so much. I was diagnosed diabetic last January and, since getting on medication, have had to alter my diet some. I've lost nearly 40 pounds this year simply by eating about 35 carbs per meal, but seeing other recipes like yours help me plan ahead for myself since my family doesn't eat like me. I enjoy seeing food options with no sauces and carbs added as desired since it helps me portion more effectively.

I've been doing research on the Keto diet and have read so many conflicting reports on what you can and can't eat. Thank you so much for breaking it down in such an easy to understand manner!
I found that for me personally eating red meats makes my skin break out! I use to get bad cystic pimples that almost always left scars. Since cutting that out my skin is clear! But because of that my question is, could I still do the keto diet or incorporate some aspects with only eating poultry?
that's so good that you are learning what works for you :) You can approach a keto diet without meat and even without dairy! There are many people who are vegetarian or pescetarian and keto, too :) Whole foods are very versatile and there are lots of healthy plant based fats- avocados, nuts, seeds, coconut, veggies, healthy oils, etc. Add some salmon in there and you're good to go! :)
That beef & broccoli bowl is fabulous! The whole fam loved it. Great, easy recipe!! I didn't have ginger or garlic paste on hand so I used minced garlic and some ground ginger to taste, and that turned out fine. I also whipped up a spicy peanut sauce on the side and that was even better. Thumbs up! Thanks for the keto recipes! This one will be a keeper.

It's still difficult for me to maintain a keto lifestyle, but having recipes that are visually stimulating and delicious makes it so much easier. I think my family might even eat some of this. There is no science behind it. Other than that what it was developed for, epilepsy. But for people without severe neurological disorders, it's just idiotic. Just check out some blood test keto people show in youtube, usually around 300mg/dl cholesterol levels. I bet you have pretty damn high cholesterol levels also, based on these insane foods you eat. Bacon? You do know that it's classified as class A carcinogen? Same as cigarettes.
Seriously, why would anyone give this video a thumbs down? You have some great ideas here. I'm definitely going to try the one with ground beef, cauliflower rice, and broccoli. I think before summer with its hot temperatures arrives, I'm going to make a ton of those egg muffin cups and freeze them. Also going to cook up and freeze a lot of chicken thighs as I like to add those to salad. I live in a little apartment that gets the afternoon and evening sun all summer long and it's killer hot so I don't feel like cooking at all.

MrsBrit1 A lot of keto instagrams are unhealthy. Rarely see fresh produce and use too many sugar free products. Really is something using aspartame healthier then sugar?
I've never seen a Keto diet video or read a publication that uses unhealthy fats in their recipes! Never!

There is no science behind it. Other than that what it was developed for, epilepsy. But for people without severe neurological disorders, it's just idiotic. Just check out some blood test keto people show in youtube, usually around 300mg/dl cholesterol levels. I bet you have pretty damn high cholesterol levels also, based on these insane foods you eat.

Seriously, why would anyone give this video a thumbs down? You have some great ideas here. I'm definitely going to try the one with ground beef, cauliflower rice, and broccoli. I think before summer with its hot temperatures arrives, I'm going to make a ton of those egg muffin cups and freeze them. Also going to cook up and freeze a lot of chicken thighs as I like to add those to salad. I live in a little apartment that gets the afternoon and evening sun all summer long and it's killer hot so I don't feel like cooking at all.
