yes you can get a car with no money down but the insurance is almost as much or more than the car note once a month.you have to get full insurance ,my cay payments were 210 and the insurance was 270 seriously.I got a cheaper car.

I, too, have a credit score right around 600. Although I have never had any repossessions, it's still tough to find financing at ANY dealership. And they all want at least $8k down payment. It's embarassing to sit there for 3+ hours filling out all their paperwork only to have them publicly humiliate you and tell you later that they can't finance the vehicle you want. I'm done with dealerships and their fees, markup, and BS. Your video has given me hope and confidence in buying from Carvana. At present, they have the vehicle I want. In multiple color choices! All for a reasonable price compared to the stealerships. I'm glad you found the WRX that you wanted!! I hope you are still enjoying it

I believe you represent most people coming into the car purchasing process👍. My situation is similar to yours. I've supported myself since I was 18 years old. I had to scratch and survive to earn two bachelor's degrees and an MBA. I'm only doing better now financially and appreciate the courage it took for you to share your story with us. Like you, I'm beginning to rebuild my credit. I don't regret the past choices I made, even if it meant burning my credit in the process. I just started making 50k a month (i.e. that is correct...$50,000/month, not per year) and yes, I shop at places like carvana/carmax as I worked hard for my education/money and getting a good deal and value is still important to me.
I've been advised to take the vehicle to a local dealership for a diagnostics exam, during the 7 day trial. That way if something is wrong with the car, Carvana should take care of it. So I'm told.

My first impression was to scream at you for taking that loan, but you have to do what works for you and hopefully in the future you can build that credit score back up. Glad you got the car. Read the Automatic Millionaire by David Bach and it will help you have a more peaceful financial life. I was the same way when I was your age, so don't beat yourself up for those missteps.
And people if you pick a car please make sure it's reliable as will you don't want to get stuck with a POS car that you have to make a high interest payments on.
Best way to improve your credit. Join a credit union. Save with them until you have $500. Apply for a secured credit card with your savings as collateral. Pay on time each month. Keep saving and increase your credit limit. It will take a couple of years to make a big difference, but it works. After 2 years I got a car loan with my credit union at a great rate. Banks on line charge a LOT for secured credit cards online. Don't waste your money. Join a credit union. Your savings continues to earn interest too.
My credit score is 630 and I qualified to get a car for 0 down! I found Carvana thru credit karma too. Hey if you’re looking to raise your credit score get a pre paid open sky credit card with 200 limit and don’t use it and pay it on time. My credit went up 60 points just for getting the card! I was shocked and if it wasn’t for that card I would have prob been fucked. You just have to put down a $200 deposit.
Well you should use the card but just keep the utilization to 30% of the credit limit or lower. In the case of a $200.00 limit, spend no more than $60.00 during a billing cycle and pay it in full prior to or on the due date but not before it's had a chance to report to the CB's(Credit Bureaus). Also increase the limit whenever possible. The more available credit one has being used responsibly, the better it looks to prospective lenders and the Bureaus 🏬.

I’m 19 years old and I got approved for $300 down for a 2018 mustang convertible. My score that they pulled was 536 & my interest is high don’t judge me but I’ll definitely refinance soon. My interest was lower than this guy. It was 18%
Congratulations. My first car in '97 , I had 18 percent. I definitely sucked but You're doing it right. Just try to refinance after you get some payments under your belt, OR trade instead of refinancing after 24 mos. or so. But if you do you've got to make sure you don't get taken by what they offer for the trade. Good luck!

Hey how's it going? I live in Appleton too! I got a 2017 subaru wrx sti from capital one finance 2 years ago. It only had 35k miles on it. Well, it ended up needing a new transmission after 10k miles and last year the engine died when it only had 60k miles on it. It turned out that the vehicle I had had an engine defect and Subaru admitted to it. I ended up losing the car because it was mechanically totaled. I just purchased through carvana and put down 6k. Do they fix any issues found during an inspection? Other people are saying when you take your car to a mechanic and find issues that carvana will fix it at no cost. Hey, I didn't have to show them my proof of income. I hope your subaru is doing well, I miss mine. I had a 2017 black wrx sti with the wing. It was stock when it died. This time since I am having a little girl in October, I decided to get a newer Aud q7 loaded. I'm supposed to get it next week Wednesday. I hope I get something that lasts this time. I'm optimistic and have hope with carvana after watching your video. I'm in the appleton area, actually in Kimberly.

I remember when I purchased my mustang from them they have to replace bumpers and side skirts during the time of their limited warranty. Be an authorized user on a credit card, apply for a 250-500 credit card and use it for gas and pay it off every month. Just keep making payments for everything else. After a year I went from 480 to 625

that was added on the carvana financing side it took them 10 business days for my new plates and tags from the WI DMV after I trade in my old car at the process with Carvana

20% inetrest is like $4000 a year interest ( if your vehicle is $20,000 ) for 6 years your interest totals = $24,000. So if you add your $20k vehicle plus the 6 years ineterest rate - your Subaru is worth $44,000 lol. Don’t do it
For a little further clarification, here's what I found on their FAQ: "If you are in a local market, your down payment is due at the time of delivery if you choose to accept the vehicle. Customers outside of a local market will pay their down payment prior to shipping the vehicle." They also verify the availability of the funds before your delivery, and I've read that they need to be able to verify the money is in your account anywhere from 48-72 hours before the scheduled delivery but I can't verify a specific time frame. I read through their response to a customer complaint on the BBB website and they say that basically, once you place an order, an underwiter gets assigned to the order within 72 hours. The order priority is based on how far out the delivery date is scheduled, and the length of time since the order was placed. So basically, if you set a delivery date for one month from when you place the order, I would guess that the underwriting would begin sometime in the week leading up to the delivery, meaning the sooner you can get the funds into your account for verification, the better off you'll be. Once the funds are verified and the delivery is cleared to proceed as scheduled, you could likely even get them to move up your delivery to a sooner date. That's the conclusion I've come to after the last week of research, and it's how I'm approaching my current purchase through Carvana. Hope this info helps you!

If i wanted to re-finance a year later would it be the remaining balance i have left without interest or with interest? My credit isn't good right now so they are giving me a 16.9 Apr and i would have to pay $13,000 extra at the end once i finished paying the full thing off if i stuck with that finance plan with carvana.
@@chrisp7673I would go to a community credit union or local bank to get a lower rate once you get a higher credit score. Carvana uses BridgeCrest as their lender for low and bad credit people.

When you have poor credit you always pay a higher interest rate . You just can’t get around it !

i would not use Credit Karma as they are only credit reporting not a actual lender for Carvana. Carvana uses Bridgecrest as their lender

Be an authorized user on a credit card, apply for a 250-500 credit card and use it for gas and pay it off every month. Just keep making payments for everything else. After a year I went from 480 to 625

They do a soft pull first and then you are ready to finish the purchase then they do a final pull on the credit report

that was added on the carvana financing side it took them 10 business days for my new plates and tags from the WI DMV after I trade in my old car at the process with Carvana

For a little further clarification, here's what I found on their FAQ:
"If you are in a local market, your down payment is due at the time of delivery if you choose to accept the vehicle. Customers outside of a local market will pay their down payment prior to shipping the vehicle."
They also verify the availability of the funds before your delivery, and I've read that they need to be able to verify the money is in your account anywhere from 48-72 hours before the scheduled delivery but I can't verify a specific time frame. I read through their response to a customer complaint on the BBB website and they say that basically, once you place an order, an underwiter gets assigned to the order within 72 hours. The order priority is based on how far out the delivery date is scheduled, and the length of time since the order was placed. So basically, if you set a delivery date for one month from when you place the order, I would guess that the underwriting would begin sometime in the week leading up to the delivery, meaning the sooner you can get the funds into your account for verification, the better off you'll be. Once the funds are verified and the delivery is cleared to proceed as scheduled, you could likely even get them to move up your delivery to a sooner date. That's the conclusion I've come to after the last week of research, and it's how I'm approaching my current purchase through Carvana. Hope this info helps you!

If i wanted to re-finance a year later would it be the remaining balance i have left without interest or with interest? My credit isn't good right now so they are giving me a 16.9 Apr and i would have to pay $13,000 extra at the end once i finished paying the full thing off if i stuck with that finance plan with carvana.
@@chrisp7673I would go to a community credit union or local bank to get a lower rate once you get a higher credit score. Carvana uses BridgeCrest as their lender for low and bad credit people.
