Mark, as a spaniard, I'm extremely surprised by the quality of your tour. It's the first time that I saw a foreinger foodie that actually shows the amazing and rich cuisine that you can find in any corner of the country. What makes Spanish food so different yet simple is that there is a huge emphasis on the quality and taste of the ingredients. Good quality food does not require a ton of seasoning.
Because they use fresh ingredients that get alot of Light from sun and nutrients from the environment and plus they often use local produce that is organic and grown in near by land. Also the Spanish traditions, lifestyle and culture that influences the food and way they eat.

Mark: so glad you enjoyed the authentic Paella Valenciana. I've been a student of the dish for years (see my profile pic). It takes love, care and proper attention to how you make the dish. I love the fact you identified the real reason to celebrate paella - the rice!
if you are still in the valencia area, you must go to "asador el pastoret" a restaurant in náquera, a small village 25km north of valencia, where they make the famous valencian "esmorzaret" (copious amounts of food that you usually eat at weekends between breakfast and lunch)

I am so glad that you, Mark, are showing the whole world how paella is really made, and shut up all those people who think they know how to make paella. They are many in UA-cam confusing everyone else. You, Mark, are undoing all the damage done during many years of promoting something they call paella when they mean risotto with this fabulous video of the real authentic paella, and not the bullshit you always find here at youtube. And I hope all those "offenders" take the videos down or maybe be warned of risk of false advertisement implications

I had a famous Cannabis grower do my vegetable garden this year, all organic nutrients, the way he grows everything.the tomatoes were so sweet(as well as the corn) and were the best I've ever had.Everything was the best I've ever had and the garden featured just about everything.(including two cannabis plants.) Those butter beans are one of my favorite country cooking sides, especially growing up from the garden. Way better and different than green Lima's. We differentiate because Butter Beans we Grow are the purple speckled or heirloom "Jackson Wonder"... Same family, totally different flavors. Butter Beans cook up a deep brown tan color. We also eat the mature Lima's that are white but generally they're green and the flavor profiles are very apparent.
We had a Spanish guy make paella at the Amsterdam Plage (beach) years ago during a lovely summer. It was a special treat organized by Cantina Mobile who were running things there. He knew what he was doing and it was perfect. Plenty of high quality Spanish cuisine in Amsterdam. I remember in particular a Zarzuela which is odd because given the amount of wine we'd been drinking that evening I shouldn't be able to remember anything at all.

Mark: so glad you enjoyed the authentic Paella Valenciana. I've been a student of the dish for years (see my profile pic). It takes love, care and proper attention to how you make the dish. I love the fact you identified the real reason to celebrate paella - the rice!
Awesome that you are a paella aficionado, what a dish of celebration!
Spain has some amazing food along with its culture
if you are still in the valencia area, you must go to "asador el pastoret" a restaurant in náquera, a small village 25km north of valencia, where they make the famous valencian "esmorzaret" (copious amounts of food that you usually eat at weekends between breakfast and lunch)
Thats me country, Spain, THE HEAVEN OF FOOD AND THE AMAZING QUALITY
Mark, AWESOME! It is the most perfect documentary I have ever seen about the making of Valencian paella. I send you my most sincere congratulations. Many greetings from Barcelona, Spain.
Hey mark, though I am a vegetarian, and your videos mostly includes non vegetarian food, I still enjoy all your videos. The way you enjoy food of different cultures and express it in your words it feels like we are enjoying with you. Thank you
He has a plant base channel as well which is great as well. ♥️

Amazing to see the rich variety of ingredients in Spain. Wonderful!
Im spaniard, Mark, and i love your videos. Thanks for show our true product. U had a perfect guidance.
Hey Mark, I’m from valencia and I follow you for some time. Happy to see you liked our gastronomy and that you were surrounded by experts on the field. You had the authentic experience here. Thanks for sharing it with the world!
I felt the same! I'm valenciana too.
Thanks Mark, you have arrived at the Mecca of the most iconic dish in Spain, the Paella Valenciana. You will already know that the PAELLA is the pan where it is cooked. Mention must be made of the famous Fallas de Valencia.❤🥇👍
He needs to go in March for Las Fallas de San José!
I'm from Spain and I've never tried a valencian paella with duck in it, I'll have to go back to Valencia and look for one to try! Great video!
Thank you for always giving everyone a little history lesson. Shows us all how connected we are.
thank you for showing the true and real paella valenciana to the world! 🤩
I just dont understand how u can manage such a loud and joyful manner while talking to a camera and in a public spot without caring about what/how people look at u or think about u
Can you even start to imagine what it would be like to travel with Mark for just one day? WOW!!! He's living the dream.
Maybe you can use some more imagination to realise that how much works he puts behind the camera.
I absolutely LOVE Spain. It is my hope to retire there when the time comes or sooner if I can swing it. As for the Paella you are correct I have never had Paella as good as I had there.
as a valencian I can tell this is a legit paella ❤
That is a great video! Few of us will witness in person the magic of paella…so I am so happy to see this video!
Mark wow, your videos have been so great for what feels like a decade now. Another great one. Love your energy, passion, humility, honesty and respect for local culture. HOPE YOU ARE HAVING AN AMAZING DAY!!!
Espanha linda, como não amar-te? Um abraço português

Grew up making Paella all the time instinctively, and never realized i was making it until a Spainard in NYC told me I was making it. I never used snails In mine. The 2nd version in this video is how I made mine.
We have been twice at Tony Montoliu's restaurant while visiting Valencia. The best paella in Spain.
Wow, I've traveled to Europe and Africa, but Mark's worldly travels just shows that IT IS A BIG BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL WORLD depending on where you go.
May be my favorite video yet. The entire Spain trip has been so good.
I'm truly amazed with how much you're actually enjoying it. It makes me so happy to see foreigners enjoy Spanish cuisine (Valencian in that case!). I see you have a passion for food, and you've come to the right country. Spain's food is as diverse as it's people and culture. Hope you have fun wandering around and eating!
Great Mr Mark. Really incredible ' Paella'.
You offered a fantastic opportunity for the first timers to see the prep.of real Paella!!!
I had a famous Cannabis grower do my vegetable garden this year, all organic nutrients, the way he grows everything.the tomatoes were so sweet(as well as the corn) and were the best I've ever had.Everything was the best I've ever had and the garden featured just about everything.(including two cannabis plants.)
I truly hope you will,at some point,be able to try such veggies.
Mark, As always yet another amazing video. My wife and I are very big fans of yours. We have been watching your videos over 6 years now. Now that I am traveling to Spain next week, will visit all the places you had mentioned here.

That is a must, when in Valencia in March. 😁👌 Welcome back, any time Mark! 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨✨✨
Again, truly wonderful evocative memories of Spain & Valencia. Truly epic video, fantastic food, wonderful people. Just glorious.
"Tomatoes so aromatic ", .....I love tomatoes, my favorite fruit. I'm convinced Mark loves everything...or tries to. We need more of that...trying and trying for the best. No judgements. Thanks Mark...
Holy smokes! The paella looks amazing! I'm so hungry now, I could eat my own head!
Real food for real people. We love you mark! 🍻💪
My Spanish Nana always served some version of beans or peas with her Paella and Arroz con Pollo dishes. ♥️ The only time I'd eat peas is when she prepared them 😋
I quite enjoyed how you took a well know dish and broke down the ingredients. I always see the at Chatuchak market and wondered what he was doing. Keep up the videos like this style for sure !
Thank you about your hard work showing spanish food to everyone
i've been in valencua last week, and i had paella valenciana in a restaurant on the beach, it was so delicious! no snails just chicken i believe but so good!
Cooking the food with wood-fired kitchen makes it's look more authentic. Thanks for sharing. 😋
What a video... Loved hearing the rabbits, ducks & chicken sizzle
The food looks so delicious and those vegetables looked fresh vibrant you definitely is a great cook if you can cook over open fire especially rice
Hi Mark ❤️ from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 This Spanish food series was Amazing & this Paella brings back which I had in Barcelona.Keep up the good work Mark.
Those butter beans are one of my favorite country cooking sides, especially growing up from the garden.
Yummy Authentic Spanish Paella - I LOVE Valencia, Spain
really happy that you enjoy visiting my city and my culture, hope that you will come back soon!!
Mark you lucky guy!
Valencia on my bucket list
Awesome job thanks
From Wisconsin
Absolute A Grade video as usual Mark. Love from the Philippines. Now im hungry. Lol
Thanks Mark really enjoyed the show, Valencia is surely on my list of places to visit...
The hits just keep on coming with your Spain tour, LOVE IT!!! I’m also excited about your newly available ghost spice 😋
Mark, i am a big fan of your videos for a very long time (I am from Barcelona but my boyfriend is Valencian!!). I wished I would have known you were going to be there cause YOU CAN’T MISS RESTAURANTE LA GENUINA (just on the outskirts of Valencia city) and the restaurant itself is a old rice farm house (La Barraca) which is a must see… it is a unique place but you need to reserve in advance cause surely only with 6 or 7 tables its always booked!! I hope you will read this and perhaps have the chance to go there :) big hug!!
Hi Mark. I never espected you came here to my city.
I hope you enjoy a lot of Valencia and the Valencia territory.
Lots of love Mark 😉😊💙💚
Mark, you are an inspiration for all food lovers but also those who love to travel in order to experience cultures different from our own, needless to say, I love you channel
