- TAYLOR MADE STEALTH HD IRON, COULD THIS BE THE ANSWER?
Slicing the ball is not fun and neither is not being able to get any height on the ball. Taylor Made's Stealth HD iron could be the answer you have been looking for. This particular lump of metal from the boffins at Taylor Made sets out to offer as much help as is manufacturingly (made up word) possible to make golf, for a certain profile of player, that little bit more enjoyable. Have a look at this review if you currently hate the way you are hitting your irons and maybe, just maybe, you might have stumbled on the answer to all your problems.

I like utility irons I think these would give you a set of them, I use zx7 irons and now struggling and usually play on wet soft course. I like these
Yes, that's a good way of describing them. Very friendly clubs. Good for the course conditions you're describing.
Have you done anything on the Cleveland Launcher XL iron set (Srixon, XXIO)? I’m told it is similar to Wilson Dynapower, Callaway Paradym Max X, etc.
No, I don't know a lot about them, I don't stock Cleveland. I've heard of them and I'm sure they're good but I'm afraid I can't stock everything. Until the manufacturers start throwing things at me, I'll be slightly limited to what I have to hand. If I get a chance I will do it though. Thanks for watching by the way.
Are these irons mainly aimed at high handicappers ?
As was thinking of getting them as my favourite clubs are the hybrids I carry and have read that the stealth hd are like a hybrid iron is that correct?
I am a 8 handicap
Yes they are very similar to hybrids in the way that they interact with the ground. If you feel more comfortable with hybrids then your swing characteristics are obviously more suited to that design of club, so despite your lower than average handicap then yes they could well suit you. You might need to be careful what shaft you get, so that they don't go too high.
@@golffm6924 thanks for the reply
My irons are the weakest part of my game
I can de so inconsistent at times with them but I’m so confident when I hit my hybrids
You mention be careful what shaft I get
What type of shaft would make them go to high?
As standard these clubs will come with a shaft that deliberately tries to launch the ball high, because the main reason for these clubs is to help people get them in the air properly. Any True Temper Dynamic Gold shaft will generally hit the ball slightly lower, there are lots of different weights and types but they will at least not try to launch it too high, but I don't know, maybe you do want that!
@@golffm6924 I’m going to go and try the clubs out at the weekend and get fitted and go from there
I actually think these are great for beginners if they're willing to spend that kind of money
yes, they're not cheap but would be good for most beginners
