My husband was born in Spain and his family likes to have me over for paella so incredibly delicious what a wonderful place to visit and experience the delicious food
I'm from Valencia, thanks for sharing our Valencian culture with the world, now everyone can learn what a real paella looks like and how it's actually made haha
Espana! The most beautiful country in the world! Beautiful food! Beautiful women! Beautiful country! I have travelled all over the country! From Costa del Sol Marbella, Puerto Banus, Malaga, Sierra Nevada, Granada, Seville, Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid. Viva Espana from London & Washington DC!
But why do the Spanish continue to be jealous of Portugal? We are geographically smaller, but in the rest, including gastronomy, we are so much better, apart from the rest... research and admire yourself!!!☝
Mark iam so happy you are keeping up with all your channels. I know its very difficult to do We. Cant get enough of you .thank you for all your hard work you put into your life work Truly appreciated Nick Dintino
That's my favorite paella even though the other ones must've been wonderful. This one cooked perfectly by Chef Raul! It had everything in it. Chicken, rabbit, snails, green beans and the butter beans, plus a little more broth. Just looking at you Mark enjoying every spoonful I know Chef Raul is a craftsman. I looked at the appetizers they were so tasty I bet. This is why I love Spain they make sure you have an enjoyable experience at their resteraunts. The views, the service, and especially the food. Lovely little town outside Valencia.
My husband and I moved to Valencia,Spain from Los Ángeles , we've been at Bonaire restaurante Many times our favorite paella Restaurante, Raúl is fantastic and his paella are the BEST, we are very Lucky to be here
i can tell you that the rice fields remind us of home like northern Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam! in fact, you can visit the Po Valley which is the home of the rice production in Italy grown for the risotto. there are also rice fields in Portugal as well.
I love watching your videos and exploring the world with you. It's Beautiful 😍 Also, every time I watch a video of yours, I get hunnnnnngrrrrry 🤤😍🤣 P.S: I love his Peaky Blinders shirt with Binder. I wonder where he got it from...I want one
Wow! Looks incredible! What an honor to meet Chef Raul as I'm sure it was an honor for him to cook for Mark! Snow angel in the rice🤣haha amazing how 12,000 people go there every weekend! All food items I've never tried before! Spain looks beautiful and the food looks amazing! I would love to see what the food is like in Ireland! Has Mark ever went to Ireland or Scotland before? I don't think I've seen an episode with him there yet?
@@MarkAbroad Hi Mark! So awesome to have you reply! I heard it's beautiful and has amazing food when and if you go! Thanks for making us all hungry every day lol safe travels to you and your family🙏
Hopefully they change the name on there so they don’t have a misunderstanding. Here to sharing. I think or kinda. Either way it’s still all good. Your a Saint.
Some pro tip, If a chef hands a spoon (first taste spoon) to you, Taste if first, talk later. Chef's waiting for your reaction; good, bad, something missing. Spoon up, explain later.
The original Valencian paella is made just with rabbit and chicken. There's hundreds of other variants, such as seafood paella and even a black one made with calamari ink
Next time come to Alicante, where there is a day with popular contest of arroz del senyoret (seafood paella) that is typical from Alicante. Best restaurants of rices and premium restaurant of rices are there more than in Valencia.
Oh dear, I do love that Dish but since I'm not in Spain at the moment, how then do I get the chance to taste your lovely cuisine, Chef?! Nevertheless, I guess Mark and his Pals had already done you the honours(Ha-Ha)! Cheerios, Merci Beaucoup et Bon travailes! The food looks awsome ! Has there ever been a time you didn't like the food , I have never seen you show that in your videos! It all looks good but something has to not be incredible
There are two different types of Pimentón, the normal Pimentón which is Paprika though the Spanish one taste slightly different, and then there is Pimentón Dulce which is like a Sweet Smoked Paprika. What they are using in this recipe is Pimentón Dulce, so definitely NOT powdered chilli as you say, as Paella is in no way 'spicy hot'. Indeed, most traditional Spanish dishes rarely use chiilli as most Spanish people do not like it, especially older people. If you were told that the pimentón dulce was chilli, you were misinformed.
Why do i like this Guy because he was Well raised like everyone else never turning food down like most people how are badly raised To hâte most food that nakes me so MAD
ok, this is for all of you who post ridiculous dishes that you call "paella". THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE IT!, so please do not distort or promote the wrong thing. We have had enough of that bullshit, and please do not put pork, chorizo, peas, list go on......and on plus etc... and whoever watched this video and can help to promote the real thing by identifying videos on youtube of people who say they can cook a beautiful paella when in reality they are just making a rice dish, leave them a comment telling them about what they are doing has nothing to do with paella, the only thing closest to it is just that they used a paella pan. Amazing!
Looks yummy but for that price you could eat for a month in Thailand lol. But you have to splurge on yourself. Love you and your family. Love from Ontario Canada.

This might be Mark's other channel, but content is straight up fire too! 🔥
Thank you Daniel!
Great video again, but one thing, in Paella he puts in "pimentòn dulce" which is NOT (like you mentioned) powdered chilli it's: smoked bell pepper ^_^
Please keep me in your prayers I'm improving I'm in a regular room now I was in the ICU but your prayers worked

I never tasted paella, it looks delicious and very comforting, very nice Mark.
“I’m having an amazing day. Hi everyone, I’m Mark Wiens.”
That paella so well done is rare to see abroad🤣
Because it was made in El Palmar, Valencia. Where Paella was born.

Here in Colombia they say we use the closest pronunciation to Spain as any other cou8ntry. Paella is pronounced Pie-ai-jah

Its how his budget is
Not everyone can afford everything
Quick question Mark, did the chef wash the rice?
El arroz en España no se lava, si lo lavas para la paella se queda un emplasto.
never ever wash round rice for paella, the starch is needed to bind the broth and not overcook the rice. washing rice is an asian thing
