Thank you for having Prof. Seyfried on, he is brilliant. I have follicular lymphoma, was stage 4 twice in 2 yrs, 3 yrs of chemos. but nothing helped as much as high fat carnivore diet, and few lifestyle changes, I have been in remission 10yrs now, no further relapse, NO medications, no further treatments!

      So happy for you! 🎉
I'm trying to get my husband who has f. l. 4 from a keto on to a carnivore diet. He's not convinced yet (but I'm the one who does the cooking... 😅)
      Keep on healing! 🙏🏻

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last November and immediately cut out sugar then went keto. I did Richards’s healthy living course to learn more and did and continue to do natural therapies such as oxygen therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, red light therapy and vitamin supplements. I have had no medical intervention and now am unable to find the lump. So thank you Richard and professor seyfield whose work I came across early on in my journey 🙏

This was excellent!!! If something is continually plugged as being genetic (I state the obvious) then NO PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY has to be taken. Someone said to me only yesterday in commmets ‘when you take responsibility you become empowered’ and that’s seriously good

If that stuff worked, it would be perfect!😂
Certainly, there are some important arguments. However, cancer cells form a complex system that is unpredictable. While in some special cases keto diet with glutamine inhibition may work perfectly, there are the other once where it does not. 39% of prostate cancer do not react to that kind of intervention

All of this 'rings true' to my information gathering. I'm now also going down the rabbit hole of 'quantum biology, light, sunlight, mitochondria dysfunction, indoor LED light toxicity, vitamin D3/hormone and mitochondrial melatonin sufficiency with daylight exposure, and regularly (every two daylight hours) near infra red light from daylight'. This is deep rabbit hole, but with a lot of daylight in that hole. I'd like very much to hear both of you comment about the degree of peering down this rabbit hole you may have done. All of this light in quantum biology information, seems to me to be so very additive and synergistic to all of the points you are making in this presentation, so I'm looking forward to any 'light' that you can clarify further into the directions toward prevention of these chronic progressions, even more importantly than the so obvious need for better treatments! Thank you for such wonderful insight from your work already!

I have Sq. Cell carcinoma Grade-1, Stage-0. Cancer treatment is highly expensive . Doctor suggested 4 cycle chemotherapy. Then, after 3 weeks they might suggest to do a PET CT SCAN. But i have no more money. So I decided to start Kito-Diet to defeat cancer. And here in my country 99.99% food contains Sugar.

Always had a bit of skepticism about devices at our disposal at the current technological level. When things are this small, how do we know that what we see through a device is what is actually there, rather than what we are being shown by a device. Shouldn’t the validity of an image verified via fine tuning a device using images we have no idea about to begin with?

Hello Richard. Thank you for a great interview with Prof Seyfried. I have been ketogenic since 2016 and am a LADA after being Type 2 diabetic from 2003,
I do use long acting insulin in a split dose of around 5/6 units daily . My question is being a long term keto carnivore my ketones are never very high and with the insulin use it will be lower still. How
Can I get into the GKI zone of 2 or less

Just learned there’s something called the reverse kerbs cycle. It sounds exactly like the result of fermentation pathway with the reduced ATP output.
is there a way to perform mitogenesis in a can_cerous cell? Or is killing it the only way to get rid of the C cell?

      Krebs Cycle (Citric Acid Cycle)
Krebs cycle, named after its discoverer Hans Kreb is an essential part of aerobic cellular respiration in eukaryotes. It is also named the citric acid cycle from the first molecule, citrate, which forms during the reaction. Due to three carboxyl groups on its first two intermediates, it has another name, the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) acid cycle.
Prior to the Krebs cycle, pyruvic acid (the product of glycolysis), which has three carbon atoms, is split apart and combined with coenzyme A, forming a two-carbon molecule acetyl-CoA. It then uses acetyl CoA, performs a series of redox reactions, and stores the energy in reduced electron carriers NADH, FADH2, and ATP. The electron carriers then pass their electrons into the electron transport chain and, through oxidative phosphorylation, generate most of the ATP in cellular respiration.

Are ketones the same as all fatty acids? If not do all fats need oxygen to be metabolised? Do c cells use fats to produce atp or are fats/lipids just needed to make a new cell lining etc?

    •  Місяць тому +1

Ketones are water soluble, fatty acids are lipophilic

    •  Місяць тому

Cancer cells shift from using fatty acids and ketone bodies for energy to fermenting glucose and glutamine and using the Krebs cycle. All because of damage to mitochondrial respiration.

I don't think man was always in a state of ketosis. The absence of carbs in the diet is not necessarily a ketogenic diet
