    This is what I need. I have an issue moving my wrists out as soon as I do a crossover. I can do a few in a row, but not as smoothly. Need to get on top of this. Cheers, Rushie!

    Perfect way to explain that slick adjustment in the way the rope is handled for rotations. I make a point to my clients this is most efficient and will yield you much better results. Thanks for posting this. Going to be sharing this a bunch

    Lauren Jumps did a short recently talking about pretty much exactly this. I really want to try it out, and I'm new enough that hopefully the transition doesn't feel TOO awkward, but we'll see. Today was my yoga day, so I don't get to really try it out until tomorrow. I expect it to go poorly, but hopefully be worth it in the long run. She also talks about in one of the comments how she uses her elbows to flick the rope down and let momentum carry it the rest of the way around, rather than keeping the rope taut for the entire revolution (which is part of why people do the wrist motion you describe not to do, I think).

    Good stuff. You should have done a split screen (side angle and front angle at the same time). There is a lot of wasted visual on the building and those boxes.

    I believe single bounce and this wrist rotation is the fundamental basis to every other achievement in jumping rope.
    My question is, do i rotate the wrists in zero movement or do i move up and down?
    having a hard time trying to copy this basics move.

  • @alberteshoo3448
    @alberteshoo3448 8 місяців тому

    I think a vertical screen split with both methods would illustrate the difference better. Focus in on each handle simultaneously.

    I been jumping for around 5 months, i can do some tricks, however the simple posture is my deepest dificulty. I can see you push your shoulders and arms backwards as if you were puting your hands in pocket position. I try to imitate this posture however my arms get twisted. i feel akward. And this video content it is everything that i been looking for. i know my hand position is not ok as well. Even watching your video is difficult to reproduce your posture. I dont know if my rope length is hampering the use.

  • @alfonruiz329

    I have tried everything. I have been jumping rope for over 3 years I can achieve speed, resistance, tricks, I think objectively im fairly good don't think I count as a beginner anymore. But there's one thing, symmetry, i seem to be unable to move both hands equally and something always seems off, arm position, wrist movement, arm movement, it varies, but something always seems like arms aren't working symmetrically. Do you have any tips for this??? Its stopping me from feeling confident and satisfied with my jumping. I'm worried it could cause some visible muscle imbalance.

    Why there’s knots on both ends of the rope?! Is the length adjustable?

    • @W4rg3rm

      Putting nots in your rope reduces the length. Some people like short ropes where as some like longer ones. Preference.
