Great speech. My wife and I also did the same starting about a decade ago on our first condo and more recently on our second larger dream home near Vancouver and rented out the previous. Denise Mai explains this so much better than me 😂. I also read rich dad poor dad over a decade ago along with other books related to passive income through assets. As a licensed Engineer my job income pays down the mortgage of our primary residence and the Renter pays our mortgage on the previous home. Long term the mortgages will go down, rents up especially will as each renter chooses to move on and reset to market rent, and the option to draw equaity continues.
