@@s2_eleven551 i'm not trying to be insulting here, but that's like asking "my car still stops, why should i get new brake pads?" the answer is the same, the friction material wears out and if you dont replace em you can cause damage to other parts you dont want to replace ever. If you take it to a shop you trust for maintainence ever you can ask them to have a look and see if it's close to the end of it's life.
@@NGG1983 I got a new clutch, flywheel, rear main seal, pilot bearing, all new hardware, and steel input bearing retainer on the shelf. Collecting dust. Thanks though
My first Mustang was a 95' GT convertible. Even with an automatic and 2.73 gears, it would light up the rear tires NO problem. I can only imagine that car with a 5-speed and 3.73 gears. I currently have a 98' GT 5-speed with full bolt-ons and 3.73 gears. Those cars are night and day acceleration wise, but I still prefer the 5.0L over the 2v 4.6L
I wouldn’t say “parts” are easy to find. Good luck getting ahold of a factory egr tube or new 94-95 headers. Im in California and restoring a highly modified out of state car. Its been a major hassle getting emissions related and CARB certified parts. Aside from that, yes, majority of fox mustang suspension and engine parts will work. After months of searching I finally found a set of new bbk shorties on ebay and had to go with a magnaflow 4 cat x pipe that cost north of 2k. I had to cut, weld, and modify the bbk egr pipe to fit my inatke. Car was worth saving. Only paid $1500 and got a new 306 engine, forged pistion, b cam, svo aluminum heads, trick flow upper and lower intake, 5 speed and a mint interior. Had to swap in a stock cam and re-gasket the engine. Can sat for 10 years in the desert and every rubber/plastic line was dry rotted.
Unfortunately sounds like a California only problem. Websites like americanmuscle and lmr have tons of new parts, but most are not emissions compliant. Unfortunate
@@cerrutiauto Utah, I feel like the more west you go the cheaper sn95, definitely in the east you’ll find a rolling shell for 4-5k with no engine, at least what I’ve been noticing
I bought me a 94' back in 2003 and still have it. These and the 95' have become inspection exempt in my state and of course the fun factor is high with them. These respond fantastically to an H pipe and Flowmaster 44s. They sound unreal.
I currently own a 94 GT convertible and a 95 GTS. Both are awesome. I have off road x pipe and straight piped on one, and h pipe and flow masters on the other and both sound amazing

@cerrutiauto Yep. I had a foxbody before the cobra that I wish I still had. I like the cobra though. I get compliments on it just about every time I take it to a show.

I got my 95 GT when I was 20 years old. I’m 41 now and it’s still my daily driver. 218k on the original motor and clutch. It truly is a great car.
you need a new clutch. i just replaced mine at 180k and it was worn down to just above the rivets. never abused. wear part are still wear parts

Yeah the 5.0 is a strong motor and requires almost no maintenance
I brought my 95 gt 8 years ago
Only thing different with mine is its a export model
Absolutely love it

This guy is telling the truth, bought a wrecked 97 gt with a bad fender for 1300 Kept it and drove it until I lost control and crashed it again

The only thing valuable on the SN95 are the front spindles from 94-95.
I would disagree, they’re very much starting to shoot up in value
