So I'm trying for ketosis though, but I'm sure these will help when I get a sweet craving. Even at 100 carbs a day I've lost about 25 pounds over the last couple of years without really trying. I think that's pretty good for a 70 year old woman.

Things I miss the most are fries, mangos, and watermelon. Fruits of course can’t be replicated and have yet to see a recipe anywhere even close to regular fries. Oh well, small price to pay for losing so much weight and gaining my health.

I’m not on keto but I will actually be making all of these smoothies, bc I swear EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER on UA-cam or Pinterest puts bananas in the smoothies and I HATE bananas so much. But also I love that these will work as a meal replacement. Thank you for the recipes.
I'm not on Keto, but this is good to know. I've been doing berries (different ones each time), avocados, unsweetened almond milk, and kale. I don't really add any powders, just some peanut butter scoops into my glass. Keeps me full for 5-6 hours, great for two meal intermittent fasting

I was really skeptical of the spice combo in that golden smoothie but it was the only one I could make with the ingredients I had. I wanted to make a smoothie with my wheatgrass powder which is so gross. I modified it a little but it was amazing. I did coconut cream from a can, ice cubes, wheatgrass powder, collagen powder, and the rest was your ingredients. It tastes so good. Almost like a chai spice smoothie. I'm a fan! 👍

Matcha powder is finely ground green tea leaves, you can make it at home from a good brand green tea leaves, just make sure you grind it properly. No rocket science there. Beautiful recipes, thank you.

Celery, Cucumber and Matcha, tried and tested! 10/10. Fortunately I live in Japan, so I have plenty of matcha. I had to switch out the cashew milk for coconut milk however. I don’t think it’s sold here. I also added a pinch of pumpkin spice to it.

I prefer them same day, but you could try prep bags where you put the fresh/dry ingredients in a plastic bag or jar and then add liquid at time of blending :)

The other way to know if you're in keto is to pay attention to how your body feels. For the cheesecake, you could use the can of thick coconut milk. When i get this one, it comes seperated, with the fat solid at the top and the water at the bottom.

keto doesn't mean "no sugar," it means using ketones as fuel instead of glucose. It's a misconception to believe "no" fruit is allowed, because it's really about keeping the ratio of fat to carbs high enough to keep one in ketosis-and carb tolerance and insulin sensitivity will depend on the person. Some people can only handle 15g carbs per day to remain in ketosis, some can handle 75-100 grams per day. The only way to know is a blood ketone test.

I’ve tried ricotta cheese in my smoothies and it tastes like cream cheese... kinda, it makes them very creamy... but it’s more protein I believe
