His mother asked for mercy and the sentence he received was merciful. The fact that he gets to go on living is mercy he doesn't deserve. From now on, every book he reads, every friendship he forms, every visit with his family, every class he takes or skill he learns, every meal he enjoys, every moment of his life, is pure mercy. Because his victim gets to do none of those things.

I mean it shows that he not tuff at all that he is a kid that made a mistake. A heartless murderer doesn't feel i don't think. He was feeling his mother speach. He did murder someone and like 5 other people attempt murder right. He went the wrong way in his life somewhere and it only takes one mistake then your gone. You can kill someone with one punch. What he was charged with 2nd degree murder and 5 attempts i think. Don't break the law and don't hurt people simple. I like to use these saying alot. when you live by the sword you will die by it. Also its an unfortunate trap for the people growing up in gang culture because it is blasted 24/7 to the community threw Hollywood news and everything else. I mean i think everyone knows who crip mac is right. Its just the continuation of the cycle that i think the gov lets it happen and is responsible for it. More liquor stores then anything. The School's suck and the area sucks. A lot has to be fixed in the community's to make them safe neighborhoods. To many drugs and volient people. Theres 12 year olds shooting guns in the air and selling crack. They kick in your door rob you. They wild as hell and you don't even need to live in the projects to experience crazy people. You can't call the police because people afraid they have to live there. So i do believe Hollywood and the government play some role in the Creation of everything in the usa from the kkk to the Hebrew Israelites. Its just my opinion these control threw media school and at home. I think the parents are responsible for raising him. What you learn early on continues threw life. So grow up hate is a weak emotion like star says. Once you realize the culture was created for you to destroy yourself. They get told what to say and do the influencers in everything. Everyone is fake nobody is real and nobody cares. There is so many lanes but whatever its all the same for some people effected by the phases of Hollywood and social media. The prisons is a business what continues a business coustmers. If there is no crime there is no coustmers. Just like the medicine companys if things where cured people could not make billions of dollars off people. The world could be a better place but i think there is to many people not doing there job. Why do we have drugs still here and homeless people continue to increase. Theres alot of issues how the poorest people get drugs?? Makes no sense once so ever how i can get a gun faster then getting help from someone. How is there just so many guns delivered right to your doorstep? Theres so many things to talk about and explain. Thats just what i like to do. I like to think brainstorm. Anyways what you think?

I can relate somewhat in that I used to hold my niece after feeding her when she was a baby, I'd tell her I would always be there for her, and like him I was proven wrong for a good 7 years because of my stupid azz drug addiction, when coming honest with my family, my brother in law understandably kept me from her, for the most part I'd see her every once in a while, but going from babysitting her 8 hours a day, several days a week from 3 months until she was in kindergarten, to seeing her maybe 4 times a year, I felt like I lost soul. The fate of a man is nothing trivial.

Dude got a smooth 150 piece McNugget. This is senseless and I can’t imagine the immense amount of heartbreak and absolute loss that woman’s father lives with. There’s nothing hard about mag dumping into a group of unsuspecting innocents. Shit goes much differently on the two way firing range. In both Iraq and Afghanistan many of the enemy combatants I was involved in engaging as both an 11B with the 82nd 1st/504th and a designated defensive marksman with Triple Canopy were quite adept at murdering and terrorizing unarmed locals for various reasons. However when faced with a gunfight against a group of well armed, kitted and trained individuals they quickly became blocks of human ballistic gel. That’s not to say we didn’t come across numerous locals who had fought in dozens of gunfights regardless of them not being a member of a nationally recognized state sponsored military, those individuals at times would show a slight resemblance of small unit tactics, unit cohesion and a fundamental understanding of maximizing the lethality of their various weapons systems they employed.

@Pureblood Tartarian my dad once told me any tool can be used for killing, and there's nothing wrong with a hammer wielded by a sane worker who isn't fooling around. Problem is, humans are incredibly fragile and guns are tools designed only for harming and killing, even if it can be argued that hunting and defending your sheep from beasts is noble and valid, as is defending your life/property or loved ones.

I have two daughters (ages 10 and 15) and although I (thank God) do not know the pain of a mother who lost her child to murder, I DO know that they would have to handcuff me to something to keep me from doing everything in my power to make physical contact with the person who did that to my child... especially when he's sitting in the same room with me and clearly doesn't have a fucking remorseful bone in his body!
If I wasn't successful in my physical attack (which I know is unlikely as there are too many guards to protect these pieces of human trash inside the courtroom... unfortunately) I would definitely have A LOT more words for this defendant than this woman had. This is most likely the last opportunity she will have to say what she needs to say to the person who took her daughters life.... make it count! Make sure your words are cold and without mercy... just as he was to your child. Make sure your words cut so deep, they are the last words he hears before closing his eyes every single night and the first ones he hears upon waking every single morning.

He was positively identified by people he shot and others that were present.
His false claims of innocence and his mother's self delusional fantasy that he's innocent were not supported by the established facts of the case, nor by the evidence presented or witnesses and victims statements.
The jury made the right decision as did the judge in his sentencing.
Any person that attends a public venue and attempts to murder 6 innocent, unarmed and defenceless people can never again be set free.

Let's say they decided to only prosecute him on the m*rder charge, and drop everything else. Let's say he's convicted and get's life. In this case, if he were to appeal and beat the charge, he'd walk free.
