Here's the top three takeaways for me:
1. Priorities - it's not about the sale, it's about the reputation. Focus on building a reputation to earn trust and success will find you.
2. Solve the customer's problem instead of focusing on what you stand to gain from the deal - if they are upset about the price or don't like the details, don't just give up, solve the deal with an alternative arrangement that satisfies their needs
3. Focus on building relationships and networks, not just with customers but with fellow professionals and the larger community. Give value out and help others, and it will find its way back to you

This is great if only British real estate agents were more like this. They meet you or call you back meet you at property at pushy and that’s it. No follow up. No friendliness, no checking in if you have found a place so not just poor at their job but leaving money on the table. Foolish
