Men miss this world more than anything, women and men both had their parts. The west only did what they did so they could tax 100% of the family instead of 50%.
Gennaro - I never met Antonio Carluccio - but it saddens me so much when I see his videos. He is the one who taught me how to cook Bolognese & Carbonaro. You are lucky to have had such seemingly good friend. I do admire the greedy videos. Thank you for sharing.
Ah, wonderful memories, thank you for giving us such an educative and very interesting adventures of two of the best cheffs in the world. We all miss Antonio soo much😢. Gennaro, you are the master of cooking ❤😊
It remains heartwarming to see "Two Greedy Italians" again, featuring Gennaro and Antonio (may he rest in peace). Their approach, infused with passion, a touch of mischief, and pure joy for food, has left a lasting impression on me. The fact that the series, despite being released many years ago, still brings me joy to watch, attests to the timeless charm that Gennaro and Antonio bring with them.
I've traveled the world and there is no place like Italy which for me is like a second home - its like all the good things located in one place - language, culture, history, art, food and amazing people. for the next generations to come i hope it won't change for the bad.
Thanks for uploading the full episodes. It's great to see this gem doesn't get lost in time. I like the combination of cultural and food education a lot.
Thank you Genaro and Antonio for taking us back in town. Your exceptional recipes are so delicious indeed. It's very informative at the same time as well, showing us the different places in Italy. R.I.P. Antonio. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Gennaro, Happy Ney Year! I have learned a lot from you and Antonio, you both are a treasure to myself and many others and I can only hope you can understand how well you are loved by those you have shared yourself with.
It’s so wonderful to see this. This a pranzo domenicale we always had. I miss this since the family has spread and the nonni are gone. I’m inspired. Grazzie
I remember seeing this video, during the first part of the pandemic when I found these shows. Thank you for sharing this again. I am full Italian and my family are all from Trentino-alto Adige. I love making polenta and pastas, as well as our local foods. The part of this episode with the "foo foo" small portion, I remember from the first time I saw this episode. Being Italian, at least for me, when I go to a restaurant and see a large plate with a tiny swirl of pasta or other food, is like an insult to me. A good portion size or I will not eat there. Il cibo è buono, ma le dimensioni delle porzioni sono una vergogna, un peccato, molto male.I agree going to that restaurant in Rome, that was a disgrace, an insult. Nothing is worse that being hungry after eating. Thank you for sharing!
i just found this and the "we are starving, time to get cooking" made me want to cook! i will be trying the roast , seared and cooked in the veggie n' wine sauce . that made my mouth water
My sense tells me that maybe the food is not for a Chinese stomach, but they are in the lovely town with the delightful back ground music and the way they talk to each other simply make the food so temptation.
"Everyone knows Italians make the best lovers" "He is the same age as me, and has just married his fifth wife." Because nothing says best lovers like four divorces 🤣🤣 Definitely appreciate the visit to the divorced dad kitchen, really positive story :)
I sometimes stumble over them and I am always happy to listen to their stories. Nevertheless: I learned that Bucatini all'amatriciana are made with guanciale and you do not add olive oil. The guanciale renders enough fat. Antonio, I am planning to meet you in heaven. We'll enjoy cooking and eating and I am eager to listen to more of your stories.
I live in Le Marche. In every village, there is a posse of men gathered together, at a bar at a petrol station, wtachign what`s going on. We call them The Vigili. Where are the women? At home, making lunch. The positives are that these same grandparents will often be collecting and feeding the children of their children. It`s a system that results in family cohesion. Another interesting thing is that the men would never dream of visiting another village or another bar. They are home.
Rest easy Antonio....
You are still cherished.....
Bravo.....
Miss these two together.
😢 so true
Indeed😢
yep
me too i have their books
Men miss this world more than anything, women and men both had their parts. The west only did what they did so they could tax 100% of the family instead of 50%.

Without a doubt life is easier for a man in Italy.
