I love this. Bringing more attention to the hobby is great. Drift, speed runners, bashers, road racing, RC is a fantastic hobby, that is tons of fun, and the entire family can get involved. Loved it back in the 80’s as a kid, and a few years ago got back in full force. Run so many different styles, and build them all up. Thanks for doing this video!
I hope more tracks like this pop up around the US. It's been sad to watch many tracks fade away, would be cool if this brought back some enthusiasm to the hobby. Hopefully some of the remaining tracks/shops get inspired and add this to their offerings and schedules.
Same I love nitro 1/8th but the tracks have dried up everywhere half that survive are garbage and or way out of the way for me even with that I have bought another truck to get back in the hobby

Super G rc drift is the best shop in the game.. I'm in jersey and watch all the rc drift events they do Live on Facebook.. I bought a lot of my upgraded parts for yokomo yd-2e plus.. they r the best in the business

Its so much fun to not just drive your car, but to see it drift through the corners. I got into RC first by building an solid axle 4runner as a scale replica of my 88' 4runner on 36 swampers. Then I got into mudding rc trucks since mudding full scale trucks is like being bounced around inside a vehicle with cocolate covered windows anyway, and crawleing is best done while being your own spotter. And drift since I can actually afford the tires, and I get my kicks on the bike anyway. So I totally get why a drift shop would get into RC drifting as a hobby... after all, you're still drifting.... right? Good show.
SERIOUSLY EVERYONE in the shop should buy/build an RC n do something fun. Little course+comp setup? Im just really curious to see what bodys n styles everyone would pick! J.Chase could build the "worlds 1st Tri-5 drift car" LOL jk. Could be alot of really fun bonus content tho!!
Wow this place changed in the last 4/5 years. Visited from Europe and spend 3 evenings there chillin and trying out their rides. Super cool Dudes and amazing shop. Looks like Hoonigan crew had amazing time there as well
Be advised: This hobby is addictive and will get expensive. My advice Is buy the correct chassis and Save Yourself ALOT OF TIME and headaches. There's nothing worse than thinking you have a proper chassis setup and then realizing it absolutely sucks compared to what these guys are running. I see it all the time and its tough to watch. Do your research before stepping foot here. These guys dont have time to walk you through every step of the way holding your hand unfortunately. It's just how it is...

I think anyone spending that amount of money on a d4 (which is an extremely solid starter) would think they got cool stuff. why try to act superior over plastic toys?
We are here to help anyone who has questions, as well as team members who are experts and are always willing to help as well. A stock RMX 2.0s or YD2 when properly tuned can be very competitive. There is a minimum level of electronics, but nothing close to top of the line pricing. At about $550-$600 for everything, you can be competitive.

Maaan Hert looked like he ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. This brought back so many memories when i used to race 1:10th scale rc nitro racing like 15 years ago now. I absolutely loved it back then and although i dont race any more or use my rc gear i always think about getting back into it. I used to race competitively with a mugen seiki mtx 3, then i got the mtx4 and the mtx5. I used to use Novarossi or Sirio STI engines or murnan modified engines. Such a fucking blast and its great to see ppl still love this shit. I miss the RC hobby heaps tbh I NEED TO GET BACK INTO IT! ...and stop wasting money on my evo 5 and fiesta st :)
R/C is what originally got me into working on real cars. I used to build the kits as a kid, which taught me about how suspension and transmission worked.

Story time I used to live in a shelter with my family and I had a little drift car like this but I got it from kmart and I was swinging it so good I was able to get on the side of a table with the rear wheel. It brought joy to people who were going through a rough time with their kids

I recommend a hsp around $100 if you want a cheap simply rc that eBay has alot a aluminum upgrade parts for cheap but comes with nihm battery,I recommend getting s2-3 lipo batteries with 24-26T motor from eBay. My rc lasted long enough and is awd system. The car is made to handle nihm and lipo s2-3 chassis but the stock motor over heats real quick.
im a nitro and electric fan,but i enjoy the sound and smell of nitro. no one asked,but the rc community is usually very helpful especially if you are new. for sure ask questions.

That is SO cool - love the diarama built around the track, too! Never owned one - it was slot cars when I was a kid - but RC cars are in many ways the ideal 'sport' for the millenials and their olds'. A lot of folks nowadays don't have a full size car - can't afford one, can't park one, can't justify one, or whatever - RC cars are 'reasonably' affordable, can be worked on just about anywhere, allow owners to play around tweaking and modifying them, don't need a parking space, don't need a licence, don't need insurance, don't need a toolbox full of expensive tools, don't need one to pay other people to do the work on them. If my eyesight was better for seeing what I was doing with the little bits, might even be tempted myself - after we get out of lockdown... and I'm not dead ...
Obviously keep real cars the main content, but it is awesome to explore the spin-off hobbies and cultures that the automotive world has made. I've always wanted to get into scale off-road crawler RC but I don't have the money for it, but I do still buy Hotwheels when I walk by them. Most resent purchases include a '65 Mustang 2+2 fastback, Tesla Model 3, '89 Porsche 944 Turbo, '91 Mazda MX-5 Miata, Classic '55 Nomad, and a Formula E Gen 2 car.

Never owned one - it was slot cars when I was a kid - but RC cars are in many ways the ideal 'sport' for the millenials and their olds'.
A lot of folks nowadays don't have a full size car - can't afford one, can't park one, can't justify one, or whatever - RC cars are 'reasonably' affordable, can be worked on just about anywhere, allow owners to play around tweaking and modifying them, don't need a parking space, don't need a licence, don't need insurance, don't need a toolbox full of expensive tools, don't need one to pay other people to do the work on them.
If my eyesight was better for seeing what I was doing with the little bits, might even be tempted myself - after we get out of lockdown... and I'm not dead ...

Obviously keep real cars the main content, but it is awesome to explore the spin-off hobbies and cultures that the automotive world has made. I've always wanted to get into scale off-road crawler RC but I don't have the money for it, but I do still buy Hotwheels when I walk by them. Most resent purchases include a '65 Mustang 2+2 fastback, Tesla Model 3, '89 Porsche 944 Turbo, '91 Mazda MX-5 Miata, Classic '55 Nomad, and a Formula E Gen 2 car.
