My keloid update: Part 1

- Hi there! My name is India Jasiri and I'm an actress living in Los Angeles, California. I just wanted to share a series of videos that will update you on my currently keloid scar journey.
I've dealt with keloids since I was 12- about 14 years now. I've recently discovered a treatment for them that has never been offered to me, and isn't widely used (or known about, I think) so I am very excited to share the news. But first, I'd like to recount the major events in my 14 years of dealing with my earlobe keloid scars.
I realize this is a fairly long video, but I do think sharing my path is important for you to understand the complexity of keloid treatment, and how I got to where I am in my journey today.
My hopes are that I don't bore you much, and that you like this video and will look out for the rest!

I had my gallbladder removed in October, didn't tell the surgeon and now I have 5 terrible keloids on my stomach. One is right were my bra sits on my sternum, or the middle of my rib cage. 😞
I had them as a child as well, when I got my ears pierced at 4. They scared up badly so my parents had them removed surgically when I was 6. Fast forward 24 years later I didn't even think to tell my surgeon that I was prone to scaring, now one of them hurts and I'm having figure out a good doctor to go to for help.

You know, I’ve never seen a super young child have keloids and was starting to think there might be something to the tradition of piercing babies’ ears. Someone told me they do it while they’re babies to prevent keloids? But I just don’t know.

I had the same issue, the last doctor stitched mine and thankfully they never grew back. I have so many scars and I hate them
So glad they never grew back! You’re beautiful with all your scars, but I know it can take time to love all of them. ❤️

Hey how to treat hypertrophic scar??
I heard your suppose to apply pressure after surgery so it wont grow elevated.
Please recommend me the treatment in simple way i have 3 keloids 1 at my nack and 2 at my shoulder
