What do you think about WHO saying to avoid sweeteners? I noticed you use alot of sweeteners in ur recipes

    • @Exercise4CheatMeals
      @Exercise4CheatMeals  11 місяців тому

@@subzero6860 They actually just state they aren’t useful for weight control or to reduce risk of diseases. They don’t state they are having a negative effect on your health.
And as someone who makes ice creams and sweet treats and works with clients and has literally heard the 100s of testimonials saying these recipes caused massive weight loss and some reversing their diabetes/high blood pressure/hyperlipidemia, I have to disagree.
You can even just look on creami forums about the success stories of ppl losing weight strictly because of eating ice creams every night that they replaced their ben n jerrys pints with.
      Per WHOS website:
“The World Health Organization (WHO) has released a new guideline on non-sugar sweeteners (NSS), which recommends against the use of NSS to control body weight or reduce the risk of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).”

The pizza is incredible! I shared some with a buddy who rejects anything that tastes remotely articial / "diet food" tasting. We were both amazed at how similar it tasted to Lou Malnati's while being half the calories and surprisingly filling.

Gotta say I appreciate the recipes, they've definitely been inspirational (I'm almost down 90 lbs in 2 years, kept most of my strength)
and definitely helped me think outside the box of cooking
Lately I've been eating this Detroit style pizza (that's no where near as good, but I'm not picky)
Makes 6 slices of relatively thick Detroit style
    200g water
    4g yeast
1/8th tsp sugar (for the yeast)
    NO SALT!!
10g-5g oat fiber (based on how absorbent your flour ends up being)
    30g flour - I use 00 King Arthur Pizza
90g vital wheat gluten (yes lol)
Mix it all in a stand mixer until it's mostly combined
Let rest in bowl in fridge overnight or for an hour or two somewhere room temp
Pull it out, stretch it out a bit, salt both sides, place it into your detroit style pan (brush the pan with light butter spread)
Blind bake for a bit so it can rise, then sauce and top and bake until desired doneness
    Macros of Crust:
    ~460 cal / 72g protien
The sauce is just fire roasted muir glen with salt, garlic and italian seasoning
The cheese I use is low fat mozz with the best macros I could find
    Generally get about 80g+ protein,

I think this is the natural evolution of "anabolic cooking". Greg is mostly assembling pre-made stuff (no hate there, but it's clear he doesn't know a lot about cooking) whilst Nick is mostly doing things from scratch (and learning new techniques by the day). As a former chef, I absolutely love how this "scene" is getting more and more professional, with Nick and leading the way. This type of content, both tasty, anabolic and low calorie is unique to him. I wonder what would happen if Nick partenered with professional chefs expert in their own field (pastry chef, pizza chef, baker, etc.). It'd be like the Industrial Revolution for the fitness industry.

Hey! First of all, thank you for purchasing!
I am sorry you are having trouble navigating the book in Safari. I am talking to my book designer about this, but I would recommend saving the book to your phone either in your files or the Books app.
When a new version comes out, I download it, which opens in Safari. I then save to files right away. Lastly, I just type in the book in my search or just tell Siri to open Diet Cheat Codes and it opens instantly. I navigate the entire book through the Table of Contents because the whole book is clickable from there and have never had an issue getting to any part of the book. When you need to get back to the Table of Contents, just click on "Diet Cheat Codes" at the top of each page.
When there is an update with new recipes, I delete the old cookbook from my files and repeat the download/save to files process I outlined above. It only takes a minute each time and makes it much easier to access the book in just a few taps.

      Yoooo Beatbox.
I go 1g per lb of lean body mass for anyone near/over 200 lbs. I have had plenty of clients in that range and, as an example, there is no benefit to 300g of protein for someone who is 300lbs, etc.
I definitely don’t recommend 1600 calories for many people either. Only if they have experience dieting and have experimented with a higher end calorie deficit (1%) with success before and/or depending on the clients bodyweight/activity level.
This is what works well for me, but the point of the video is more that, even with a small amount of total calories, you can eat like a king.

Hey man I was roughly the same weight and managed to get 1600 calories with like 225 grams of protein, it’s definitely doable just gotta explore your options. My diet consisted of a lot of eggs, cottage cheese, chicken sausage, and tuna. And I supplemented with protein powder or the occasional protein bar to get me over the hump. Not many carbs and had to learn along the way, realistically it’s pretty dang hard to make it work without spamming ultra protein rich foods. But if you do try, still maintain a normal level of fat intake for hormone production, so you will actually see results lol. Good luck man

The difference between this deep dish dough an really others is the process that makes the dough, I think your dough here is way less hydration then a normal deep dish, witch ur hydration matters a lot when makin pizza not hating on the recipe just think it could use some improvements to make it better, because in my eyes pizza is art, an it’s never fully done, until ur satisfied with what pizza ur creating !! I say this because for me at least I always love a high hydration dough, especially for a deep dish because it gives u a crispiness like no other, because of the extra water content in the dough !

Hey Genius! Yeah, per serving there may be a 10-30 calorie difference which is negligible especially when considering the fact I eat a majority of the servings over several days. There are usually easy way to mitigate that too, like for the muffins I weigh out the batter to the gram so every muffins is the same becisdes maybe one or two mini chocolate chip difference or blueberries, which is really splitting hairs. I just add calories to the end of my day/overestimate to make up for anything I may have missed.

20lbs in 5 weeks is 4lbs/week, implying a 2000 calorie deficit, which at 1600 calories a day puts you at nearly 3600 calories a day. The majority of people who will need this cookbook won't need that many calories a day and you not contextualizing that a good portion is water weight and your activity level might set the wrong expectations. For your own health, I hope you graduate from the low fat/higher carb/highly processed foods and ingredients you use and adopted from Greg.
There's more than one way to have a low bodyfat percentage than this type of diet/lack of nutrition.
Learn more about all different types of foods and consume less inflammatory foods for your long-term health.
I know what you learned from Greg helped you in many ways with both weight and foods from where you were at (and giving you direction for your own channel) but I hope you inform yourself more and improve once again.

      Hey Thomas!
I appreciate you watching and for the concern. I would not be able to sustain this “perfect” diet model certain influencers like to talk about. You ever notice the many dietician’s that preach this stuff have a bmi EASILY over 30? Why is that? Because they can’t sustain it either.
Everything is being vilified and it’s absolutely insane. I tried doing this ideal diet and failed, a ton of times. Lets also not forget besides some chocolate chips and a bun, all of these meals were made from literal scratch. My fiber was in the upper 30s/low 40s if I remember correctly as well. I feel great, my blood markers are on point, and all of these meals I made with my own two hands.
I just don’t agree that everything you eat needs to be picked from the ground with your own two hands and that if you dont hit every micro or macro that ur on a terrible path.
This diet works for me and has for years. I have never been able to sustain my weight for any length of time or purposefully bulk up and cut down ever in my life until now. Its was always dirty bulking or “clean” cutting then binge cycles on repeat.
There are millions and millions of people who have lived on these processed foods for a majority of their life and dont workout, yet they are still alive. Im not saying thats ideal by any means, but giving an example how people are still living to old age even with all these so called inflammatory and toxic, chemical ridden foods. In my opinion people get way too caught up in the details.
I lift weights, do cardio, and make a majority of my meals from scratch minus a few ingredients. And I definitely indulge in treats when I feel like it. If that’s not your style, totally cool. We can just have a disagreement and keep it moving.
Again, thanks for stopping by and I wish you the best brother!

I think there is something wrong with yout life if you need to diet down for a wedding. No offence, just trying to say that wedding for me personally should be like happy event for you and your partner but not something like bodybuilding competition where you need to be shredded and impress others.

dude I like your recipes but you gotta stop using that Morton's Iodized Salt crap. Use sea salt and for the love of God Velveeta isn't cheese. Hard to take you seriously, especially when you start drinking and promoting energy drinks. Makes me have to ask where did you actually get your degree in nutrition? Just being honest.

Bro...... Cringe king........ Taking you calories down to 1600 cal a day is insane. That is why you are not stacking more muscle. Stuck in a cut, for zero reason. You look great now, (or at the start of your diet) and don't need to diet. I believe you are only hurting your progress. IMO. Good luck.

Hey Bulldog! Its okay to have a difference of opinion. You missed the 3 months of bulking I did before this, but either way I lost very little strength during the cut and am prepping for another bulk. All is good in E4CM land. Thank for stopping by brother!

    • @Bulldog420

1600 cal I would be dead. Daily I eat 3k to 3.5k a day. My cuts are around 2500-2800 cal a day and I lose about 1.5 lbs a week.
You must of been dropping 2+lbs a week? Crazy.
I guess it's time to support you instead of lurking in the corner. Let's see about that cookbook.

138g of protein is shit for a man your size, you'll likely lose muscle. Anyway, does this guy have bigger gaps between the bones, or what? He jiggles a lot when talking.
Jokes aside, your recipes are awesome, brother, and you are as well for posting them for free.

Hey Grumpy! I actually lost very little strength this cut and this isn't my everyday protein total. Ideally I would like to be more in the 160 range, but I am okay with days at 140s especially when my performance in the gym isn't being sacrificed. Thanks for watching man! I will continue to jiggle for you. 😂
