It was adorable When he was cooking with the "MAC DADDY" of risotto, and called him papa 2 damn cute.
I just want to meet the prosecco guy. So chill, relaxed and funny. Love to have his voice on a GPS. Viva Italia!!!
The guy fishing in his speedos is the most Italian thing you see all year 😂👍
Don’t forget the gold chain
*Speedo.... singular, not plural........

venice is such a beautiful place
Wonderful show with offbeat scenes of Venice and great food. Much (but not all) of the background music was Vivaldi, who was Venetian. The video featured some of the concerti con molti strumenti (many instruments). Vivaldi has a wide range of works beyond "Le Quattro Stagioni." (The Four Seasons)
Thank you, I was going to ask about the music. Really enjoying it.

The soft shell crabs are so nice. My mother in law was from Treviso. She used to put them alive in flour and egg. ,They kind of batter themselves from the inside. They were amazing.
Just a recommendation to anyone visiting Veneto.
Ask a locals about the restaurants where the lorry drivers go for fish. The food is amazing.
Looking nice...
Lmao the girl at 20:59 in the pink shirt on the bike is me! My grandpa and father are the owners of the Gatto Nero restaurant!!
Thats really cool.
no its not your from UK
So what
@@alexhunt990 I'm Italian actually but ok sweaty
@@dougraddi908 you're very cool
Very nice!!!!
Wonderful video and great recipes Jamie. You’re the best 🥰. I am not a friend of risotto thus is the only thing. Question : would it be ok to slice the carpaccio thinner from the start and smaller ? The tiramisu looks fabulous just a tad concerned of the raw six eggs even if mixed with so many other ingredients !
I fucking love your videos.... raw, fun, and educational stuff too
i will watch this now i love food -
Follow Jamie's recipe to the letter and it will turn out so delicious, Italian words will spill from your mouth spontaneously., LOL, ....Delicioso! ! Fantastico! Bellisimo!
Actually it's "deliZioso" e "belliSSimo"
Thanks, i appreciate the lesson.
Damn, Costadilà wine is one of coolest and craziest wine by now, literally mind blowing using it for a Bellini 🧡 love it
Royal tiramisu!
Man this brings back memories. My family visited venice once. I remember seeing like *all* of this D:
I was lucky enough to visit Venice and I tell you honestly that I never saw an unattractive Venetian. Beautiful people All. And they were all charming and helpful. Of course this was in late October after the tourist rush. Still...
i love your vadio :D
Actually Jamie, I am Italian, I live here in the Philippines, and I make Pasta & sauces right here !
Would love to learn your recipes. :) I terribly love italian cuisine. Living in manila
The squid ink! it tastes amazing.. make the risotto!!
5:43 "Should we go and catch them all?" Legend hahaha

Sorrento Express Ltd thank you so much for this video. I'd seen it a while back and kept looking for it recently!
bravo
Jamie got some nice environments
If your ever in Trieste try the fish soup . To die for
Hermoso🎉❤
Literally amazing 😊🥰
14:34 I knew that in the risotto "parmigiana" you put the butter (not oil) in a pan with the onion and so will toast the rice. Then, at the end of cooking takes place the "mantecare": is putting into the pan (cooker fire off) other fresh butter and parmigiano reggiano / grana padano, making sure to stir well before serving it ...then each one does as he wants. :)
You got it, man! What you said is totally right! That's how italians and especially we venetians ('cause risotto is a tipical venetian dish) use to make a real risotto
But you know... The most of the people you can see in the video actually are not venetians
El Fonque The "risotto" as you know is also typical throughout the Po Valley, as the rice fields are present in various provinces such as Novara, Pavia, Vercelli, and more! "Risotto alla Milanese" yellow (saffron) with "osso buco" (braised veal), "Alla Monzese" with saffron, pork sausage. If I'm not mistaken in Pavia and Novara, the "risotto" is also made with the thighs of a frog. At the foot of the Alps do it with mushrooms, preferably mushroom "chanterelles" , "chiodini" mushrooms and porcini mushrooms ... and again in dozens of different ways. ;) Bye
Yes that's true:) I just didn't explain well... Saying risotto is a tipical venetian dish i didn't mean that it is just a venetian dish. As you say, risotto is tipical of a lot of province in the north of Italy, not just in Veneto... I just wanted to highlight that people from the south of Italy shouldn't show on TV how to make venetian or, more generally, a north tipical dishes. Sorry for not having been clear:)
El Fonque but you know in books I have read venetians are the origin of rissotto.
Which song or soundtrack is used from 31:40 to 33:00? It's so beautiful and classic! Can someone give me the name of the song, please?
@John Gilmore I just listened to the song. It's not like the song used in this episode.
Jamies face in the water with the speedo guy.. xD
Jamie Oliver is such a wonderful representative of our country. He's humble enough to respect the food and the wisdom of other countries, but he doesn't just sit there blowing smoke up their arse, he gets stuck in and is confident enough to make, and even adapt their food. A great man.
Jamie Oliver went to an Italian Village, shot a Wild Boar ,and Cooked for the Entire Local Populace.
He took advice from a dozen Grandma's who all gave poor Jamie conflicting advice.
He had to organise a freaking Barbeque for the Wild Boar he shot and butchered, while getting advice from every Cook in The Village.
Jamie Oliver has Balls of Steel.
The Italians had A Feast.
I am sooooo hungry!
Risottos reminds me of the American Grits, it's just an excuse to eat butter. In Risottos case, it's an excuse to eat lots of butter, olive oil, + cheese!
It's nice to see Venice any time even though I have been to Venice 3 times, including the beginning of the carnival in 2012, never forget the wine fountain + parties!
Did anyone notice that the camera man forgot to put his focus lenses on? it's seems very blur, or this is a copy of the tv show?
From Venice show possible to get recipies?
Prosecco ❤
I've worked for Cipriani in harry's bar
I have never met Jamie but it's nice to c that we both have been to Venice 🌎ps Jamie were is ur speedo🤣😅😂
Oliveoil. Jamies favourite ingredient xD
I want to be there now, because it looks so delicious 🤤🤤🤤😂🤣😭 !!!

23:48 this is very true, it's very true, but also it is reason why I ended up with one. The best decision of my life!

What was the name of the Prosecco bar?
WOW HE'S TURNING AROUND THE GLASS WITH SPARKLKING WINE IN IT ! AHHAHAHAHAHALMFAO
carlo gigli: Why the rudeness? So unnecessary.

"I'm after some vongalayi."
- "Vongole."
- "Sì, Vongoli. Err, for spaghetti vongolayi..."
39:51 - muchos gentile😂😂
What´s the name of the Song in 10.43 ?
vivaldi - inverno. but you can hear it has been "refreshed" with some modern stuff.
„That Woooh-A.“.
Dear Jamie. Asian countries serve dishes that are black. Some use squid like the black soba from japan, and some don't use them even though they're black. For example Rawon from Indonesia.
Hi Ichie. Its nice for a Japanese to know a dish from Indonesia. Thank you. In my opinion, Japanese cuisine is one of the most sophisticated cuisine in the world. On par with the French.
I'm from Venice... I personally find silly that in this video the people are not locals. I mean, Jamie went to Venice and all the italians he mets were from south of Italy... Just to precise that people from Venice and north of Italy don't have the accent you can hear in the video and we are not so noisy
Yes but venetians are the most loud of northern italy 😜
Haha that's problably true!
i lived in venice for a year, and i know exactly what you mean haha, im suprised he didnt go to the market to buy off some africans :P
also, lets be honest, out of all the Italian food, venetian is probably the worst, its literally just fish ahha...except the drink...the drinks 10/10
I disagree.. Of course a city like Venice has many tipical fish dishes but there is a lot more.
Wath about risi e bisi, fegato alla veneziana, fritole, baicoli and galani?
"Where in the world you can get a dish that is black?"
Cuba, Puerto Rico= Congri
South Korea= jajangmyeon
Brazil= Feijoada
thejompi what are each of those dishes made of pls?
Jack Cooper Congri is black beans and rice cooked together the black beans stain the rice making it look black. jajangmyeon are noodles in black bean sauce. Feijoada is a stew made with pork parts, linguiça and black beans topped with farofa and eaten with rice.
Hes british and he forgot about black pudding
Germany: tote Oma (Bloodsausage+Potatomash+Sauerkraut+ drippings from the fried Sausage)
you didn't really say anything.
9.02 save some of that wo ah.
very nice
why haven't you done Sorrento.?
In most shows they would have cut out the mistakes...this is funny they left in that Jamie broke the guys window...Jamie shoud have removed his hat for lunch
Good muscles....
The champagne guy at 22:00 kinda looks like Einstein.
Actually like Gene Wilder
👍👍👍
23:42 aboslutely pissed hahahhaaaaaaa
cool... but no sardee in saor :P ihih
I thought he was taking them 3 risottos to be tasted and then some weird camera work happened
ok
Brilliant:)
(Please when can don’t use frying pans with that non-stick coating, as can see it scratches off likely getting in the cooking of dish🙌🏼💗✌🏼🍁)
A casa mia la pasta la mettiamo quando bolle l'acqua😳😱
hermoso material,le sugiero filmar con algo mas sofisticado.saludos.
😍🥰😍😍🥰😍😍🥰
The prosecco guy looks like Einstein
the only british man that wants to be italian..
Maybe the inmates have been rewarded with good behaviour and minimal security, but that has to be the most luxurious prison in the world. The sun is shining, they have a beautiful garden....and even a cat!
loved it! but.... why wasting so much bellini!!! :(
If you shread the cheese its not Parmesan.
O LE CIPOLLE O L'AGLIO
a litt-l brudoo
Dear Jamie...the pastina for the minestrone is wrong....too delicate. This kind of pasta is eaten with chicken or beef broth
Ummm is in Venice EVERYTHING about fish and/or frutti di mare? Do not misunderstand me, I love both, but it seems that those are the only meat existing in Venice.
Beach, hairy chest guy, tight spandex. Cant be more Italian than that
you ate them alive....
This series is so much better then Jamie cooks Italy witch is cringy as fuck
Wonderful episode but he should have lost the hat during dinner.
