  • After a week's break, we are back to YT in full force! This project was meant to be a 1 or 2-day project with the basic necessities that need to be addressed with the sn95 Mustang.
We feel for the owner's plans with the car this was the first 5 mods of owning the mustang!
This was not meant to be a crazy project or any increase in HP. We wanted to increase the seat of pants feel, handling and of course the looks!

94-04 mustangs will always be my favorite gen. However it still bothers me how Ford decided it was ok to leave the long throw shifters of the base models in their performance models. Before you think about engine performance, always upgrade the shifter in the sn-95/99-04 if your shifting time matters to you

Man I was just outside doing some leaf removal from my lawn and swung in the garage and said hi to my beautiful 94 Cobra all tucked away. Here in WI she's gonna be hibernating a while! But DAMN I miss her!!! It's FAR from stock. About 400whp. So fun!

How’d you get 400 whp? What mods you got?

Never owned a mustang before and am looking at a 95 GT 5.0 convertible with 116k, 1 owner. I have no plans at all for racing but long rides to FL, La, and Rhode Island.

Any 5 mods on a Mustang is a slippery slope lol and yes gear oil smells awful. If I started over I wouldn't do anything different from what has been done to this one. Gears, Wheels, Short Throw, Lower springs, exhaust. Is always a good start.

Not a bad turnaround for a quick project!

I think Y2K Cobra R wheels should be more popular on these cars.
Personally, I would have opted for the Eibach Sportline springs.

Great video as always. I think the mods were spot on honostly. The wheels are always a great option for the sn 95 or the edge. I have a set in Black chrome for my 03 DSG and I love them. Love the videos and keep em coming

If I had to start over again I would do exactly what you did! Small steps and enjoy it little better than stock but nothing crazy just a nice cruiser. Great job fellas!

Wheels, maximum motorsports everything on suspension, headers and full exhaust, 3:73 gears!

  • @5fifty794

Need some Koni or Bilstein shocks to go with those springs!

  • @jamessoria9706

I think cai, exhaust, pulleys, throttle body could be the first 4 with 3.73 gears, but of course you’ll need good suspension to drive better and good shocks and struts

I love my 95 Cobra, but speed bumps prevent me from lowering. I have Cobra wheels already. MSD ignition and CAIntake

Depending on the mileage on the motor, I probably would have done valve springs and a similar cam to maybe E303 or F303. Doesn't have to be those cams, just similar. No B303, though they sound good, not good for mostly stock cobras, GTs.

  • @ApexxPredator1

Can’t go wrong with them mods. Maybe performance wise a JLT Cold air intake and a 96-98 Cobra hood and rear bumper cover.

Do you know of any cheap performance mods? I’ve been doing some research and I know a cam would light it up but that’s a ton of work If you do it yourself

    • @StreetcarShenanigans
      @StreetcarShenanigans  3 роки тому +2

"cheap" is relative. the top end packages available from trickflow and holley paired with tuning is GREAT bang for the buck

If I'm trapping in 3rd gear, why would I want to add gears? SO I can shift in to 4th in the 1/4? No Thanks!

Yeah probably once I get my mustang when I'm like 16 or 17 first thing I'll do is I'm exhaust after because I'm going to get a manual fuck the autos
