Would you be able to list the electronics that you put in it as well? Also, I was wondering where did you get that amazing body designed? That’s got to be the most spectacular RC car body I’ve ever seen.
@@chico368 If you’re experienced, you can copy most of the useful settings from this video with your eyes. His settings would work on ptile or carpet, not for super slippery ceramic tile.
Epic build you did there and damm the results are stunning. Iam more of a basher but since I build the tamiya tt02 amg I now have a drifter kit incoming 👌🏻 you and a couple of others give me the inspiration to start build a driftcar. Keep up making content it's a great learning for everyone 🤙🏻
Very nice video! I thought I was watching a RaceInPeace is here video, until I scrolled down to read comments, and noticed it wasn't! I too have watched his channel and am inspired by his videography. Great content, keep up the good work!
Just wanna say your layout and intro was killer. Very well done, video was great! Forgot to add and maybe I missed it, but how much was this build? Looks intense haha
@@TimmyWoo that Has to be the nicest RC car body that I have ever seen on any vehicle in any category. Absolutely gorgeous! Amazing job! You should open a business selling custom bodies. I’d pay a lot of money to have some thing that looked like that.
Timmy,im not know to drift rc cars,my question to you is what kind of drift car you reccoment to start with,my budget is around 500euro/dollar,with Kindly regards Arno
My first build is YD2-S its a kit you have to build just parts in small bags. My question what electronics to run i want the best!!! Yokomo build. You have awesome Channel Mr Timmy woo!!! Any help is Appreciated 😀😀🇺🇸
Fabulous build from start to finish. I have a few builds my self but, would love to know where can I get a car to build like that. Reply if you can. Thanks.
Thank you very much😊 I compressed because I want the rebound more stiffer and compress softer, but it is highly depending on the track surface and layout. Different track, different settings.
Thank you❣️ I would say both chassis are different, so it should be used on different track and surface. The main difference between ZX and SX3 is the flexibility of chassis and centre of gravity. ZX chassis is featured that is much flexible and low centre of gravity which is providing great rear traction and stability on slippery and low speed surface. While SX3 is performing well for medium grip surface, it provides stability of the chassis for some higher speed track.
@@TimmyWoo nice! Would you share some basic adjustments that you like to use when setting up and tuning your drift cars to different surfaces? I mostly run on polished concrete.
I noticed you spaced your rear lower arms forward with the 2.5mm spacers for 5mm spacing behind it, I assume that means you have to account for that with spacers on the damper balls on the lower arms? can you tell me what size? am I right in assuming just 2.5mm? also what pinion/spur gear set are you running? :) cheers
Thank you! All settings and installation of the chassis, I was following the original instructions. Gear is also original. Pinion gear: 24T Spur gear: 84T
@@TimmyWoo thanks heaps for the reply. Im currently building a YD2E with all the yokomo upgrades, can't wait until I've solved all the minor issues and have it properly dialed in :) and great vis dude keep them coming pls!
hey timmy, Im trying to tune my YD2-E thats fully upgraded with every upgrade available at this stage.. I drift only on slippery polished concrete as a reference.. but I've got two sets of springs the D170 and the new yokomo progressive competition springs, the D170 pink/green feel nice but the rear set has too much weight on them.. so thats why i bought the new spring set.. my question is would I be better running the longer and softer D170 green spring in the front because it offers more lift to transfer weight, or the Linear competition Red spring thats shorter but much firmer? what would you choose? or do you have a spring combination you would recommend. :) cheers
Awesome video bro, very well put together! I want to build a badass rwd drift rc but it will be my first drift build so I don't know much. Any recommendations?
This is my first ever ultimate RC drift build video! Do you like it? Tell me more about your thoughts 😊

Hello from Mt Fuji Japan. Great cinema photography. also that is a very attractive body. subscribed and looking forward to your future productions.
what was the total cost of this build minus the transmitter, receiver, and body?

when you cant afford the real thing...
From the settings you apply to this chassis, I’m 90% sure that the pre-assembled YD-2 used your setup. Thanks you so much for sharing!
where did he show the settings? do you have a link, please?

What liquid did you put the bearings into? Great vid. Subbed! Thx

Nice edit, but very, very wrong shock bleed setup. You must set the piston down side.
