I apologize if you have already done this in an older video I may have missed. Thank you for all of your hard work.

wow! I love whole30, this is my 4th round now. I did my first one for around 80 days. Since then I've learned that Melissa doesn't recommend doing it for over 90 days because the point is to learn how your body responds to the eliminated foods, not eliminate them forever, but you've got to do you.
@@MindOverMunch , nope, not for me ,, I just cured my self of 4 major health issues . I do need to eliminate , foods , I am on a major health path . Not just for 30 days . I had tests done, for food allergies / intolarences
Happy new year to you gorgeous 🎊 it’s been amazing to see your success on UA-cam, I’m so happy and proud of you. This is wonderful and I have shared it in y Facebook group, I’m sure many people will be interested in it.
Would you ever consider doing a whole food plant based diet recipe? I started doing that at the first of the year and been enjoying it so far. The only hard thing for me was no oils which includes olive and avocado oils.
I just have a question: isn’t the vegetable broth and the chicken apple sausage (unless they are literally homemade) defeat the premise of the Whole30 program? No matter how you sell them, it’s processed food after all.
Nope, it doesn't defeat anything :) Vegetable broth and chicken apple sausage really need very few ingredients... they are close to whole foods, but most processed varieties available butcher them. If we find brands that are keeping it clean, there's no harm-in fact it's good :) I really recommend checking out whole30.com for some more info like that!

I’ve been vegan for almost 4 years now, and I decided to give vegan Keto a try 🤷🏻♀️ I’d love to see some meal prep for that. I bought a cookbook, but I have a feeling that I’ll be needing all the help I can get 😂
I am currently trying to rock Whole 30 but it is very discouraging due to the prevalence of coconut and nuts in recipes and sauces. I am allergic to both, so it looks like fancy food won't be for me this month. I might try your chicken wings sans the almonds and raisins though. That looked good!
Kim E That is partially why I think Whole 30 is kinda bs. It supposedly takes out the foods that are most inflammatory....but not the foods that have the highest rates of true allergies? And even the authors admit their choices are arbitrary. 😕
@@stacyr4549 Yeah I am becoming more skeptical as I realize how little I have for options that don't require complete scratch cooking. I hope people don't develop coconut or nut allergies after whole 30. I developed my peanut allergy after having weight loss and eating a lot of nut products.
I got you, but you definitely don't need to eat coconut or nuts on whole30. On my last whole30 I eliminated nuts completely. Coconut aminos and coconut milk are nice for cooking, but not essential :)

Happy new year, family. I was wondering, can sweet potatoe cubes b cooked in the stove top? If so, do they have to b boiled first? I'm clueless when it comes to cooking those...
Melanated Alton they don’t have to be boiled. You can use a skillet and cook them. If they are cut into mini cubes they will cook faster and more evenly. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, any other spices. My husband and I like to add smoked paprika, everyday seasoning from Trader Joe’s
Sure they can! I make a hash with sweet potato cubes often. No need to boil first, just give them enough time to soften, 10-20 minutes depending on how large they are cut :)
@@JB11334 Awesome! Thank u so much. I'm just learning to cook with sweet potatoes and at this time my oven is broken. I actually have some smoked paprika so I'll give that a try today. Thank u very much.
Hello Alton! Sweet potatoes are very versatile. You can slice them into thick "chips" and sautee them, or cube and pan-fry them (similar to restaurant home fries), or slice/julienne them and deep fry for a crispy snack, or bake them in the microwave...and you don't need to boil them first. You can, of course, boil and mash them with milk and butter if you wish. They make good baby food that way, and are a good alternative to mashed potatoes! A quick google search will give you many preparation-and-seasoning ideas.
I have a coconut allergy and by fiance a nut allergy. Does your course give allergy alternatives? It feels like I can’t find a single “healthy” dish that doesn’t add one or the other and it drives me up a wall.
