as far as engines go, Halo CE holds a few systems over from Marathon, like how melee damage increases the faster you go, and how both games feel like they're in perpetual low-gravity
Marathon's tags are very similarly structured to Blam!, but the big middle connections are Myth 1, 2 and Oni which are all Blam! in its first 3d iterations. A lot of physics elements from Myth made it into Halo (chain explosions especially) and for a brief time apparently Halo had a version of Myth's "Explosions deform terrain" system.
@@DanielGonzzz yea, but you got to remember that game engines, especially old ones don't have a 'gravity' setting, just raw code specifying what happens when a character jumps or isn't on solid geometry. It’s crazy how accurate Max was when it came to matchmaking. He’s totally right. The most balanced games are the most stressful, not the most fun. An imbalanced game is more interesting because you feel like a real team of SPARTANs where your top player is essentially your Master Chief and you funnel them weapons and keep them safe. This is only true for games that aren’t trying to be competitive, but it definitely makes casual matchmaking games way more fun. I know their goal with multiplayer was always to have this real casual and fun experience. That was how I enjoyed Halo the most as well. :( I did get into the ranked grind in Infinite but I would get too stressed out and it wasn’t good for my health basically. The way I see it is that when you have a match that's not balanced you have one team having a great time and the other stressed to the point of anger, where if you have a more closely balanced game you may have both teams a little stressed. But to me it's a fun stress that makes you think about your next moves because at this point every kill counts. If a budget for a marvel movie is around 250-300 million there’s no way a video game costs 500 million.
Ehhhhhh. Marvel movies are built on a factory conveyor belt, they are specifically designed to be cost effective and as of recently it shows. CGI is cheap and rushed to be made, real sets are almost non existent and they are funneling out the old popular expensive actors and putting young nobodies.
@@AustinH7While marvel movies are now cookie cutter garbage , the figure in question still seems grossly inflated. Interesting to think about

One question about 21:00
I watched the Video back in the day and everything about it that came later from you guys, and the explanation seems plausible about what was happening with the Elites there BUT is it realy 100% sure that this is whats happening there? When im remembering correct then there are 5 Elites in the whole level that you coult possibly bring to the circle there and granate them like before because the mysterious thing is that these Elites that you have granatet there where locking EXACTLY at the stone pilar´s there, another commenter have pointet that out, was this by coincident? Woult you maybe check this out once and bring the Elites there, its maybe part of the ODST unsolved Easter Egg?
Peace
