Its different in each state, especially for lifers. Here in Cali, a lifer parole hearing aint no joke. Hours of questioning and you have to show that you understand what took place in your life that led you to do what you did. Then you have to demonstrate why you're no longer that person and what caused you to change. I had been in for 22 yrs at my 1st parole hearing in 2013. I got denied, went back in 2015 and was granted parole. Stepped out after 24 yrs. Been home 7 years now and I'm so grateful to God🙏

You can't fake what the second guy was putting out there. He is without a doubt a changed man. It hit me right in the feels when he got the unanimous decision for parole.
Crazy to think how unprepared some of these guys are. You’ve had decades to prepare for this moment, all you need to show is remorse, that you’ve progressed & you’re no longer a risk to society.
I went before the Louisiana parole board back in 1999 along with 6 other men from the same facility, and none of them were lifers, but I was the only one granted parole on that day. I had 7 family members that had driven from New Orleans to the parole hearing to show support for me, and I firmly believe that it played a huge part in getting paroled. I only served 26 months in total upon my release, and I've never looked back. I've been back in the world for 23 years now, and I know that I've been blessed. Being on paper for three years after release, and the first 8 months I had an ankle bracelet on, went by quickly because I was home. You know the saying, "your worst day on the streets is still better than your best day locked up."

As someone who is currently on parole it's so nerve-racking...I got released from prison Dec 5th, 2022... I've been sober for almost 3 years now and I'm just loving being free.
Also the parole board in Tennessee women's prison isn't like that. It's just one person who decides to recommend parole face to face and then you have to wait for the rest to vote on whether they agree with the recommendations.

Thanks for what you do. Sometimes i want to go back, just cuz the outside can be such an overwhelming hassle. Your channel gives me that taste of familiarity, and reminds me Id rather see it on youtube than in person. Youre a big reason why I started my own channel. Way different subject matter. But youre an inspiration to me all the same. Tryna live my Cinderalla story too lol. I for real cried when dude got his parole approved. Makes me grateful im still out here. Despite those moments of weakness where i just wanna go back, where I know what to do everyday. Freedom can be too much ... freedom sometimes. Proud of you man. @@timothytaylor7710 What makes you think he'd do something to get locked up? Joining a gang is a choice, taking a life is a choice and choices have consequences. I guarantee you'd have a different viewpoint if someone took your child's life at 13 yrs old, but it seems pretty obvious that you don't have any children with that attitude.
@@daveyboyd784 your right joining a gang is a choice . But sometimes the only other choice you have is to be extorted , beaten , rapped , turned out into a Skittles lip stick little bitch, and or more extreme beat to death. So yeah there's a choice .
Now having said that it's more often after you already are in prison for something to have such the extreme choices but not all people in prison are there because they actually did anything that would cause harm to anyone or even have a victim in the first place . Perfect examples of things that shouldn't be offenses punishable by prison and is victimless is drugs and prostitution. Which over half the people in prison are drug related .

Reposition the smoke alarm 12 feet from the stove top. This will decrease the amount of "nuisance" alarms and still provide adequate protection from kitchen fires.

Im in fire academy. Check your attic because fire can smolder for weeks without too much damage in your insulation. Also replace your fire alarm, not the batteries the actual device every 10 years or whenever you move in somewhere new. Stay safe

Frfr stay free and keep your head up brother also death your videos helped me after I got out of juvenile when I was 14 I got locked up and then also had three years of probation after all of your content and videos helped me a lot get off probation and stay free so keep it up

Probation life hack.....
Step 1 , pay all fines and court cost and pass drug test
Step 2 , ask PO how much total Probation fees are, pay at next visit
Step 3, 4th or 5th visit they will offer unsupervised Probation
Step 4, stay out of any trouble including speeding/jaywalking/any violation of the law outside your own home
Jay walking is wild as a crime, can't imagine getting penalised for crossing a road.

Not everyone deserves a second chance, and I am glad I am not the person who gets to make that call.
But we were all 16 once, that was a LONG time ago.
He is not the same man.
I hope he can make something of his life and somehow manage to make at least one persons life better.
If he does that, this was the correct decision.
