My wife and I recently bought a minivan (2018 Chrysler Pacifica) through #Carvana, and this is our experience and hands-on review.
Update I sadly hit my "limit" of referrals, kinda bogus, so my name and codes don't work anymore. Instead search on Reddit for more codes.

Carvana is an amazing company and very easy to do business with. We ordered a GLA 250 and sadly the truck carrying the car backed into a tree. Did not damage the car just the truck but carvana does not sell cars that have been in accidents. We ordered again and they delivered it with a bouqet of roses and a restaurant gift card for the first mistake.

Carvana's prices seem a little higher than normal dealerships, but with all of the extra stuff that they offer (150 point inspection, additional great warranty, not having to deal with a sleazy dealer, etc.) the extra money to me almost seems worth it, within reason obviously.
Loved my experience. My BMW, after investigating, was previously owned by BMW of North America as a company car for a manager. When I purchased the 2 year old car it had, and I saw in the website photographs, the factory mats still covered in clear plastic and a factory tag hanging from the interior trim that was hooked on before the trim was installed at factory. I have a cream puff. Simply put. All the Carvana employees I spoke to were kind, courteous and professional. No pressure to buy. What a relief and I could check it out for 7 days/400 miles or return it. WOW, try that at a dealer.
I bought mine thru Carvana too and picked it up at the Atlanta location. My car was super clean & smelled brand new. I’ve never been able to get it as clean as they did lol
Did you have to pay for towing or no? And do you Pay the down payment when it arrives or before? Please let me know, I’m thinking of buying my first car being a Hyundai Genesis from carvana. 😁
I sold my truck private party for over $12,000 more than they offered. Still bought from Carvana because there are no quality vehicles anywhere.

The main conversation about buying an over-priced used car like this should be about the extended warranty offered and how well it protects the buyer. I’ve purchased from Carmax and I guarantee you the only lasting impression and important part of the purchase is the extended warranty coverage.
+You stated 400 mile warranty, actually it's 4000+ mile warranty. Congratulations on your car purchase and thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Yes, I agree with you, the Carvana business model will be the dominant way that consumers will be purchasing vehicles within this decade.

Got my Murano from Carvana.. I was looking at Muranos or Outbacks..it truly was the easiest car buying experience. My 1st choice was an Outback. Got it, took it to a mechanic, they found rust underneath. Called Carvana, they picked it up, no questions asked. I left a copy of the mechanics inspection detailing rust inside the car..
Found a Murano, 1 owner, EXCELLENT price, great miles, fully loaded,.. grabbed it!! Got it home, took it to a mechanic for inspection. Was told I got a great deal. I’ll only use Carvana going forward.
When buying a used car (from anyone), have it checked out... CYA(cover your assets)..
I will say there was a lengthy delay receiving my tags..
when you said get a used car and send it to a mechanic within the 7 day complimentary period what would I say to the mechanic? would I say something along the lines of “i am test driving this used car and thinking of buying it, could you perform an inspection on the car and let me know of any problems and if it’s worth the purchase?” would an average mechanic understand, or would I need to be more specific?

Wanted to go through Carvana but once I saw the offer I had for a trade in I said no. How are you supposed to determine the price of my vehicle if you refuse to see it in person?
The compelling advantage to Carvana is the 7-day return and 400 mile test drive. Other than this, caveat emptor applies, and buyers should be very diligent. The Carvana inspection is proving to be no more than a decent cleaning, and thus unreliable.

How do I learn more about their warranty? That's one of my big concerns.
Did you get your permanent plates right away, or was it a temp?
You get temp plates and have to get some forms notarized and then mail to them (pre-paid envelope). Then they process it and you pick them up at the local DMV.

Do their cars have state titles from the state you buying from? And do they give you temp tags?

Just bought a 2012 BMW 535i M Sport through Carvana, I’m having it delivered this Saturday. Really nervous as it’s a BMW and I’m buying it sight unseen but I know that if I don’t like it they’ll let me pick something else. Plus I got the warranty with the car.
Overall the process was easy minus having to call Experian to have a fraud alert removed which delayed my purchase. After that it was a breeze.

@@pappamanny19 I financed it. I also returned the BMW because it was a POS. Leaked oil, burned oil, interior was spray painted to cover up the worn leather panels. Car was trashed. I gave it back to them after I removed all of the spray paint on the inside. I had them bring me a 2015 VW GTI after they came back for the BMW

I'm interested in the easy buying experience but I don't know... the prices on the vehicles that I'm looking at seem to Faithfully be a thousand to 1500 or more than local dealers in my experience so far. But they claim to bypass a lot of the overhead fees that dealers usually have. Am i missing something?

No, that's not true, it has worked across state borders.
I'm becoming a Carvana Advocate (delivering these cars). Is there anything us Carvana Advocates can do to make the delivery experience better?
In June 2020, I brought a car from Jeep Grand Cherokee Carvana without hitch. In Sept, 2020, I brought another car from Carvana (Kia Forte) for my daughter. Carvana was suppose to register the Kia, but due to the pandemic, registration was going to take a while. When I finally got the registration for the Kia, I find that Carvana transfer the car registration and plates from my Jeep to her Kia. I informed Carvana of their mistake in December and as of date they have not rectify the situation. Carvana has offered no solution or real compensation for their mistake. They tell me it will take 43 days for DMV to give me a new title for my Jeep since Carvana misspelled my name on the title and I can't re-register the Jeep on-line. Carvavna did offer me a measly $250 to use for either a uber or lyft car to get me back and forth to work and things I needed to take care of, and won't reimburst me for a rental> I would steer clear of buying a car from Carvana. Stick to your local dealerships.
Hi I’m seriously looking into buying from Carvanna , will definitely mention your name as well, I have a question though,... Can I bring my own insurance ?to them at the time of purchase as long as I present them with the requirements such as what they mentioned comprehensive/&collision full coverage? Because I’m financing.
I have a question, so let’s say I live in Minnesota and I go through their service and buy a vehicle just like you, when I finally end up getting plates and registration and let’s say the title with the lienholder on it or the bank name on it, will the title be in my state? Or will it be the state of where ever that car came from. Let’s just assume comes from Texas, will I get A Minnesota title? Or a Texas title? If anyone has done this feel free to chime in and let me know what you got in the end as far as the title and plates and any kind of paperwork? Thank you for the great video by the way, very awesome.

is it true if you decline their extended warranty you still have a 100 day warranty the comes with vehicle?
I bought a 2017 Ford scape 3 months ago and the transmission is already damaged. I have to pay 4K of my own money because it turns out that the same day the vehicle was damaged was the same day the warranty expired

Expect delivery delays and reschedule . The reason was didn’t have any drivers. If you can wait for it do it.
So if you decide to return the car what happens to the loan? Goes away by itself? You never pay a dime?
When you finance it do you put a down payment and test drive it and if you don’t like they’ll refund your money?
How was the finance part? Did you have to put too much down?
I got my car from there, I will never go to a dealer ever again!

I am thinking using Carvana. Of the 32K spent on your car how much was the total when all said and done? Curious if they really beat local car dealerships.
I recently returned a car after my 7-Day trial and let me tell you... I messed that transmission up 🤦🏿♂️ I hope they do that 150 point inspection before heading it off to the next person but I use the manual feature and it didn't go well. I returned the car because I did not like how they structure of the loan! My plan was to pay the car off in 2 years but the loan was for 5 years so the interest rate was locked in. So if I paid the car off in 2 years I would still have to pay the for five year interest rate and it didn't work for me.
How is the wording that states that you still had to pay the total interest ?

That $100 you get as a kickback is illegal in some states. It’s called a “bird dog fee”. Specifically illegal for a car dealer to do in certain places…
Not really a kickback.. he's referring them to their company. It's a win win . Nobody buying anything unless they want

thx for all info i been thinking about buying a car thur carvana myself cause with my job as over the road truck driver the the last thing i want to do is spend day going to dealerships to look for car then when you find one you fill out credit app then wait for lot manger to approve it then they go to loan officer to approve then you waite for lender to come back with approval then come time to sing all the mountain of paperwork it really suck cause u spent like 4 to 5 hours waiting on all bs

Great company. That is why several states are putting them on probation and threatening to shut them down because they are not delivering title deeds.
Just got a suv from carvana, better then stress of regular dealers & happy with Suv but 1 neg why with only 9k miles did they put New Garbage Nexen Summer Tires on it, is beyond me. Will keep the suv but now have to go spend $700 on new all season tires. Also delivery guy was great

Have you had a hard time of getting plates I do the dmv said I wasn't in the system so my car has been sitting for two days now from expired plates and they say they can't give me more when it's there fought why I'm not in the system yet

As long as Carvana has issues with getting permanent plates and registration, they will have problems.
Gotta love those temporary license tags out of state for their cars.
I only care about one thing the most. Is there haggling and do you get a good value for your money.. Not mentioned just sounds like a commercial
Go to a dealer if you want to haggle. If you like being bent over and spanked, go through Carvana.

So far it's been a complete waste of time for me. They are apparently incapable of sending the proper insurance forms. Either they don't send them at all, or they're improperly filled-out so my insurance company won't accept it.
