Props to the food management system guy! You can tell he really cares and is passionate about his job. He recognizes how important his role is in the whole operation. AND he’s an Ariana Grande fan!
I love the look of hope on his face when she first tries it! If you think about all the things that make you happy and break up the monotony of life and give it flavor... those things are different for everyone, but food is almost universal. And it's one of the few things on that list that they actually have access to in space. Having great food and a diverse menu must be so important to their mental health. I never thought about it until I saw his passion for his job.
He was one of my favorite parts. The absolutely joy he had with that laugh at how impressed she was with the food was so wholesome. We should ALWAYS endeavor to put the passionate people where they belong, doing the thing they care about. It's not about whether something is "better" than another, it's about having the right people in the right positions.
I was expecting her to lose it during a ride in the "vomit comet", but she never was given the chance. Guess we need to send her back for more astronaut training lol.

In the field, being tested mentally, physically, and emotionally while trying to pack in such calorie dense meals, losing interest and losing weight can be an issue. Variety keeps your mind active and is a great coping mechanism to combat depression. His passion resonates through in his "NASA" interpretation. There's a depth he carries that is inspiring amongst the void. My grandfather served in the Army Air Corps during WWII, gained his citizenship, and went on to work at Goddard, as did my uncle. Proud of you pushing through fears and experiencing something so extraordinary in humanity. ✊🏼😘🔥

So yeah I'm still in highschool but I plan on studying long enough to achieve a Master's, and ultimately a Doctorate's degree in astrophysics, and applying to work at NASA or another space-related agency or company, or join the military and do a related job in the Air Force. I'd love to join the Space Force but that's not really plausible imo. I know it's a long shot but I have the determination to see it through. I'd love to get up every day and think to myself "holy sh*t I work for NASA" or like "holy sh*t I accomplished my life goal"

You know those people who chase intense storms and natural disasters (like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes), it would be interesting to see what they experience and to get live feed of the after effects of these storms. This may be difficult to do, though, and your safety comes first always! Love you!

I’ve wanted to be an astronaut for as long as I can remember. I had a crappy pair of binoculars that could barely see the moon but I used them every night anyway. I finally got an actual telescope for my 12th birthday and I would sneak out of the house every night when everyone went to sleep to go use it. I started taking advanced courses and did half days at my local university in high school to get a head start. I was talking to an Air Force recruiter with plans to join right out of high school, everything I could think to get myself there. I came down with a chronic illness called POTS halfway through high school that immediately crushed those dreams. I’m trying to “cure” myself so that I can actually go back to school or even work a good job but it’s difficult. This video was amazing for me to watch, I’m really thankful you got to do this and share it with us. While I would’ve loved to experience it for myself watching it with so much detail was so great. Thank you Michelle ❤️

Leah Lit there is a reason to have fear. To have fear you can make choices that can save your life in situations but having no fear at all won’t help you in all situations. Sometimes it can get you killed. If your panicking you focus about saving your life and you have fear. But fear is something that depends on the circumstances.
I like seeing other people’s humor. Very interesting. Reason why it’s interesting is cause it didn’t make me laugh. But it made someone else laugh. Which I find kinda cool in a way if that makes sense 😂🙂

I have been checking most of your videos, and was thinking of a few additional Challenges for you to (hopefully) accept. - Programming - Create something original. Whether it's a website, a mobile app or a PC program, make something original from scratch using any programming / scripting languages you want. - Languages - Learn any language outside your comfort zone at a basic conversational level, and test it in the native country. If you were to choose Romanian or Estonian, I would feel really proud of that :D - Dancing - Learn any kind of dance style (preferably with a partner, preferably with Garrett :D ) that you have never attempted before. I hope you get to see this comment :D Thank you for making such quality content, we are looking forward to more!

Doug Hurley, the other astronaut she's married to, is currently in space. And the other guy who went up with him, Bob Behnken, is married to an astronaut too ! So these two astronaut couples each have a son. And apparently, when it was time to pick a 0-g indicator (soft toy) for their Dragon capsule, the two dads rounded up all the dino toys in the two houses, and had the boys pick one. They picked the sparkly one !
I went here the other day on a special tour and it was fascinating to see everything. I saw the huge 40ft pool, Mission Control, used aircrafts, real spacesuits, and much more. It’s inspiring.

Being an astronaut is my dream job since i was 2 years old! I'm 12 now (going to turn 13) some people told me that to work for NASA you would have to be american, but no, i am spanish and i speak six languages, and nothing is going to stop me from accomplishing my dream job ❤💖
You do it! Being an astronaut isnt an American thing only. There are more than just NASA for space programs. And many times countries partner up like the US and Japan. So, look into it.

Michelle, your videos are really inspiring, and the multitude of skills you showcase that are generally considered „talent” show that anyone can really do anything if they actually try enough.
I have been checking most of your videos, and was thinking of a few additional Challenges for you to (hopefully) accept.
- Programming - Create something original. Whether it's a website, a mobile app or a PC program, make something original from scratch using any programming / scripting languages you want.
- Languages - Learn any language outside your comfort zone at a basic conversational level, and test it in the native country. If you were to choose Romanian or Estonian, I would feel really proud of that :D
- Dancing - Learn any kind of dance style (preferably with a partner, preferably with Garrett :D ) that you have never attempted before.

Doug Hurley, the other astronaut she's married to, is currently in space. And the other guy who went up with him, Bob Behnken, is married to an astronaut too ! So these two astronaut couples each have a son. And apparently, when it was time to pick a 0-g indicator (soft toy) for their Dragon capsule, the two dads rounded up all the dino toys in the two houses, and had the boys pick one. They picked the sparkly one !

I went here the other day on a special tour and it was fascinating to see everything. I saw the huge 40ft pool, Mission Control, used aircrafts, real spacesuits, and much more. It’s inspiring.

Being an astronaut is my dream job since i was 2 years old! I'm 12 now (going to turn 13) some people told me that to work for NASA you would have to be american, but no, i am spanish and i speak six languages, and nothing is going to stop me from accomplishing my dream job ❤💖

Just get your American citizenship and boom...if that is what you want. You could also be a cosmonaut in Russia which is basically the same thing.
You do it! Being an astronaut isnt an American thing only. There are more than just NASA for space programs. And many times countries partner up like the US and Japan. So, look into it.
