While Froslass is my favorite Pokémon, and I'd love for her to get some love, I don't necessarily think it needs special attention. Froslass has an extremely unique typing, being the only ice/ghost type. She's also a gender exclusive evolution (like Vespiquen and Salazzle) to the point I forgot that you could have a female Glalie. Her design concept is interesting, basing it off a mother flipping yokai who traps people in ice. And Froslass was only introduced in Gen 4, after Snorunt and Glalie. So yeah, love her, but don't necessarily agree.
@@Maria.Annette Just correcting you on the female comparison, Sal and Ves are horrible examples. Froslass is more akin to Gallade than either of those two.
@@Maria.Annette Well, that could be true until you consider that Gardevoir and Gallade are in a similar situation, being Gallade a new Gender-Based evolution of Kirlia, introduced in gen 4, and both Gallade and Gardevoir got Megas. So yeah, Froslass still kinda forgotten.

So that leaves: Fearow, Arbok, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Golduck, Victreebel, Dodrio, Dewgong, Cloyster, Hypno, Seaking, Starmie, Ditto (It should stay this way tbh), Omastar, Kabutops, Dragonite, and Mew. Parasect would be here too but…Legends Arceus definitely saved it from obscurity.
Yes Dude ! Those Paras and Parasects are just Nasty !. They blacked out me a couple of times running from alphas. I don't understand why Gamefreak made them so hostile....Even if I stand before the Alpha Snorlax it doesn't do anything at first....😅
I hope you guys realize they’re only there because they were originally a part of the Diamond and Pearl Dex. Nothing to do with them being liked by GAME FREAK. But I agree, those Pokémon are VICIOUS.
@@Duexroted Meowth almost had a baby form as well to more closely match Pikachu as you said. Look up Konya pokemon or Meowth pre-evolution to see the adorable thing we almost got. Meowth and Pikachu will always be icons in my eyes
I love that they finally gave Primeape some love, especially since Annihilape is based off Primeape’s Sun dex entry saying it can get so angry it can die 😂
"When was the last time you thought about a Dewgong?" Literally yesterday when my brother and I were talking about underrated Pokémon from each region. My shout for Kanto was indeed the loveable Dewgong.
It might be like Honey Badgers, where they’re super aggressive because it scares other things. Also, they learn spore, so if they can hit that, it’s basically game over for the opponent.
9:05 Another fun fact with Parasect; a Parasect with dry skin technically has a 5x weakness to fire. On top of its normal 4x weakness, dry skin Pokémon take 25% extra damage if hit by a fire type move, so 4 times 1.25 equals 5
I just got a crazy idea and likely could break the game. imagine if there's a move that reverse weakness and resistance. So instead of a 8x weakness, it can flip into an 8x resistance.
"I think a cool idea for a regional variant of prineape would be a calm one, since its know to be so angry it can die" Proceeds to actually die and evolve because of that
@@krrishmaindola my brother in Christ are you the guy who says that musharna was planned 13 years in advance because of some dialog, annihilape is definitely a reference to the pokedex it definitely wasn't planned 6 years in advance
Dude, gamefreak getting rid of mega evolutions was like a parent getting their kid a puppy, letting them have fun with said puppy for a few years, and then suddenly snapping its neck in front of the child.
Some of these ended up getting attention: -Jigglypuff got a Paradox version (Scream Tail) -Primeape got an evolution (Annihilape) -Tentacruel and Tentacool got basically regional forms (Toadscool and Toedscruel) -Flamingo Pokémon happened, but not as a Dodrio (Flamigo) -Voltorb and Electrode got regional variants (Hisui) -Tauros got three regional forms (Paldea) And also some of these might get a mega in Z-A because megas aren't in fact out of the question.
3:33 Not only has Arbok appeared SO RARELY since Jessie released hers about 900 episodes ago, but Arbok’s different stomach faces in its sprites technically made them the first regional variants, but that hasn’t been revisited or solidified in canon!
Dewgong has a little horn. Imagine an evolution inspired in a real life Narwhal with a really long horn akin to a unicorn’s. Due to the fact that Narwal horns where historically sold as unicorn horns and were thought to have magical properties, you could even argue for a type change to Ice/Fairy. That’s something I’d love to see!
Dewgong should have a regional variant based off of a leopard seal. Unlike the original Dewgong’s gentle disposition, this regional variant would be much more aggressive, have a dark grey-black colour scheme, and act as a physical attacker. An ice-dark type would suit this Pokemon very nicely because leopard seals are found in cold waters and tend to ambush their prey without warning. Its primary abilities would be thick fat and intimidate, while its hidden ability would be anger point. Otherwise, this could be a brand new Pokemon concept altogether. 🦭
I've actually been thinking about dewgong a lot because of the regional forme I gave them in my homebrew region, a pure flying type. Here, the seel have adapted to become extremely light, no longer being able to submerge in water but lying on top of it, taking an a consistency similar to fog or mist and their bodies to become more fluffy/puffy. The dewgong of the region take this newfound lightness and master it, floating across the sky as clouds. They are obviously based on clouds, but they are also less seals/sealions and more manatees, as images of unbothered manatees floating through the river or zoo exhibit without a care for the world around them made me think of clouds lazily floating by. Other reasons were me wanting more pure flying types and less bird/dragon flying types, as well as a flying type pokemon to truly call Bounce its main move, seel in this case. Metagame-wise, they would have the abilities Clear smoke and Lightningrod (thematically this would allow them to float through lightning storms unbothered) with Drizzle as a hidden ability, having access to wind based moves as well as storm themed ones like thunder and especially hurricane at later levels. One of my gym leaders, an extremely talented trainer who would rather hang out with his pokemon and gaze up at the sky all day, uses it as their signature pokemon, complemented by a team of drifblim, minior and togetic, gaining an altaria in later matches.
“When was the last time you thought about a Dewgong?” The last time Goh’s Dewgong appeared in the anime since it’s one of his pokémon with the strongest personalities
Idk why people are so surprised about meowth getting so many “goodies” cause of it being Pokémon’s 2nd mascot cause team rocket, as well as the fact everywhere has tons of cats.
Meowth's goodies are pretty low-bar next to something like Charizard, really. Regional forms for a weak Pokémon are hardly on the same platform as Mega Evolutions for a strong one.
Noone else has realized why its getting so many goodies?? Well here is why Good explanation to How Did Meowth Get So Many Goodies: It literally has a GOLDEN coin on its head, thats a slight goodie
@@AnnanKamrans dont think you guys know what we’re talking about if you’re just focused on it’s gold coin just cause the fact it’s a lucky cat inspired pokemon. By “goodies” I’m referring to how he phrased it in the video, aka the regional forms and Gigantamax form. Has nothing to do with the coin.
@:O🍡 meowth is more a mascot than Charizard only cause he’s been in every version of the show charizard has not. Charizard is more 3rd than 2nd, though he is definitely the mascot when comes to starters, even though greninja is always voted most popular in most polls. I’m saying Meowth is more a mascot cause of the fact he’s literally team rockets mascot (least Jesse and Jame’s team) they even use him as the design for their hot air balloon and several robots. Charizard is more the mascot of the regional gimmicks like mega or Gigantamax as the most popular of the gen 1 starters. Least imo.
"Where did the Mega Aerodactyl come from?" The Pokedex entries have stated that Mega Aerodactyl is actually closer to Aerodactyl's original appearance, and that modern Aerodactyl are a lot more tame than the original Aerodactyl. It says that a strong bond with its trainer awakens dormant genes that bring back the rocks that were on Aerodactyl in ancient times.
If Mikey knew about this he would give the other fossil Pokemon a new mega form, but seeing this video is also trying to move on from mega puts him in a tight spot, but Mega Omastar and Mega Kabutops would be sick!
I love how Primeape has been quite weak and forgettable for so long, and it got one of the most badass evolutions, great offensive typing, and a *great* signature move. Man, everything about Anihilape is just so good
I like how you called yourself out about Electrode in the Legends: Arceus tier video. Gamefreak really threw us all for a loop and you gave them credit for it.
What's silly about Electrode's design concept? It's a mimic, the RPG monster that takes the appearance of a treasure chest to be a surprise enemy and a trap. Since PokeBalls are the loot sprite, it makes sense that the mimic is a PokeBall. You could give it a gold variation that can trick you into thinking you have found a TM.
Making Electrode yellow wouldn't make any logical sense to change its type though. Not to mention that just painting Voltorb yellow would get the job done without making a new pokemon.
A Rock/Steel Type Electrode that is Gold & Silver with moves like Payday & Stab Roll Out/Rock Slide. Give them a distaste for exploding & somewhat greedy personality & you have an interesting concept. Still we could always go away from the mimic aspect & have something like Normal Electrode that's a Giant Baseball or Watermelon Electrodes designed to protect Watermelons from predators & thieves.
Would like to see Australia as an inspiration for a new Pokémon region, could give us new regionals for Arbok, Cloyster, Taurus, Seaking, Starmie, and Dewgong there as those real animals are present. Maybe the flamingo Dodrio although they’re now extinct in Australia
Omg i remember this one pokemon i made for an Australian themed region It was a grass fighting kangaroo who's tail was a flower First stage, seed tail Second stage, seedling or sprout or whatever it's called Third stage, thick stemmed flower tail Anyway back to the video i go lol
I mean it's cute and I get the logic but I personally would have rathered them do a form of like basically any other Pokemon so I just feel like it's a waste of a slot imo.
"When was the last time you thought about Dewgong?!" Almost weekly. Back as a kid I chose Dewgong to be one of my favorites simply because I saw that no one cared for it. And I just have that attachment to it now.
12:23 Primape got an evolution 13:13 Fire Grass now exists 14:02 Tentacruel and tentacool got kind-of new pokemon based on them 18:14 Electrode Hissuian form 20:53 Tauros got like 3 forms 24:22 Goodra won that title Edit: Im not complaining neither making this video look bad, i just wanted to comment this kind-of retrospective I KNOW it was made before SV and im sure everybody does so just stop
tentacool did not get a new form but technically they did? convergent evolution is weird. toedscruel's design was based off of tentacruel ig. its hard to word it tho.
Don't forget his comment that new evolutions for old mon only happen with regional varients which got undone with a lot of the mon in both PLA and SV (Example, Usaluna, Wyrdeer, Annialape, DunDunsparce)
@@kenjikana I mean, yeah it’s not actually the same Pokémon. However, the look the same, and for all intents and purposes, it’s just a different name for a regional form. (Idk about how the stats work in relation to the original Pokémon or whatever but the point still stands)
Now the only ones that doesnt have anything are fearow, the nido's venamoth, arbok, dragonite, ditto, hypno, golduck, omastar, kabutops, mew, dewgong dotrio, parasect, seaking, victribel, cloyster and i think thats it

That thing still bothers me Obviously they didnt think they were gonna add gygantamax 20 years later and hence they should add a reference and stuff Then why did they put that?
To be fair, Mew got its exclusive z-move genesis supernova. It’s also the Pokémon that Goh is so focused on catching in Pokémon journeys. Speaking of journeys. Ash got a Dragonite recently and it’s probably his most powerful Pokémon of the season so far. So I don’t think Dragonite is being forgotten any time soon.
@@ruthlessra3275(Spoilers) yeah the Ash storylines are amazing, but they gotta stop with the fillers and the random Goh catches like the Shiny Voltorb he just caught I mean come on, he's story with the Mew expedition or whatever it's called is good but they just drag out episodes with filler. The Ash storylines have been short but they're soo good.
For Aerodactyl, I always took it that the reviving process wasn’t perfected in Gen 1. Meaning the Pokémon were revived, but they weren’t completely restored to their proper forms and bodies. That’s why Asrodactyl’s mega form is described as “Resembling Aerodactyl’s true form”.
I don't like drinking coffee, but seems like Trade is a cool sponsor. Also, Grunty Boi has more wholesome moments and character growth recently, so it is definitely a good thing to see.
I love Dewgong for being a simple beauty, which is befitting a Water/Ice type. Crisp and clean. For those reasons I'm not thrilled with the idea of it receiving a regional variant like I would be for many other gen 1 pokemon. A split evolution would be perfect, giving Seel the opportunity to turn into a different Water/??? type without touching Dewgong's legacy at all. The Oddish line shows just how great split evolution can be with Vilepume and Bellossom~
For Dewgong, the easy answer is to go with a narwhal style evolution. They're designed fairly similar, and Dewgong and Seal already has the start of a horn, so why not?
I was going to suggest a mermaid theme but it would be too similar to Primarima (although you could argue she’s more of a siren). I’d re type it as Fairy/Ice, would instantly become a dragon slayer
I think a side-evolution would work better. Seel into either dewgong or something more horn-y. Not a narwhal, but they're game freak, surely they can think of something.
At least Dewgong isn’t a pushover in Pokémon Masters EX. Yes I know it’s different from the original games, but I grew very fond of Dewgong ever since Pryce and Seel joined the team.
@@krisbd6262 yes it's awesome. I uninstalled few months before though due to mobile issues. At that time itself there were 2. Now it should have been increased
With Dewgong, I'd love to see an ancient form in Legends: Arceus that has the horn more pronounced (like a Narwhal) and perhaps a different color (could be explained as Sinnoh having a white area making Dewgong evolve a whiter coat over time)
@@KhanMann66 or give it a new evolution with a bigger horn (like a narwhal) and tusks made out of ice and a mustache (like a walrus). it can be called... Whalrus!
Make it super bulky with a high defence and HP, with a decent attack with the lance. Call it "Marwall" (mar = ocean, and wall). It'll be the lance pokemon. Marwall covers itself in ice to form a tough armour and brave enemy attacks before charging at them with its icy lance
NO NO NO MILTANK CAN GO DIE IN LAVA PIT NO NO NO I HATE IT sorry if I affend u sorry trauma from battle mason Minoutaurs would be cool add that BUT add the minoutaurs to as a final evo many can split with miltank
I always thought Voltorb should've gotten a third evolution depending on the type of PokeBall you caught them with, basically a gen 1 rotom complete with different types and maybe even stats
@Robin- FakeASMR Must Be Stopped Do you do Hardcore Nuzlocke’s? Master Balls are nothing special in HN Nuzlockes. Lol. They’re great for a guaranteed encounter that’ll be incredibly beneficial for your run. Other than that, they’re just another item. 🤷🏾♂️
22:52 Kabuto wasn’t ever extinct. RSE/ORAS Pokédex both say “living examples have been discovered”. USUM “living specimens in certain regions”. SWSH “kabuto sightings are fairly common in some cases”. 23:40 Mega Aerodactyl is Aerodactyl’s “true” prehistoric form. It didn’t need hoomans back then, but it’s weaker “revived” form apparently does.
True about the Kabuto line, but to my research, that only talks about Kabuto, not mentioning if Kabutops is in the same boat or not. Plus, that still doesn’t help with the Omastar line.
@@frederickthesquirrel I think (not sure on this) that Kabutops just might have not even existed until after prehistoric times, and only in historic days have Trainers brought the best out of their Kabuto/tops.
@@zentendoxn8955 Also, in some cases pokemon history is so vague that "prehistory" technically starts a mere couple centuries before the present time. They didn't even know pokemon laid eggs until Gen 2, so things that are assumed to have happened in the distant past may actually be quite recent.
The fossil pokemon could get regional "variants" because of changes/improvements in the resurrection machines. It is a unique way to address how many experts now think that dinosaurs had feathers but thought they had scales/hide back when pokemon first came out
Well we'd need more actual therpods then for that one, however making a triceratops based pokemon lose some defence as we know now that the horns and frills weren't the strong
This could work really well for the newer fossil mons, I.e. tyrantrum and aurorus, but not so much for Omastar and Kabutops. Omastar could be a water and psychic due to ammonoids spiral shape, but the only typing could be would be either water/bug or water/steel which could overlap with Armaldo and Carracosta. It might be best to leave these two (as this is what they could of been like in the poke prehistoric times) but do this for newer Pokémon
Ngl something I'd love to see as a regional form for Tentacruel would be a Water/Dark type based off a Vampire Squid, and for whatever the next gen's gimmick is let them become a straight up Kracken
I've always thought it was strange that Dragonite looks nothing like Dratini and Dragonair. Also, there are multiple connections between Dratini and Dragonair and water or the weather so I'd like to see an alternate evolution for Dragonair that keeps the coloring and aesthetics of Dragonair and is Water/Dragon and has some sort of ability relating to changing the weather.
Dragonair is a reference to a proto dragon (Imugi) becoming a dragon when catching a jewel (Yeouiju) falling from the heavens in Korean mythology. But, I like your idea for this concept. It probably become the third Gen 1 Pokemon based on a lake monster like Gyrados and Lapras. I think your idea can happen because if Gamefreak will either go with one of these opinions. 1. Dragonite becoming a Water/Dragon type because it's Japanese name (Kairyu). 2. A new regional evolution with flipper like limbs along with it's pre evolutions being the same typing. I mean if Scyhter and Meowoth get alternative evolution, then why not?
@@pedrosilvaproductions That's true. Then again, it felt weird that Seadra wasn't a Water/Dragon type until evolvng into Kingdra. Either way, I would like see to the Dratini evolutionary line get regional forms. I wish Lapras might get a pre evolution form one day. But, I wouldn't be surprise if Lapras gets a regional form or a evolution like Galarian Farfetch'd. I'm just guessing here
@Justin Arzola Oh yeah, it still a pretty cool evolutionary line. I'm curious how that evolutionary never received regional forms like Corsola. Still waiting for some more forgotten pokemon a evolution or regional form.
What would be really cool is finding a cave untouched by time with the original version of some fossil pokemon (at least with my understanding all of them gained rock type due to fossilization)
They were originally rock in their time as well, however, the Pokédex and game lore has pointed out that Mega Aerodactyl was what it had really looked like. It was said that despite today’s technology they still couldn’t revive a perfect Aerodactyl to its true form.
@@brandondoran5940 is this the in game explanation? Makes sense really, there's so many animals and other creatures we know we will never discover a trace of them.
I feel like Fearow should have gotten a regional form, considering it’s the counterpart to Raticate, but that means Arbok should have gotten one too because it’s the counterpart to Sandslash
Mikey, you said that Aerodactol’s mega doesn’t make sense, did you forget about it’s Pokédex description? It states that this is most likely what Aerodactol looked like in the ancient past.
Fossil evolution yes..they can make 3rd evolution / split evolution for the revive fossil that it will remove there rock type for there true evolution typing **still prefer a 3rd evolution though
Miltank should have been changed to fairy or normal/fairy type so when we inevitably revisit Johto, Whitney’s gym could seamlessly transition to fairy type which aligns better with her character
@@ExcalibeonSwordofEeveelutions i think it will still have rollout so there goes that idea tho idk what it's full moveset would be Milk drink Stomp Rollout Play rough?(idk that's the only physical fairy move i know)
8:40 The only interesting thing that Parasect got was a counterpart/rival in gen 7, in Shinnotic. (They appear at opposite times of day, and their Dex entries mentions their rivalry). Of course, Shinnotic got a whole forest that seemed perfect with it, and Parasect got nothing
I have a disturbing idea for a new Dewgong, either as a new evolution or a variant. How about an Ice/Poison type, based on the idea of a seal surviving an oil spill? Instead of dying, SOMEHOW it thrived, and now lives in oil or industrial waste, instead of water. Plus, there’s meme potential: as the first Pokémon of its type pairing, it will *never* be forgotten again! Just a thought.
For Dewgong, it could get a narwhal looking evolution, keeping the real-world animal feel and laying into the horn on the head art-wise. Maybe a type change/update, with a stat table similar to whailord, another large real-world based sea creature.
>give Primeape a regional evolution How about _just a straight-up evolution?_ ...That idea about making a _calm_ evolution didn't age so well, though...
I think one of the reasons Dewgong goes overlooked is the fact that Walrein exists. I mean they are close enough to one another, but Walrein is just better in any perceivable way.
For Dewgong they could do an evolution or regional form that makes it look like a narwhal. Many gen 1 pokemon have small horns on their head for literally no reason (take Goldeen for example) so I think it would be nice to have the horn being the major focus of a new design for once
@@mukeshmalhotra9146 May I remind you of Remoraid evolving into Octillery? Also mixing different species just makes pokemon more interesting, otherwise they'd be just simple animals

I actually loved Dewgong. I wouldn't mind seeing something for him. I honestly forget Ditto exists sometimes. I'm upset that Dragonite hasn't gotten anything!
An interesting thing they could do is have Dewgong/Seel become an ice/ghost type having been "eaten" by either sharpedo or a water regional form of garachomp.

I think a good way to have regional variants of Omastar and Kabutops is to have a new region with a group of them that didn’t die off millions of years ago and naturally changed over time. It would be like the opposite of the Hisuian forms. I guess they would be more considered modern variants than regional though.
But how did they survive with all the poachers and evil team members existing in this era. It would only mean that either a strong legendary has been protecting them for several eons which would only mean that the entire region is going to be inunhabited by humans so how is the main character supposed to get there?
personaly I would prefer if they went with the route of them being frozen in and burried and Lost for millions of years, only to be revived because climate change de frosting it and being found by scientists or the protagonist
@@yadu.b.krishnan4459 Just like how any other Pokémon species continues to survive with all the poachers and evil teams around. I was viewing it that they would be treated just like any other regular Pokémon in that region. They adapted over time and lived alongside humans when humans came around.
Honestly, I think Dewgong's design is very charming in its simple elegance and don't care that it doesn't vary from its design inspiration much. It's one of my overlooked favorites and I don't want it to have an evolution or anything that would alter it significantly. The rest of you can forget about it - I'll go on liking Dewgong just the way it is. :3
Agreed. Some pokemon are cool due to their very simple designs, somehow reminiscent of earlier games graphic limitations. Dewgong could get a stat buff and some really cool signature moves, though (an interesting way to distinguish it)
With "simple elegance" you perfectly put into words how I feel about Dewgong. It's not one of my favorites, but it's most certainly not a Pokémon I have or will ever forget about. I'm always happy to encounter it in-game, since it's one of the first Pokémon I got to know as a child. I always considered it to be very beautiful. There's just something about that glowing white and the fins that almost look like ruffled fabric. I think as a child it kind of reminded me of a princess wearing a wedding gown.
Jynx keeps appearing in recent games, including New Pokémon Snap, so it's not like they want us to forget Jynx in general, they just want us to forget Jynx's old unfortunate look.
22:45 “it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for Pokémon who’ve been extinct for millions of years to have a regional form” Honestly, it would be cool if it was discovered they didn’t go completely extinct and survived in a single region, and evolved over millions of years into a regional form. So like, basically a “modern day” version of those Pokémon, what they would have become had they not died out.
It would be interesting to have an Electrode variant like Electric/Ghost, evolved due to self-destructing holding some exclusive especific item that let him not die and being consumed, and leveling up as result.
Called like Spectrorb where it would hold a new item called an empty Spirit sphere, where after exploding, its soul enters the spirit sphere, turning that into its body.
Goinf back to this over time is always great for updates. The irony of a coffee sponcer in thr same video mentioninf SCB when they opened a coffee distribution buisness is great

I beg of you, make a type of video on your whole region

Meowth's goodies are pretty low-bar next to something like Charizard, really. Regional forms for a weak Pokémon are hardly on the same platform as Mega Evolutions for a strong one.
Well I’d argue 3rd or 4th mascot, Charuzard is definitely #2 and Greninja might be slightly higher. But still Meowth is iconic
Noone else has realized why its getting so many goodies??

Voltorb is a trap, Electrode is lazy
your describing voltorb
If I'm not mistaken (though it's also been a long time), the Pokéball item sprite was used for wild Voltorbs in the Gen 1 RBY Power Plant.

For Dewgong, the easy answer is to go with a narwhal style evolution. They're designed fairly similar, and Dewgong and Seal already has the start of a horn, so why not?

But still (23:23)
The fossil pokemon could get regional "variants" because of changes/improvements in the resurrection machines.
Ah yes give Kabutops feathers and make it a Water/Flying Type
"primeape", "tentacruel", "I really wanna see a grass fire pokemon"
Pokemon for gen 9: "NOTE THAT"
Ngl something I'd love to see as a regional form for Tentacruel would be a Water/Dark type based off a Vampire Squid, and for whatever the next gen's gimmick is let them become a straight up Kracken
I would see a electric type tentacreul regional variant because they are based off jellyfish
no more water type to much
But... Tentacruel is a jellyfish not a squid or na octopus.
I wanted a gmax tentacruel to represent the kraken
If it was dark type I think becoming cthulu is more fitting
@@justinsarcedo9355 i think they didn't do it originally because you had lapras and gyarados as "water dragon" type thing, so it wouldn't make sense
Dragon air to garay dos and magic harps to dragonite
What would be really cool is finding a cave untouched by time with the original version of some fossil pokemon (at least with my understanding all of them gained rock type due to fossilization)
Like a pure biological Genesect!
They arent rock type due to fossilization, they survived the fossilization process so long because of their initial rock typing
@@renatlia4077 when rocks fly, that'll be the day :)
Mikey: wants a calm Primeape
GameFreak: Annihilape = dead from rage
I feel like Fearow should have gotten a regional form, considering it’s the counterpart to Raticate, but that means Arbok should have gotten one too because it’s the counterpart to Sandslash
Arbok and Sandslash are just Seviper and Zangoose but from Kanto
@@Kyumifun you mean seviper and zangoose are just arbok and sandslash but from hoenn

Lol
Mikey: “if it doesn’t have a third evolution well… it needs one.” Except dugong
Lets give primape a variant that is peaceful.

*AGAIN, THERE SHOULD BE 2 E'S IN PRIMEAPE!*
Mikey, you said that Aerodactol’s mega doesn’t make sense, did you forget about it’s Pokédex description? It states that this is most likely what Aerodactol looked like in the ancient past.
It also says that when it mega evolves it hurts a lot for Aerodactol
True
Aerodactol is an underrated Pokemon dude
Fossil evolution yes..they can make 3rd evolution / split evolution for the revive fossil that it will remove there rock type for there true evolution typing
**still prefer a 3rd evolution though
I say megas are the true form
And maybe charizard's 2 forms are split like kyurem
Miltank should have been changed to fairy or normal/fairy type so when we inevitably revisit Johto, Whitney’s gym could seamlessly transition to fairy type which aligns better with her character
That would jsut make the fight harder because the traded machop you can get would not be able to deal super effective damage

Just a thought.
me realizing that there isn't an ice/poison type
Pray for Game freak to read this
You're cooking
They should add this in ZA and make a mega for it where it becomes ghost ice type because it does off the poison
Mikey: "When was the last time you thought about a Dewong?"
Me who loves Degong: Hola
Bruh 💀 you misspelled it twice
i kinda love Dewgong thanks to Goh's Dewgong
Dewgong is cool, but it is unfortunately quite forgettable
degong.
Dewong, and degong yes my favorite seal pokemon
For Dewgong, it could get a narwhal looking evolution, keeping the real-world animal feel and laying into the horn on the head art-wise. Maybe a type change/update, with a stat table similar to whailord, another large real-world based sea creature.
>give Primeape a regional evolution
How about _just a straight-up evolution?_
...That idea about making a _calm_ evolution didn't age so well, though...
The sole reason Dewgong is without change is because it is perfect as is, it needs no updates, you cannot improve on it.
Give it an upgrade in the stats department and I'd be happy.
Yess I love the puppy faced bby
Dewgong is very underrated, i do think dewgong should get attention.
maybe a variant like a rock water?
Anyone growing up on Gen 1 remembers that 1st elite four battle and she pulls out a Dewgong and ice beam wipes your entire team.
I think one of the reasons Dewgong goes overlooked is the fact that Walrein exists. I mean they are close enough to one another, but Walrein is just better in any perceivable way.
One of those times where the Gen 3 clone actually legit outperforms its Gen 1 original.

For Dewgong they could do an evolution or regional form that makes it look like a narwhal. Many gen 1 pokemon have small horns on their head for literally no reason (take Goldeen for example) so I think it would be nice to have the horn being the major focus of a new design for once
What the hell narwhals are close relatives of dolphins and dewgong is a phinipeds

I think a good way to have regional variants of Omastar and Kabutops is to have a new region with a group of them that didn’t die off millions of years ago and naturally changed over time. It would be like the opposite of the Hisuian forms. I guess they would be more considered modern variants than regional though.
like they could have done in the crown tundra if game freak and nintendo weren't cheap, greedy bastiches?
But how did they survive with all the poachers and evil team members existing in this era. It would only mean that either a strong legendary has been protecting them for several eons which would only mean that the entire region is going to be inunhabited by humans so how is the main character supposed to get there?
@@yadu.b.krishnan4459 boat? also, that's litterally the crown tundra
personaly I would prefer if they went with the route of them being frozen in and burried and Lost for millions of years, only to be revived because climate change de frosting it and being found by scientists or the protagonist
@@yadu.b.krishnan4459 Just like how any other Pokémon species continues to survive with all the poachers and evil teams around. I was viewing it that they would be treated just like any other regular Pokémon in that region. They adapted over time and lived alongside humans when humans came around.

Pokemon company: Voltorb regional form. Take it or leave it.
Dewgong could get a stat buff and some really cool signature moves, though (an interesting way to distinguish it)
Get this, get this. What if they gave Dewgong…
A SECOND HORN!
