Thanks a million! 11 bodies to paint seems less daunting now!! Excited to lay down my own colors, I got some high end glow in the dark/UV reactives I need to use, going to put in some blacklight L.E.D.'s to make my radiation paints POP!!! Oscar was the name of my first dog. Got him right after I bought my house, I was living the single life with my Schnauzer sidekick lol. And there's something about orange cats... every single orange cat I've come across has an absolutely wonderful demeanor. Other cats... not so much. They look for every opportunity to pretend they like you, just to cut you when you least expect it lol. Thanks for keeping the video real. I was into the hobby years ago and just started pulling stuff out again with my 8 yo son. I'm about to paint a body for my antique Associated RC10 T3 and looking for inspiration. He wants to do American flag colors and I think I'll do it similar to yours but red at the front, white center, and blue on the back. Thanks again!

I look forward to your next video bro! :D
Ayee!! Thanks 👊 appreciate the kind words! Yeah dry erase works so nice. I changed up my design a ton of times so if I couldn't erase would've been so confusing LOL.

Great video and tutorial. I was curious if you have any other videos with other types of masking techniques with liquid mask and liquid/air brush painting? Also where did you get your masking tape and other generic decals for models that dont have premade decals. Thank you.

Been looking to paint a new bodyshell, any chance you know how to do a fade/gradient colour just with using spray paint? I want the 2 colours to overlap each other. Any tips? Because im clueless
Hello! Good question! If it was a drift or lowrider build I wouldn't cut the holes. But for racing for the extra security of holes and clips its worth it for the peace of mind knowing the body can't fly off
Hello! I would recommend the tamiya paint. Has to be PS - polycarbonate approved because the lexan rc body's are very flexible. Normal spray paint like rust- Oleum would Crack and flake off after some hits and movement / flex
Scoring the lexan with an exacto blade on the body lines is the best way to get clean cuts you can see in this video. Also check out my how to cut and install clear windows video I demonstrate this method in that video also! Good luck✌️

complete beginner here. my tt02 had like, silver plastic headlight housings and is led compatible. do i apply the sticker to that plastic housing or the interior when painting?
Hello! I've never had silver headlight housings before always clear and I've had to paint. If yours are already painted then I would apply stickers on the headlight housing then install in body. Hope this helps
Hello, it's painted on inside so it doesent get scratched up. I would not as it won't flex under impacts and use this will lead to cracking paint and chips
For taillights and headlights you leave it clear on the body just tape them off on inside or use provided light Masks. You would paint the light buckets black or silver usually you can install stickers or cut to make actual led bulb fit! Those get mounted inside the body. Leaving the body clear makes you see the light buckets on the inside giving it a realistic tailight appearance. Hope this helps
Deffinately wheelbase Is the most important! If your wheels don't line up will have rubbing and steering issues! Width is good also to match up with your rim offset. If you search your chassis online can usually find the wheelbase and width pretty easy or look in you instruction manual

What was the time between the different layer sprays? An hour or so to slightly dry up or less?
30mins to 1hr depends on how think you did. I'd do light coats and you can tell when it's dry. Once it is spray again
