I always thought gen 5 had so many that could have been clased in the category. Haxorus and Volcarona that certainly looked the part. Volcarona being mistaken as a legendary by many when they first played Black and White and they came across it at level 70 in a static encounter.
Volcarona. Yes, it needs one more evolution stage, but it could be added easily with a cocoon-like middle evolution. It does look the part, it has an AMAZING moveset and -here comes the bias-, I freakin' love it.
Goodra has the fact its actually horrifying as well, goes on murderous rampages, and is so strong it can accidently kill people by hugging them. It reminds me of the bunny that way in monty python and the holy grail. Deceptively cute but monstrously powerful
I like how Pokémon sizes in the anime are inconsistent, because if Pokémon existed IRL, I don’t think every Pokémon in a species would be the same size. It also shows this in Legends Arceus, so I think it makes since for Pokémon sizes to vary.
@@belphy205 The creation trio IS bigger though. Despite being really good with scales, PLA dropped the ball when it came to creation trio. Alpha Garchomp is 2.945 m tall. Palkia is 4.2 m in regular and 6.3 m in Origin, Dialga is 5.4 m in regular and 7.0 m in Origin and Giratina is 4.5 m in Altered and 6.9 m in Origin (though being serpentine in that form, that measurement might be from head to tail instead of standing). So all of them should be significantly bigger than Alpha Garchomp, but in the game, they just aren't.
The Pokemon anime has shown at times that Pokemon species have different sizes. The Charicific Valley episode showed that Ash’s Charizard was ironically small compared to other Charizards, even though Ash’s Charizard is way above average in size. Charizards are supposedly 5’7” on average, but the ones at the Charicific Valley were like 12+ feet tall.
To my child self, pseudo-legendary translated as “hard to get and looks cool”. With that in mind, I would absolutely consider Milotic and Volcorona. Zoroark also has mythical Pokémon vibes to me, though maybe not pseudo.
Always thought of Aggron as a pseudo when I was a kid. I loved having it on my team bc it felt so powerful, learning it wasn’t was sad, it’s such a cool behemoth of a Mon.
In my opinion I think it should be a requirement that the pokemon is rare to find, you don't find a dratini in any route, you don't find a gible in any route, you don't find a dreepy in any route, they are pokemon that appear in only a few specific routes and with very low probabilities of appearance, a pokemon that appears in almost all the routes of the game could not be a pseudo-legendary, although it is only my opinion
Yeah like what @Yorec F said I think the pseudos are only as rare as they are because of their status. If something like Haxorus was a pseudo they’d probably make it way harder to find
@@lemonhead19 hell, Haxorus in BW1 is almost as hard to find as Garchomp in Platinum. You can catch an Axew in a cave that you have to backtrack to or find a Fraxure on Victory Road, both of which are basically identical to Gible and Gabite, respectively. I think their spawn rates are just a little higher. I think the only Game Freak decided not to make it a pseudo is because they thought it would be too strong for a gym leader’s ace, even the eighth’s.
Personally I think that Dusknoir could’ve been in this video, since bulbapedia says that it may be based on “A Japanese one-eyed mountain-dwelling creature named the Yamawaro,” and it’s OVER SEVEN FEET TALL. In fact, it’s the exact same height as Corviknight, being 7′ 3″.
not considering the 3 stage requirement, i would absolutely put Arcanine, Volcarona, Snorlax and Gyarados to the list. they all have massive base stats already (aka more than the starters), are huge, give off special vibes
I feel like Milotic would be a good choice if it had a three staged evolution line. Milotic would look like it would be based on a Sea Serpent and is very large!! Also goes for Gyarados
I assume pseudos don't cover the starter types so that the player can use both the pseudo and any starter without overlap. If that's true, which it has been so far, Milotic and Gyarados wouldn't qualify.
Despite having a two-stage evolution line, *Volcarona* is literaly the best candidate to the pseudo-legendary status, when considering his power, appearence and evolution group. He's even on the right place in the Pokedex: right before the legendaries of the region.
How could you forget Coalossal? Its 9 feet tall, has a three stage evo all by leveling up, and its level up speed is almost slow enough, and its BST is 510. I think it deserved the buff. You may also think it looks too object like, but it really looks like Giant Stone Golems from mythology.
Here is a fun story: one of my friends didn't know how to get flygon in gen 3 so he was just training up his vibrova in the post game and got a pleasant surprise at level 47
After playing Legends Arceus, maybe it's for the best that "looks like it could kill you" wasn't made a requirement. If it was, Paras would have to be there.
Volcarona should have been given a middle evolution and the 600 base total there is even in game lore about how In ancient times ppl would use its flames during dark times to replace the sun and apperently it was born from a flaming cocoon to save ppl and pokemon when temperatures are too low its design its amazing it really should've have a been a pseudo plus a bug fire moth based on the sun would be a fucking cool pseudo
Speaking of middle evos, why do none of the moth Pokemon have a middle pupa stage? The only one that does is Dustox, and that's only because Wurmple also evolves into Beautifly.
I think the size inconsistency from the anime was addressed somewhere (cant remember where), but essentially they have a generalized height in the games and in the show but can grow to be much bigger than normal due to experience or training.
theres definitely a standard size with variations. i forget which pokemon game but you could fish for pokemon of different sizes like say a magikarp for example, and who ever caught the biggest one won a prize.
@@raiden3013 yes very true. I csnt remember the game but I do remember playing that challenge! Feels like a D&P or B&W game not sure tho. But either way, the games and the anime really don't align a whole lot when it comes to specific details. Alot of liberties taken by the anime for good reason of course.
The Let's Go games also have size variations for wild Pokémon. Smaller Pokémon that usual have a blue aura and bigger ones have a reddish orange aura, excluding size changes obviously. Also, due to wild Pokémon appearing in your screen, they actually have accurate sizes! Like Onix, who takes up at least a sixth of your screen from how big it is.
Yeah, I think that some of the biggest inconsistencies are with the weather trio, because in the anime, Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza are supposed to be straight-up kaiju
It's kind of funny that he mentioned Aggron because in X and Y, Lairon was exclusive to X while in Y you would get Pupitar. Even the games themselves once compared Aggron to a Psuedo-legendary
bruh that could actually be so cool tho imagine if they locked off two pseudo-legends to each respective game I think that could be really cool and incentivize people buying both games
The ones I completely agree, and I am amazed to get reminded every time they are not pseudos are: Aggron, Flygon, and Haxxorus. The only other addition I would make is Volcarona, but it definitely would need a cocoon stage. Also, the Nido lines should be merged into one line with gender differences, and made bigger. They look the part, but their canon size is baffling.
And tbh i think nido, especially nidoking looks more of a pseudo than luxray do. I would never think luxray is one but nidoking certainly looks the part
It’s surprising that Haxorus wasn’t made the pseudo legendary since it’s very similar to Garchomp, having high attack and decent speed, you get them in a cave that you can’t access until after the sixth gym with an HM (not counting Platinum since they removed the boulders which was the smart thing to do) and they both evolve into their final forms at 48
I'm pretty sure the only reason they lowered its stats (and thus not making it a Pseudo) is to allow it to be used by Drayden (or Iris in White) despite being a Gym Leader. After all, every Pseudo Legendary has always been in possession of a "Boss Trainer" you fight after beating the 8th Gym (or the equivelant in Alola). Be it Elite Four, Champion or Ghetsis.
@@robertlupa8273 I totally forgot Shauna also has a Goodra in her second battle on Route 19. (I never played XY lol) Caitlin in B2W2's Challenge Mode and Molayne in USUM also have a Metagross in their initial Elite 4 Battle.
Goodra is based on a mythical creature. The French lou carcolh is its inspiration. The lou carcolh is a giant snail monster. This makes it perfect for not only Kalos but also a position as a pseudo legend.

I am so glad you mentioned Haxorus. Haxorus is one of, if not my absolute favorite Pokémon and it’s a shame it’s not considered a pseudo legend. I also kinda wish it wasn’t a pure dragon type. Think about it, it’s mouth has a literal metal axe in it and it’s body is covered in steel armor. Same goes for it’s pre evolutions. If the Haxorus line aren’t perfect representations of a Dragon/Steel type Pokémon, then I don’t know what is.
Technically, Corviknight's already really strong; being absolutely carried with the attributes of being a Psuedo-legendary relating to size and height and the coverage is surprisingly good, yet its stat total really is very low in my opinion and deserves a boost, because it's honestly one of the best Pokémon to use in a team in the middle of the Gym Challenge because how good I think it is.
@@Terrified_Dartanyan yup corviknight is already a gianormous menace on the defensive behalf; it is one of the best pivots in the game do to it’s ability, (subjevtively) better stats than skarmory, access to U-turn and roost and it’s great typing
I think that every gen should've had at least two sudo legendaries since they make two different version games and would make perfect sense to have them be version exclusive.
I personally think Grimmsnarl would be perfect. In fact, when it leaked I was hoping it would be the pseudo. Yes it's humanoid, but I think it works since we're talking humanoid.mythical creatures like trolls and such.
Absolutely thought he was going to say “Coalossal” for the Gen 8 Pokémon, and I think it and Corviknight make equal sense as candidates for Pseudo Stats
Also Haxorus' shiny version also makes him look even more like a Psuedo legendary with him being all black and the red parts of him still remaining which makes him looks like a pitch black dragon which I would say looks very menacing and bad ass.
Aegislash I feel like deserves more consideration, is it an object yes, but it's a legendary weapon, like Excalibur or Muramasa Edit: or *Aegis* , The Shield of Zeus that was also used by Athena.. lol good call UA-cam comments
Probably could've got its own movie with a plot similar to sword and shield, where they have to defeat some threat with the help of a legendary weapon which turns out to be a pokemon
I don’t think it’s meant to be base on legendary weapons. I think it’s supposed to be regular weapons but possessed by the spirit of a fallen soldier or knight.
@@fiddlemyfoddle6374 Yeah it might be based on that but the way the sword of Aegislash is designed looks very holy. Like a holy sword like Excalibur possessed by a evil demon and now it's become ghostly
I personally feel like Grimmsnarl could make a good Pseudo-Legendary. It’s fearsome and threatening, and looks like it could kill you easily. It is also based on trolls, ogres, or Oni, all mythical creatures.
Personally, I’m kinda happy that none of these Pokémon are pseudo-legendaries. I like that there are plenty of options for a big and imposing member of your team outside of just getting one of the pseudos. Pokémon that are strong enough to take on the pseudos themselves. Aggron is shown to fight Tyranitar all the time. Similarly, Magnezone has been shown to be like a rival to Metagross.
Corviknight is so cool looking that it’s the first regional bird that I ran through my first play through. Easily one of the best designs they have ever introduced into the series.
@@AznYunHou what if instead the middle phase is kinda like a middle ground in which it hovers off the ground a little has the little wings come out of the back. It is like learning its true powers of levitate, would still have legs but it is learning not to use them so it has them a little bit folded in like Volcarona
Volcarona should be a pseudo legendary, give it a middle stage evolution between itself and Larvesta, it’s already in the slow xp group, It looks menacing as it resembles Mothra (a kaiju that is a massive moth), and it’s base stat total is 550, but it’s only 5’03 so just make it bigger.
Mikey is literally one of, if not THE most creative Pokémon UA-camr man. These video ideas combined with his enthusiasm and good research makes things so enjoyable to watch.
I think one Pokémon that could certainly fit the bill to be a psuedo is Grimmsnarl. Looks Menacing, Looks like a mythical beast, has a 3 stage level up evolution line, and while it isn’t the tallest (4’11) it’s not too small neither. It also has a unique typing with fairy and dark.
#1 this video concept is dope and worked really well #2 I never would’ve guessed corviknight, but honestly it’s the one that fit the best after watching the video.
It surprises me that no one is talking about Coalossal. It is big, 3 stage and could be based on Perses, a titan of volcanic destruction in greek mythology.
Gotta say, Mikey. You definitely missed out on Eelektross in Gen 5. A three stage evolution with a weak starting mon (Tynamo) that is 6'11", is in the Slow Experience group, is menacing, and has a 515 base stat total. It looks and feels like it should be a Pseudo Legendary (Especially with its Generation 5 Sprite). Highly, highly missed.
I think its main gimmick of having no weakness is what kept it from being a pseudo. It would be ridiculous to give it good stats and have no weakness while most pseudo have 4x weakness to a certain type.
@@icecreamcake5381 it also hurts that it's best stab option is the inaccurate thunder despite the fact that it's more of a physical attacker and wild charge is just so weak compared to all other recoil moves
I think Volcorona would be a great option. It looks menacing and like some ancient bug monster from long ago. I think it’s large enough (and even Pokémon thinks it’s worthy to be a powerful boss as shown in New Snap) and I even thought it was a Pseudo when I first learned about it. Just change around some of its stuff and you got a great Pseudo Legend.
Yknow how cool it would be if Larvesta had a secondary evolution around level 30 to 40 before it becomes Volcarona so it doesn't have to remain as Larvesta for 58 levels.
Goodra is based on how weak knights were depicted with snails, but strong with dragons, this is even more clear in it's Hisuian form. It is really cute, but I think it's fun for you to see and think it's weak then get absolutely wrecked
@@uncyborg7650 why the hell would you hate Goodra? It has the best design concept. In knight times, humor was very different and weak knights were portrayed battling snails and stronger with dragons, but Goodra is now a snail (technically a slug, but shush) that is a dragon. It's also very huggable and probably good for emotional support
Haxorus is my favorite Pokémon of all time from my favourite gen and I genuinely actually thought it was a pseudo legendary! It’s just such a beast and damn the shiny is so cool! Also corviknight is probably my favorite regional bird I know there are like other classics but I just love this guy he’s so badass looking!
To me one of the most important things would be that they are (in theory) rare. Like, dragonite, what's it's habitat? how many trainers have it? of those trainers, how many are not supposed to be super powerful? Pseudo-legendary suggests that they are a very difficult creature to find and train, to the point where normal folk could think they're not real.
@@ElysiaWhitemoonOmega first stages might be really common, but I’d say flygon still has that mythical appeal with all de desert lore to it. Tbf I don’t think gible is rarer than slakoth. Getting those pokemon to evolve though, takes a different kind of trainer (in-universe)
@@armandocampamartinez8307 slakoth is just a rare spawn in the beginning forest, gible is most of the time in some deep cave, most of time if you just follow the storyline you may never see the pseude first stage, as you need to find them in a specific spot, thats what i mean with rare
Togekiss would be amazing as a pseudo legendary, as it would be a perfect definition of the “don’t judge a book by its cover” or “wolf in sheeps clothing” idea, as it’s adorable, but VERY deadly if used right
I feel like, unfortunately, Togekiss just wouldn't be classed as one because then Cynthia would have 2 pseudos. I mean, it would be totally on brand for her, especially since she is legitimately the strongest champion, but still
@@Sawa-Kyo she didn’t have it in her original Diamond and Pearl team though. If it was also a pseudo, they probably would’ve had her keep Gastrodon or give her another Pokémon in Platinum. The Porygon Z she uses in her final rematch team in BDSP could’ve worked.
As odd as it may sound I think a normal type pseudo would be pretty cool. I’ve always had this love/hate relationship with Normal types, some of the designs are really bad but when they’re good they are GOOD. And I think a pseudo would be a great way to throw some respect on the Normal types
I always thought pseudo legendary pokemon were just ones which were kind of rare and resembled a legendary in some way. Some I thought was a pseudo legendary were lucario and heracross but apparently not lol.
@@vulk7183 rotom is more of a pseudo mythical as they are rare as as phione who is a mythical Celebi and mew are also mythical who are said have multiple of in one region
@@vulk7183 Rotom is just rare. Only reason people thought it was legendary/ mythical, is because it used the legendary boss fight theme when it was encountered in Diamond/ Pearl
Well I like how Goodra is a dragon type that actually looks sweet and kind hearted, it’s a twist to the dragon types. Imagine a trainer thinking that Goodra is weak after it looks up, they are gonna be demolished 💀 Ofc this is just my opinion
Especially sense it’s a single type instead of a duel type when it comes to dragons unless it gains the steel or fairy most of the time it makes the resulting Pokémon weaker defensively even the strongest Pokémon including pseudo legendary dragons like salemance garchomp and hydregon can get ruined by the added weaknesses there second type gave them sense dragons only weaknesses are ice dragon and the newest type fairy and resistances to all the elemental types that being fire water grass and electric and are neutral to every other type which is a great spread of type strengths and weaknesses greater then that of steel cause dragons can resist and are only neutral to the most important and common types that you can get on an average play through that being fire water grass electric fighting and ground whilst steel are weak to 3 of those types that being fire fighting and ground so when a Pokémon lets say hydregon even excluding the 4 times weakness to fairy and strictly stick to gen 5 hydregon when fairy wasn’t introduced it still gained a weakness to fighting and made bug neutral it’s not as much of a weakness as fighting and fairy but it nevertheless made hydregon easier to kill compared to haxsorus
Idk about you but I think I could see agislash being a pseudo legendary, I mean Ghost/Steel is pretty good cuz now agislash doesn't have to worry about fighting types, and becomes neutral to dark, and is super effective against a crap ton of types and has the stance change ability which makes it overpowered, being able too defend while being attacked, and attacking better while attacking because of its speed. And its bonkers base stat total and is banned to ubers. So that's my reasoning. Edit: Thx for all the likes
It's weak to dark. Since gen 6 onwards steel types no longer resist dark and ghost, and aegislash was introduced in gen 6 anyway. Also I don't ever see it becoming a pseudo legend, especially how gen 8 actually nerfed it's stats and signature move. Due to this its also no longer ubers. Also a lot of your sentences make no sense. "Attacking better while attacking because of its speed" what is that supposed to mean?
I’ve always sorta thought aggron should have a higher base stat total. Not like a pseudo but maybe 560 or 575 since 530 seems really low for something that doesn’t evolve until so late and has slow experience rate
I wouldn’t worry about the anime size that much. Let’s take Pokémon Let’s Go as an example, all of the Pokémon you catch come in different sizes. They all vary, so the size on their Pokédex entry should be seen as an average more than a definite fact.
I always thought that the size and weight from the pokedex was just an average and not that every single Pikachu weights the exact same In the real world a specific breed of cat may have an average weight but it's going to vary based on the individual not every single squirrels is exactly the same if pokemon are supposed to be living organic creatures it wouldn't make sense for them to all be the same maybe with some exceptions like sinistea since they all inhabit a tea cup
@@ShadowFox10587O that was the one thing from the Let’s Go games that I actually liked, even if we couldn’t see it in the overworld sprites. Like, the average Machamp is 5’ 3”, but my roommate at the time had one that was 7’ 7”, which seems far more appropriate given how strong it’s supposed to be.
Haxorus not being a psudo legendary always bugged me, one because it looks the part & 2 because its my favorite gen 5 Pokemon. It would be a perfect physical attacking psudo to counter Hydregion.
Goodra is terrifying! It’s entire evolution line has issues telling friend from food, and Goodra is relatively massive. In the actual Pokémon world as a trainer you’d probably have a 6 ‘mon team as a serious trainer. Pseudo legendaries would be the dream “powerhouse” of your traditional JRPG style party. Imagine how large your 2nd strongest member would have to be to ensure your Goodra wouldn’t be able to just CONSUME you and your other 5 ‘mons if it got just a little too hungry to focus on looking at what it was trying to eat. It’s not scary to your opponents, it’s scary to you and your team
when I first saw Corvigknight, I thought it was going to be a late game pokemon and that it was going to be really powerful, but then it turned to be just the regional bird of Galar
I think another requirement for being a psudo legendary is that it should be rare, like if luxray were psudo they would be the most used due them being common
I definitely agree with this. But if this category was implemented, his options would be really limited. This would exclude Pokemon like Aggron, Gengar, Slaking, Corviknight, Kingdra and Maybe Flygon. And would make for a really short and uninteresting video.
I'm actually super surprised Volcarona wasn't mentioned as a no for Gen 5. It looks hella mean, is pretty sizeable at 5'3", has an even high BST than Haxorus, is in the Slow leveling group, and evolves late. It's only caveat is that it's just a 2 stager but it would be so dope to have a Fire/Bug Pseudo Legendary!
Not only that but its in-game power is insane. Not many Pokemon can boast having a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock and is still so viable that people would go out of their way to clear the rock for it to enter the fight.
Just throwing in my two cents about Volcarona that everyone else has already brought up. I literally thought it was the pseudo for that gen, and I figured it was based off of Mothra or Battra or something
I actually think the anime sizes tend to fit the Pokemon better, with some official sizes being strangely out of proportion. Dunsparce is as tall and or long as Salamence!
I think that Mammoswine fits the Pseudo Legendary role pretty well and (if it wasn't the route one bird) I could see Corviknight being there too. Togekiss I agree with though. Also Luxray and Electivire I don't think fit.
Goodra might not LOOK hard to train, but the dex entries do cover that. Sligoo do have a tendency to almost dissolve anything because of their blindness and confusing friends with food, plus goodra is deceptively physically strong.
completely agree! i think its a bit too humanoid also is it big enough? alpha doesn't count so im pretty sure its shorter than the player in legends arceus normally
I hope we get a pseudo legendary Pokemon in Scarlet/Violet that isn't Dragon-type at all like Tyranitar and Metagross. I always felt Electric/Dark would be a great typing for a pseudo legendary. Maybe something based on a devil or oni or ogre. Update: Clearly there's a bunch of chucklefucks who fail to realize this comment was made months ago before Scarlet/Violet came out. 🤣
It would have to be a latin mythicial beast design. Orges are european but not from Spain or Portugual. Oni being japanese ruins the theme plus with scarlet and violet focusing on prehistoric and technological we could either get a prehistoric pokemon pseudo or anothr metagross
@@abimaelreyes7134 but I don't think there's an actual theme or idea related to the locations with the pseudo-legendary Pokemon, right? What's the theme correlation between the Kyushu Islands (Gen 3) and Salamence or Metagross, for example? Or the United States (Gen 5) with Hydreigon? Kommo-o and Hawaii (Alola) I sorta understand since it basically does a rendition of the Samoan haka.
Gen 4 had a lot of submissions in this video but Dusknoir would have been pretty awesome too! It’s 7’3” and definitely menacing enough, I think it’s a cool candidate just needs some adjustments on stats, growth rate, and evolution method
Honestly aggron would have made for sense for gen 3, it looks like a beast, its pretty dragon like, the stats are pretty good and it is tall so yea I think it would have been a better option than slaking
I love the idea of cute Psuedo legends. You can give them hugs and pets, and they completely lay waste to your enemies 😌😌😌 If it wasn’t obvious, my favorites are Goodra and Dragonite Lol
Who cares if theyre cute or fearsome??!!7 of them are fearsome and 2 are cute.I wont be suprised if the next Psuedo was a fearsome beast insted of being a cute p*ssy.
The 3 stage evolutionary line is a dumb requirement, there are lots of pokemon that could be pseudo legendary without it just by tweaking the stats: Arcanine, Lapras, Aerodactyl, Snorlax, Steelix, Milotic, Tropius, Absol... And that's just up to gen 3
I have to agree with Katie, Crobat being a pseudo legendary would be freaking awesome (I know it doesn’t meet any of the requirements in this video or officially but still)
I think the crobat being a pseudo would feel weird, it looks pretty small when you fight with or against it and doesn't exactly have the best stats for a pseudo.
I always felt like Gardivoir would work well as a psychic Pseudo, and it would be cool to have the branched evolution where each are pseudos as well, really mix up how bland the Dragon+? All of the games have made the pseudos for forever.

In Sinnoh you find gible at the power plant route 13

During the luxray/anime sizes he neglected that quadrupeds are usually measured at the shoulder, so 4’7 doesn’t even include the head

It's also very huggable and probably good for emotional support
@@deleted8490 i think i just didn’t like it because of how people used to hate it but now i acknowledge how amazing it is
Haxorus is my favorite Pokémon of all time from my favourite gen and I genuinely actually thought it was a pseudo legendary!
Pseudo-legendary suggests that they are a very difficult creature to find and train, to the point where normal folk could think they're not real.
i agree, wich disqualifies, slaking and corniknight, as they are easy to find in base form and not really rare, same with flygon and haxorus
If we’re changing stats and growth rates to make them pseudos, we can change spawn rates and locations.
ua-cam.com/video/ThbzUM1692g/v-deo.html
I mean, it would be totally on brand for her, especially since she is legitimately the strongest champion, but still
@@Sawa-Kyo I agree, but Cynthia is already the hardest champion so…. Eh
I don't think this is the reason, also because Lance in HGSS Rematches has three pseudos: Dragonite, Salamance and Garchomp.
@@Sawa-Kyo i mean, technically, in the anime, Cynthia was already shown to have a Kommo-O alongside Garchomp. So she already has two pseudos.
As odd as it may sound I think a normal type pseudo would be pretty cool. I’ve always had this love/hate relationship with Normal types, some of the designs are really bad but when they’re good they are GOOD. And I think a pseudo would be a great way to throw some respect on the Normal types

Well I like how Goodra is a dragon type that actually looks sweet and kind hearted, it’s a twist to the dragon types. Imagine a trainer thinking that Goodra is weak after it looks up, they are gonna be demolished 💀 Ofc this is just my opinion

I particularly agree with Haxorus and Aggron. I always thought Haxorus was a pseudo-legendary anyway.

Aggrons like, my whole thing
Idk about you but I think I could see agislash being a pseudo legendary, I mean Ghost/Steel is pretty good cuz now agislash doesn't have to worry about fighting types, and becomes neutral to dark, and is super effective against a crap ton of types and has the stance change ability which makes it overpowered, being able too defend while being attacked, and attacking better while attacking because of its speed. And its bonkers base stat total and is banned to ubers. So that's my reasoning.
Edit: Thx for all the likes
Yea i could see that but riding pn it would be like riding on a metal spike and it doesnt have a 600 bst
It is to object like and probably couldn't carry you.
Steel type in Gen 6 isn't tanky as previous Gen. Steel type has no resist against Dark/Ghost
@@oodogla oh I mean that when it attacks, because of its stance change and great speed, its attack increases while attacking to do more damage.
I’ve always sorta thought aggron should have a higher base stat total. Not like a pseudo but maybe 560 or 575 since 530 seems really low for something that doesn’t evolve until so late and has slow experience rate
double hp maybe?
Give it an actual Special Defense stat
Give it some actually decent stats, other than its defense.
HP and special defense buff
I feel like everyone forgot about Tyranrtum, I think it would make a good one if not for everything that wouldn't make it one
THE SECOND R IN TYRANTRUM SHOULD BE AFTER BOTH T'S!
I wouldn’t worry about the anime size that much. Let’s take Pokémon Let’s Go as an example, all of the Pokémon you catch come in different sizes. They all vary, so the size on their Pokédex entry should be seen as an average more than a definite fact.
Legends Arceus will have the same thing.
I always thought that the size and weight from the pokedex was just an average and not that every single Pikachu weights the exact same
In the real world a specific breed of cat may have an average weight but it's going to vary based on the individual
not every single squirrels is exactly the same if pokemon are supposed to be living organic creatures it wouldn't make sense for them to all be the same maybe with some exceptions like sinistea since they all inhabit a tea cup
To this day I thought haxorus was a pseudo legendary while hydreigon got the flygon treatment but looks like it was the other way around lol
Hey is escavalier in second? (hes my favorite pokemon)
They made it a Legend Killer instead, Male Haxorus with Rivalry destroys Unova's Forces of Nature.
Let's not forget you get a shiny Haxorus in B2/W2. You're telling me he's a regular mon?
I think giving Haxorus more stats would make it broken
Isn't the whole eating people just sligoo?

I've always thought that Coalossal should be up there. It's over 9' tall and it's a 3 stage evolution. But it's let down by a 510 stat total...
