*Sorry for the confusion about the price on Cookbook 3.0. It is $199 for the ebook + the cookbook and that is what pops up first on his sales page, so that was the price that was on my mind that entire day. It is $149 for the e-book only.
Try my meals bro
You don’t gotta explain it’s all trash anyways. Glad to see Remington still thriving and you still starving
@@QuietSquirrelClipsRide his meat more

@@QuietSquirrelClipshe’s literally eating in the video…don’t think he’s starving.
Best part is I have multiple books at various price points. Also it is 199 for the hardcopy. 149 for pdf. And if you bought it before u get it for 50% off. My 1st cookbook is 49.99. In thevend purchase whichever or whoever’s book you want. Not everyone can afford the newest one. 800$ or 100$ shoes both work and people can but whichever they want.
Wish you would’ve tried this mushroom risotto or the strawberry cheesecake those are my new 2 favourites.
Thanks for making the review
Would you say he reviewed this Worse than last time?
Are you gonna make a video on his video faster then last time?
Is the strawberry cheesecake actually strawberry cheesecake or is it chocolate pudding?
50% off if you bought the first one?? That's awesome!!
@@sarahh2072bro you’re paying the exact same price as the first one and think you’re getting some kind of deal 😂😂😂
The fact anyone even charges $200 for a cookbook is borderline offensive, no one has that much money to drop on an e-book at all.
Dude a ton of people can. A lot of people casually spend 200-300 dollars taking their family to dinner every now and then. And this cookbook is an investment becasue you’ll have it forever and it’ll tremendously help you with losing weight/maintaining a healthy physique
@@lukeharris2622 oh man... no, it's a BS investment to spend 200 dollars for a cookbook, regardless if you can or can't afford it.
Ridiculous.
There are very many that can easily do this.
It's not that people don't have it. Even if they had it you can buy many books and more recipes for that much
For other books on the market, it is a higher price point for sure, however there are so many gyms that charge $100 (or more) for one hour of in person training and after 2 hours the book has paid for itself. I think exercise is important to physique goals, but if you dont know what you are doing in the kitchen then you can make your journey much more difficult or take years longer which the price of the book would easily make up for. As mentioned, most people go out to eat 1-2 times a week and easily spend that in 1-2 weeks.
There also several coaches in many different niches that charge 500-1000 dollars for one hour on skype. 95% of people would think that is a total rip off, but I have personally paid for a couple of these sessions and the ROI has paid for itself 10 fold.
Haven’t even finished watching the vid but when I saw you and Iron Musket reviewing Greg’s cookbook my anxiety was off the chart as if it were my cookbook. You guys are brutally honest and I love it.😅
I'mma be real, $150 for a cookbook that provides mostly above-average foods and needs more updates than a modern triple-A video game on release day seems like a big ripoff to me. I think I'll stick with either pirating it or just looking up free recipes on UA-cam.
i believe almost all cookbooks are rip offs

You both are great together. More of this!
French toast rice cake? Greg's just fucking with us now.
I appreciate the foundational knowledge I gained from Greg during the 1.0 days and I really used only a handful of specific kinds of ideas from him and all from his UA-cam videos & not the book itself. From what I saw in 2.0 it left the "bodybuilder's can't cook!" phase and grew into something that seemed more reasonable to your average circle. Power 13 added some pinnache on the end and a nice range. Frankly rather than see a new full book I feel this should have been an addendum and maybe he could offer other bundles. It feels like he's pricing himself out when so many want things to be easier, not just "lower calories". I personally can't see myself making any of the dishes selected for this video for myself (no diss to others) and the ingredients and process were a little too wonky for me to feel that a non-zealot would follow this for too long before paring back. Of course I could get Remington's book and have 60 new crispy chicken sandwich recipes that are 1% different from one-another so I guess the field has thinned a bit.... Nick & Josh ... you guys are regular troopers. Repect!
A year subscription to Masterclass is less than $100. Masterclass.
One AAA game that take years and 100’s of employees to make and provides hours of content is $70
A cookbook worth more than $100 is insane
Hey Nick, just a heads up but up here in Canada Fat Free Cheese is basically only in square form and the leanest ground beef you can easily get is 91/9. Greg drains it to remove some fat, it’s not just water removed.
Correct
Because you’re so funny, and so good together it’s terrible because you guys don’t share a channel or don’t do more videos together. You guys are great together.
For $149 he should be able to afford someone to look over his recipes and make sure things add up and aren’t missed 🙄
I was dying at the dessert set up.
Nick: "So dessert?"
IM: "So lasagna with syrup?"
I'm dead 😂😂😂
Good to see these two together again!
They are soo cringe 😂
I’ll never buy a cook book from Greg after he charged 200 bucks to give me a recipe for a ham and cheese sandwich.
Really? A ham and cheese sandwich? I'd be furious.
Ive been watching you since the “poo review” video on Greg. Always appreciate the effort you put in and the quality of your recipes. I have a folder full of anabolic recipes from all over the internet and cook books such as yours, and your recipes make up probably 40% of what i eat in any given week throughout the year. Thank you and keep doing great things!
I remember finding you and iron musket and enjoying both of your channels. It made my day when you two started doing videos together. love the videos, keep up the good work.
The 200 $ price is very high (applies to both this and the previous cookbook), you could get multiple good cookbooks for that price, or some solid kitchenware
Seriously, especially when there's better recipes online for free
Its for the HARD COPY
@@Vincent_Beersthen why are you still fat? 74% of people are overweight or obese. Which are you? I’d assume not fit and lean if you need a cookbook.

i can't even with greg anymore lol
I find Greg really annoying now all his videos are clickbait now and he doesn't even talk about Fitness it's like drama all the time. And he's always like advertising his products and like every video he even said in another video that his number one goal in life was to make million dollars

When I was a kid, my mom used to make something called squashanya-- the household had allergies to wait so she’s substitute zucchini for the noodles. But kept the rest of the recipe the same for classic lasagna.
It was a very soupy dish due to the zucchini having being a high water content non-starchy vegetable.
However, the zucchini took on the flavors of all the other ingredients, so it was actually delicious. Just a texture change.
Apologize for any typos, you’re using Siri as I’m walking a dog 🐕

I had to unsubscribe from greg. He’s 100% about the money. I am not interested in his content anymore and his recipes aren’t worth it. Thanks for the review. It just reinforced my opinion.
I like him but the repeated g02 max advertisements are really starting to get on my nerves 😂
He's just yelling in 99% of his vids it's so grating to listen to

I 100% agree with you. I used to watch him and liked his videos especially the ones with Ally but I cant stand watching him anymore. I still have to him credit his older videos helped me a lot to lose the last 20lbs and keep it off for two years.
I want you guys to do another collab cook book again. That was cool.
Thank you Iron Musket for calling Nick on his point whatever stuff lmao
I love bro, but his rating system was funny 😂
all of your videos are great, but you being extra goofy and fun in this one made it stand out; it’s amazing to see how you are so comfortable with your self and friend
That price tag is wild, cool-daddy Greg is off his rocker for that alone😂😭
It's so fun to me the fact that people go so emotional about Greg's business decisions, he can charge whatever he wants. Will rational people pay that amount for a PDF? Maybe if they can afford it
but the rest will not. Me personally being from a shithole thirld world country will not buy it, instead I bought a stringer that it wasn't cheap but I'm so grateful for the knowledge that Greg give out so it was the way for me to show some appreciation for ending a fifteen years battle against obesity and lacking serious muscle mass.
A few changes i made. Substitute ground beef for ground turkey. Nobody can tell & Nobody gaf.
Zuchini is 90% water. Get rid of the zuchini & you wont have a ton of water at the bottom of the pan.
Like a meatloaf, diced onion provides enough moisture to the recipe without leaving a sloppy mess. And i substitue water for non fat beef or chicken broth. Hope these suggestions give you ideas for a new test recipe. And i aint gonna call you out like you did with Rem!😂
Until I discovered Greg.. I had no idea how to prep low-cal high protein meals! can't wait for this new 3.0 CB to hit the torrent sites.
You had never heard of steak before?
How is nobody commenting on the iconic logo that dangled in the upper right corner?! Nicely played
As someone going on a weight loss journey with my spouse I find that E4CM is my favorite person to listen to and follow his recipes, I’ve tried will and Greg’s videos but I’ve noticed both shame you with jokes and I get it but I’m not gonna buy someone’s cookbook who’s a dick. I’ve already made probably 6-7 recipes out of your cookbook and I’m proud everytime I get a happy family member eating my pan pizza!!!
Iron Musket is DA GOAT
🤝
I love you guys please keep collabing!!
The fact that he calls it a cookbook is ridiculous. Most of the stuff in there has been on the net for like a decade.
Fantastic collaboration!
Soon as I saw Iron Musket pop in, I knew this was gonna be a great vid. You guys are great!
🤝
I've been making Greg's lasagna on a weekly basis for a while now with the following changes. Low fat ricotta cheese, not cottage cheese. Oven ready lasagna noodles, not palmani. You can get a box of either ronzoni or Barilla for about $3 a box, instead of spending 12 bucks. Yes the calories are a bit higher but the taste is infinitely better, and it doesn't fall apart. I prefer ground turkey two beef, but either one will work. I do drain the meat, but I don't put in the water. I usually get at least six servings. And Josh nice to see you again on camera rather than just making funny comments on Will's videos!😅
You could try lunch meat slices instead of pasta. That’s what I do.
hearts of palm are so gross so i dont blame you. Pasta is perfect aint no way Im eating that garbage
Weird since there is LOW FAR RICOTTA CHEESE IN THE COOKBOOK so why say its cottage cheese when its not?
@@gregdoucette I think I was referring Nick's recipe not yours. I've always made it with low-fat ricotta cheese as per your cookbook. But it's 12 days ago so I honestly don't remember
@@gregdoucette so I just checked the video again, and Nick is using cottage cheese. So that's what I was referring to. You really got to ask him why he's using Cottage cheese...
I suggest replacing swerve with stevia without erythritol due to erythritol increased blood clot formation risk
Gotta side with Musket on this one. In a rating system, some feelings are gonna get hurt so if something is a 7.3, it’s a 7.
Love the video, I wanna make that Mac and cheese and yours to compare side by side
I really enjoy Greg's advice, but the price is pretty much stopping me from getting his cook book. As someone who's part Italian I agree that all Italians love lasagna, I do however thing you need to put some of the water into your sauce jar or cans to get the rest of the sauce out. Lasagna needs to rest or else it gets super watery when you cut it. So it needs to rest about 10 minutes.
Same but there’s already recipes for stuffs that he had on his menu or something similar on the internet
@@Bubble23428 Ah I see
You could replace the chocolate with vanilla in the French toast and make it more traditional.
Might I say, the Boston creams-

It is madness buying anyone's cookbook as there are so many great sites with great videos and recipes for free.
NGL, the review makes your own cookbook look another 5x better lol! I know Greg really tried and made some massive improvements 4 sure. Some of his recipes are still pretty unique and I'll prob try that Pulmone pasta thing...But that's after I get your cookbook first haha ;)
Miss you guys
Good job with the video. It was really entertaining. All the best and keep them coming. 🎉🎉

I 89.045% agree with what you just said
Sorry dude. Comparing it to other things like bs personal training at some gym isn’t a fair comparison. I paid for the original cookbook and was extremely disappointed. I only ended up making one recipe from it for a few months and it was already a free recipe he demonstrates on his channel. I fell for his “best lifting book ever” also and was also extremely disappointed. Considering you guys have collaborated on so many projects I can’t really expect objectivity here. Not mad at ya, but that’s what I think. Also, tell Greg it’s not very nice to not give an extremely steep discount or free updates for those that bought his original book. His discounts were sub par considering it’s people like me that helped him become who he is today. Don’t hate all his products but cmon.
I hate to say it, but why pay for the book when the recipes are free on the channel? I guess ppl just like to financially support these creators, which is fine but imo I can’t justify buying those cookbooks when the recipes are literally free.
@@Gojo-u6f when I bought Greg’s first cookbook he only had 1-3 recipes demonstrated on his channel, one of which I only cared about trying (anabolic pancakes)
Ik a lot of online trainers ask for like $600/hr for personal training, which is ridiculous especially when it’s the same body building lifts (squats, deadlifts, chest press. Just Google “how to build muscle with workouts”. You will save so much money. And every trainer has literally the same compound lifts in their program so there’s no point in paying their outrageous prices.
Nick,
Not sure if it’s in the pipeline. But I’ve had protein doughnuts at some of these fitness focused cafes. ( specifically, The Health Nut in Edinburg TX)
Bro, you’ve got dough centric recipes down to a science. With some sort of glaze. This is something you got to put out!!!
First video here, this was crazy entertaining 😂❤️ love the banter between you two!
Does the cookbook have a high number of recipes, or is it a few recipes with a bunch of variations (eg one donut dressed up ten different ways)…
Nick is like 10 levels above of Greg in the kitchen 💀
Im two months late but the banter in this video was delightful
Swap out the cottage cheese for low fat ricotta cheese. Much bolder flavor. Also, don’t add the water; the zucchini will sweat enough to bring that moisture into the dish.
Greg always has a bike race in 5 mins. 😆
This is why I don’t buy cookbooks from a body builder non chef who claims to make healthy foods that taste like everyday foods it’s just not it
I love Greg Doucette for the foundational information, but i really think he would benefit from some cooking classes, some fundamentals would go a long way and I think he would become an even better anabolic cook. Think thats why i like your recipes the most because you can really see the influence from real recipes.
As a dog owner of someone else has my dog I can confirm that I ask them about the poop😂
Fat free ricotta will probably be way better on that lasagna vs fat free cottage cheese.
Greg is like that guy who said if you can't see your abs your fat he literally has ab anxiety so he doesn't want it eat anything that's fat so he doesn't cook with oil even though it would help make everything tastes better even though it's only 45 Cal
He just prefers to get his fats from sources that are filling and healthy. The 45 calories adds up over time (example you add 45 calories of oil 5 meals a day and suddenly you have eaten 225 more calories and dont feel any fuller)
Why cook it with oil if you will like it almost as much without it and are trying to maintain/cut a certain fat%? He still eats good fats from salmon etc just not unnecessary ones
also
kind of scammy adding old recipes to a new cookbook
the first recipe you made isn't even a new recipe, its from his other cookbook lol. Not the power 13
In this case it does make sense though since he offers 50% off for previous buyers, so you are essentially only paying for the new recipes. In this case 60 new recipes for $75.
Anyone got a free download link for Greg's new cookbook?
In my area, ground beef is significantly pricier than ground turkey, so I'd get it for that reason.
I saw Greg putting fat-free singles on his lasagna man this man is afraid to eat anything high-calorie even though he burns like probably 2000 calories a day just doing bike races
The point is to make low calorie food so why would he put high calorie things in his food 🤠
@@juliusvirtasalo well even if he put normal cheese on it be like in the huge calorie deficit from the amount of cardio he does literally nobody put Kraft singles on lasagna that's kind of low-key gross lol
Musket is wrong. You need decimals for precision. Why do you think it’s used in the first place. Nick all the way. A 7 isn’t just a 7 but it’s not an 8 or 6
Anyone who complains about the price doesn't buy books regularly and doesn't know how much a good hard cover can be
$149 for a cookbook is a55 straight off the bat
If you are going to rate recipes you should try and stay as true to the recipe as possible. Might be more helpful for those trying to decide whether to buy this cookbook.
So does the 3.0 cookbook contain everything in the 2.0 and 1.0 version?
Yes plus 60 extra recipes. Previous purchasers got an email for 50% off the new cookbook though.
How can a cookbook that costs 200$ have errors in almost every recipe you reviewed? Actual joke
"I will not do that blasphemy of putting fat free slices on top of lasagna"
[Proceeds to put cheddar on top]
I feel like his cookbook is either for notorious big meal eaters or those who are prepping for the bodybuilding stage
I’ve tried all his cookbooks except 3.0 and still to this day I can barely eat any of his recipes without losing a ton of weight really fast. And no, that’s not a good thing to me to lose 3lbs a week even though each meal is painful to finish 😂 I had a food baby after every meal (so all day long). If you want to maintain your fat and gain muscle, it’s probably not the right cookbook for your goal. But it’s amazing for very fast fat loss 👌 I’m grateful that it got me to my goal, but I don’t want to be at my leanest again in the future. Between 14-18% is where I’m staying 👍
$199 for a cookbook on fitness recipes? hard pass bro...
Draining the meat and then adding water means the meat will remain juicy but you will take off the excess fat out of it as simple as that
Musket! An original dude!
🤝
7 is the worst number to pick on a scale from 1-10, it's like on the fence between 6 or 8, very indecisive. Never pick 7, it's either a 6 or an 8.
do we need to face focus and zoom in on burps 😂
I wish in videos like this people would follow the recipe exactly
80% of the recipes are just repeats from previous cookbooks. Kind of annoying but hey, water under the bridge. My way of supporting him
It’s not a sequel, it’s a new version. It’s not supposed to be completely different, it’s supposed to be an improvement on the original.

I agree with musket, your rating system is wild.
I like your warped pot
I would buy cream 49 just to support Greg, at some point you just consider it a donation for the content and the recipes are a bonus.
Your video: very enjoyable like always👌 the cookbook: massive waste of money. I can’t imagine people buying that shit for 200 dollars while all the recipes are on youtube anyway. What I also can’t imagine is someone paying another 200 dollars after buying the 1.0/2.0 version just to realize that all the recipes are almost the same but with different sources of protein/ carbs😅
200 for a pdf not even a hard copy book. But most insane is people actually buying it.
