That's right, my friends. Wether through PvP or negotiation, we were determined to find and recruit every single ship on our server so that we can make as much money as possible on Community Day!

As a new player I had to see the ridiculous payouts of Community Day for myself to believe them... I got from Merchant rep 0 to 42 in two hours. And 700k gold to boot. Absolutely nutty

other ship: attacks first
cliff: deals with them with no issue and gives them serval chances (although unheard by them) to stop
other ship: continues attacking despite wanting an alliance
cliff: calls in artillery
other ship: learns that they have a keyboard and uses it to beg for mercy
Yeah some people don't realize you can chat, and some people just don't have a headset or want to speak with the public. Me and my crews use steam voice chat instead so we can hear each other no matter where we are

@@brittanyhuffman3701 I also find a lot of the time when PC players talk to xbox players half of the time the VC won't work. So it has to be done through texts, my roommate plays on xbox and I play on PC, we have to do an xbox chat call to hear each other though because the in game VC glitches or something I don't really know. But that's typically when the issue comes around I've found out

I love this content with its style of just telling what happened and how it’s more of a story and not just “I killed a ship then we got sunk” it’s much more entricate and this has inspired me and my friends to grind for pirate legend ourselves

Just made a three ship alliance last night while playing with a friend, the profits were a sight for sore eyes and we had tons of fun doing it. I love this game
Thats the story of nearly every one of my play sessions with my friends. We always seek a server alliance for that sweet downpour of gold. Youre lucky you didnt encounter a crew that decided to betray the alliance and start scooping everyone's emissary flags
I put my bets on the occasion of community day giving people a reason to want to alliance and stay allianced, otherwise I'd be VERY worried about betrayal as well

As soon as I was playing community day I knew a master piece was being made.
3 brigs all in the same discord and on the same server made me over 8 million that day by stacking for gold rush for a total of 3X gold. This was over 16 hours of gameplay so everyone was delirious with joy and exhaustion at the end

I’m a low level on sea of thieves and so one time I joined on a sloop and met a guy with the title pirate legend he helped me by doing the legend of the veil and helped get me around 240,000 gold :D

That's me and my friend. We're actually quite new to the game. We just had a friend that is a pirate legend put all of the ship cosmetics on lol. I saw the dog subscribe (which I have done by the way) but I had no idea I'd be in a youtube video! I was the guy with the ashen belt lol. We both had a great time and were both very greatful we ran into you

I was wondering how long an episode like this takes to record, because either you are really skilled at the game or you do like 12 hour sessions to make this sort of great content.
The recording part? Average session is 4-7 hours. Once I have the gameplay I can usually make a video in about 2 days
@@CliffTheStoryGuy This is what is I love and hate about this game. To get a cool story generated you need that kind of time and that kind of dedication to the game to get these kinds of stories out of it. It's not just a hobby. It s a second job.

Good to see you were having fun on community day Mr and my mates planned to farm fotd but after doing it once after we placed the second skull the fort did not active we had 12 skulls to get it set up and then it decided to do that but oh well there's always next season there's always next season

it only took me until my 10th re-watch of this video to realize the brig at the start was an Athena ship. no wonder they didn't change their tune until after you started reasoning with them
i remember making our first 5-boat, we rotated through random people and kept the server active for 4 days
That was the greatest experience for us that day when we formed an entire alliance server. We had 4 ships doing Fort of the Damned and we all made over 2million gold.
Bro I did 4 fotds with my friends and had to wait 20 minutes after selling before I was finally given a very u expected 1.8 million gold. Also I love ur vids man keep it up!
