Bryson was 100% right about his UA-cam filming. I was absolutely not a fan. Watched some of his videos, his explanations of his play, and melted the ice. Watching his approach to golf and each aspect from drivers, to irons, to wedges, and putting.... Playing the course and not just yardages. He's in my favs. HE definitely changed my opinion and that doesn't happen easily. I hope he continues to be an absolute killer on the course!
How Bryson recalls his 58 with such clear detail tells you all you need to know about this man. he's the real deal and has invested his life into this game. All the best to him 👏
Loved the lesson Bryson gave you on his channel - Going to use the bunker drill when I'm giving my lessons! Looking forward to collab content between you two!!!!
Comes across as a really positive guy who works really hard to attain the really high standards he has achieved. Great golfer and entertainer. One of the few golfers I’d love to watch live.
Watching Bryson's you tube channel has made me a fan of his. Besides being a fabulous player he is pretty humble and very knowledgeable with the techniques of golf. As for the Lakers, they were the Minneapolis MN lakers till 1960 then moved to LA.
I really wish they would do an annual Ryder Cup style event LIV vs PGA top 12 from each tour face off head to head get sponsors and put up a huge purse.
Bryson is the real deal for sure. You can just tell he's genuine and loves what he does. That's something not many people get to experience! keep up the good work Rick. it's nice to see someone like Bryson who takes time to show who he really is.
Absolutely mental to watch some of Rick's super earliest videos, doing the chipping drills etc ages ago, and realize it's the same guy as this one casually having a chinwag with a high profile tour pro - what a journey.
It's watered down tour nothing at stake just a club. They are not really competing because they got the money already. So the golf is kinda a sideshow everything already done before play starts and there's no historical tournaments. Just a bunch of drinking buddies that have low handicap
I was like most people had reservation about Bryson but he has changed my mind when he was on the pod cast first time. And now I follow him and learn so much too 🎉🎉🎉
Bryson is such a good likeable guy and remember everyone thought it was him who was the problem with Koepka. How wrong that was. Great guest and golfer. Hope he wins more majors
Remember seeing his -12 round live on UA-cam and when he holed his 40 footer on 18th I was standing up screaming my lungs out. The shotgun start in LIV is really nice for the audience since we can watch every player under 4,5 hrs and you always know the score and importens of every shot.
Funny... it was Minneapolis, Bryson... the Minneapolis Lakers. Minnesota, the "Land Of 10,000 Lakes". And there isn't a single natural lake in Los Angeles!! Great interview. I grew to dislike Bryson because of his propensity for change. While I'm not an advocate of changing the game of golf for personal gain, I've truly grown to like Bryson and his educated personality. He's genuine... whether you like him or not.
Im not saying this as a compliment to Bryson (no offense to him. He seems nice) but I think this was one of your best interviews youve done. Super good flow, you asked great questions, asked hard questions at the right times. Well done sir
Love that Bryson is so honest. He said right from the start. “Going to LIV for the money. I lost a lot or respect for some of the golfers pretending it was nothing to do with money. Love his content and his scientific approach to the game. I probably won’t watch any Liv event but I look forward to seeing him do well at the majors. 👊💪
Awesome interview, Bryson has dissected the game of golf and is paving the way for players to influence club manufactures to fit their needs. Bryson's enthusiasm displays his love of the game and his willingness to bring it through alternate sources to build its popularity, especially in younger players. Keep up the good work.
Hands down, my favorite interview! Rick was flawless with his questions and timing and @BrysonDeChambeau was beyond candid! This is a winning format and a homerun of a product! Thank you for doing this!
Loving the sunset in the background, starts of light and you can see it gradually getting darker. Amazing chat (wouldn't even call it an interview) between you both. Bryson is a top bloke.
Absolutely loved all of the Bryson content and will definitely be having a look at his channel. Comes across as a really great guy. Keep up the awesome content Rick and the team.
He is probably one of the nicest and genuine golfers out there , he has time for everyone , always loved this guy from day one , great up bringing by great parents, he has never forgotten his roots, o e level headed lovely guy
Thanks so much. Loved this podcast. Bryson is inspiring, even for me, a senior golfer. I love his mindset and approach to golf. So much learning. And fun!!!
I got back into golf about 3 months ago. I found ricks channel and loved it, instant subscriber. I found Bryson shortly after and instantly became a fan.
That was great thanks both of you. An open conversation with a genuine golf loving professional. Can’t wait to see some of those video suggestions you made come to fruition
Its a great kids game. We need to see more of the best of them. And it keeps a lot of 80 even 90year olds fit for longer. These guys never lose their love of the game.
Hearing in detail from a player's perspective has helped me to understand the move to LIV with a more open mind. Bryson seems honest and passionate about his life and his golf. Who can fault that. Your handling of the interview was also top class Rick. Be phenomenal !!!!👏👏👏
FYI-Joaquin Neiman qualified to play at the 2024 British Open by recently winning the ISPS Handa Australian Open, along with Adam Scott, Rikuya Hoshino and Min Woo Lee, who won the week before.
I genuinely didn't like Bryson before the LIV stuff, but I can't deny his ability and the attention he has brought to the game. This was a great interview and fun to listen to. Thanks to both guys for sitting down and doing it.
Comes across as proper down to earth guy, as technical as they come but only wanting best for the game and family nobody can deny that from any human. hope he wins a major I think he will do well in US ones as more open courses to UK and over here some of it is tee times for wind weather. look forward to what's to come
I think all the crazy challenges make him more creative and resilient. Final round of the US Open his tee shot finds a sand filled divot. A bad break but when he just played a match with hickory shafted clubs or a junior set, a sand filled divot isn’t a problem.
When commenting on the 'Greatest Game Ever', being in the zone is one of the best feelings you can have playing this awesome game. Have had it a couple of times and had my best round of 66 (-5)
What a fantastic podcast. This was very insightful and informative. I love his passion. Great to see another side of a player that often rubs people the wrong way. Once again, the attitude of LIV golfers v's PGA players (for the most part, not all) is a credit to them. #flusher.
Such a chilled dude love his UA-cam content and I’m a big fan of LIV was gutted when I heard it wasn’t in London this coming year I think JCB is a bit far for me to travel but was going to go to the centurion if it was there 🙄never mind lol
I will always root for Bryson as I'm an avid single length irons guy all the way. But he has grown so much that my appreciation goes beyond that alone. Loved this. Stay metal. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Great podcast, real insight for once. Well done Rick , also so many good potential ideas, need to copyright those for when they use them!😂 Would love to see at least one of them happen.
Bryson is pure class! Watched him at Royal Lytham when he captained the USA Walker Cup. On the last match out he played Ashley Chesters. On the ist hole Ashley hit a poor putt maybe 3-4foot short. Bryson had maybe 25ft for a birdie. He gave Ashley his putt…told him to pick it up. Didn’t want to win by his opponent missing, but by him winning. Classy player!
This was a great interview. I've always liked Bryson and his content. It's a shame, though, that he wasn't picked for the Ryder cup due to political stubbornness, he would have been a great asset for the US team.
I too have warmed to Mr De Chambeau. I've watched a couple of his own videos and enjoyed his infectiousness, his knowledge of the game and its equipment. Would love him to do a comparison with a persimmon driver, yes with a shaft of today, just to give us all a good view of the difference.
I have just subscribeb to Bryson channel, I have seen a couple of videos (Rick, Grant, ...) with him this week. I didn't know how he behave in real life, and youtube showed me that, he is a very nice and funny guy.
Such an enjoyable Q&A with Bryson I’ve always enjoyed watching him play a very entertaining and talented golfer. Would love to see him play at JCB in the near future. That would definitely be one to watch !! Great content Rick keep the videos coming.
Thanks for having me on my man! Ton of great content to come…
Is your real first name Baldrich? 😮
Keep up the awesome work! You are definitely influencing a lot more people to get back into or starting golf!
You are the best, the most misunderstood man in golf
So much fun to watch! Your UA-cam content is great!
Bryson was 100% right about his UA-cam filming. I was absolutely not a fan. Watched some of his videos, his explanations of his play, and melted the ice. same here. not sure, then watched him in the long drive contest and now respect for the guy.
Faszinating Story

Melted like ice lol I agree this guy is growing on me
How Bryson recalls his 58 with such clear detail tells you all you need to know about this man. he's the real deal and has invested his life into this game. All the best to him 👏
Easy to remember your round when you only hit 58 shots😂😂
Very similar to strikers, who recall their goals & against what team, over 20 years ago.
@aaron_jordaan, unfortunately, I must have forgotten not only all my shots from the 58 I shot, but also the whole day 😂😂
That is not an official 58. Furyk is the only one to shoot a legit 58. Bryson is a traitorous bum
He probably re-watches it, so that could be the reason he recalls everything.
Loved the lesson Bryson gave you on his channel - Going to use the bunker drill when I'm giving my lessons! Looking forward to collab content between you two!!!!
That was extremely helpful, sent that video to my golf group
My next training this Friday will be from bunker. That was so awesome. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I’m on it. Stop practicing on Matting & use a bunker & grass. Matts are bad apparently.
@@2sqnbandit379 Friday training from bunker primarily. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
@@metalheads-golfabsolutely. That was incredible that drill. Get you flushing irons every time.
Comes across as a really positive guy who works really hard to attain the really high standards he has achieved. Great golfer and entertainer. One of the few golfers I’d love to watch live.
Without doubt one of your best Podcasts if not the best ....Rick what a guy Bryson is i enjoyed every bit of it 10 out of 10 👏
Watching from Minnesota, I was yelling “Minneapolis Lakers” at my phone 🤣 Love this convo!
Don’t give a fuck what people say about Bryson he’s had a huge impact on the development of golf and he is really a solid individual
Love what Bryson has been doing with UA-cam. Definitely in my top three favorite golfers now. More top players need to open up like this.
Watching Bryson's you tube channel has made me a fan of his. Besides being a fabulous player he is pretty humble and very knowledgeable with the techniques of golf. As for the Lakers, they were the Minneapolis MN lakers till 1960 then moved to LA.
The more content I see of Bryson the more I warm up to him.

Really enjoyed this interview. Ive been on the fence regarding LIV, and this interview made me decide to take another look. Thanks guys!
It's watered down tour nothing at stake just a club. They are not really competing because they got the money already. So the golf is kinda a sideshow everything already done before play starts and there's no historical tournaments. Just a bunch of drinking buddies that have low handicap
I am a 58year old man. I am 3years into playing golf with a 24 handicap and Bryson inspires me

How wrong that was.
Great guest and golfer.
Hope he wins more majors
Maybe he will read your comment and send you a friend request!
The media brainwash people in to thinking Brysons the problem. He's a super nice bloke... and being super nice doesn't fit their agenda.
Well done Rick and team, one of your best in my my opinion and Bryson pure class.

Bryson is the GOAT! STAND UP GUY!!
RS starting to have a look at his phone during BDC shot by shot description of his 58 lol

since he had his own channel i gotta say this settles the debate about who’s the best golfer on UA-cam without doubt
I couldn't bring myself to like bryson until I subscribed to his youtube. Great bloke
I have just subscribeb to Bryson channel, I have seen a couple of videos (Rick, Grant, ...) with him this week. I didn't know how he behave in real life, and youtube showed me that, he is a very nice and funny guy.

Never was a fan of Bryson but watching this as changed my mind. Very honest
Just a top bloke who is pretty decent at golf, great podcast
Bryson has really went up in my estimation, like him or loath him he is a true inspiration

yes Bryson you have got it right love the LIV.

Bryson is such a good dude.

Bryson’s 40 footer to shoot 58 was one of the best putts Ive seen!
