This is AMAZING!! Thank you so much. I can’t afford plastic eyes.
Yay! I am so glad I could help 💗💗
These eyes will be safer too
And children under 3 are not supposed to have the plastic eyes. I could actually get one out. I thought you would not be able to get it out. Bit the plastic safety and back can come through the crochet stitches. Ugh. I like using the plastic backs with E6000 so the back is glued to the eye and the yarn. They don't come out then.
Thank you for doing this tutorial!❤
So nice. I just made 4. Have 1 matching pair. Will keep the other 2 pieces try to match them. 😂😢😂.
I like the different sizes of eyes. Thanks for the tutorial. I did find it easy to make. I also like the position of the glimmer fun to do.
Yay, I am glad to hear that!!
I love This idea. Nice I will try to make these You always make it look easy .. I tried to buy safety eyes michlels Did have neither did holly hobby . I order some from Amazon taking forever to get them. . I’ll. Try making these I can even make a different color. . Thank you have a good rest of day happy crocheting
I am so happy to help, Irene! 💗💗💗 Yes you totally can, they are really customizable 😄I know those saftey eyes can be hard to get some times, or just not what you want for a certain project.
Omg! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I don't like using the safety eyes because I make my amigurumi as gifts, so I don't like spending much money.
Great tutorial Nova! If you make a lot of amigurumi I guess you could make up a stash of them to have on hand. Hope you're having a great day
Thank you Teresa! 💗Yes, absolutely! You could have a little container with sections of different sizes even 😍I hope your day is great as well!!
Yay!! I made those small eyes. It wasn't easy for me but I did it. Thank you Nova.
Yay! That is awesome Julie!!! I am so glad I could help 💗🧶
You are so TALENTED & SHARING SO FREELY!!!!
I made a couple of amigurumi animals and put the size safety eyes that were called for in the pattern. Now looking at them, the eyes are way too small and now I am going to make some eyes like you did and just stitch them over those eyes.
Thank you so much. These are simple and wonderful!
That's a great idea! I am so happy you found this helpful ❤😊
Would love to see how you attach the eyes. Mu stitching is so messy
Glad to see this. Wanting to make plushies for babies and read you aren’t supposed to use safety eyes for baby toys
Thank you very much for this tutorial much needed 🥰🥰🥰 I’m your new follower 🥰
Welcome!! I am so glad you found it helpful 😄💓
Great tutorial. Thank you
Thank you Mary! 💗
Thank you for this! I’m planning an amigurumi project and thought I would need to embroider the eyes, but I think this is better. Do you think it could be modified to make oval shaped eyes? Maybe I’ll experiment with that by varying the stitch height.
for sure! Just adding a few taller stitches as you work your way around, like half double crochet / double crochet, to either side of the circle should make it more of an oval shape 😄I hope that helps!
Soooooo helpful! Thank you!
Yay, I am happy it helped! 😄🧶
Loved this💓
I am so glad Allison! ❤️
Great idea Nova. What size hook did you use?
Thanks Reesa! I was using a 3.75 hook. Sorry, I should have mentioned that!
@@novagnomecreations Thanks
🖤💜🖤💜🖤
Awesome!!!! I am afraid that I would make a mess of it when sewing these cute eyes. Any suggestions for neat sewing and/or best glue for attaching the eyes to crochet critters, please?
What size yarn???
I was using size 4 worsted weight yarn here
Great tutorial!!
Never really liked those plastic safety eyes.
When making a knot in the back of your work, you could add a dab of glue to reinforce that knot.
That's a great idea! I like to reinforce knots by melting the fibers together a little with a lighter sometimes also! 😄 I am glad you liked the tutorial!!
awesome tutorial. You did a fantastic job explaining. 🙏❣🙃
Thank you!! 💜 So glad you liked it!
Good tutorial, maybe I missed it but I would have liked to see how to attach them to a stuffie, being a newbie
Seit Tagen habe viele Videos gesehen, aber niemand Hat das so genau erklärt wie du. Endlich weiss ich, was man zum Schluß mit diesen Fäden macht, das zeigt sonst niemand. Vielen Dank dafür.
How do you attach the eyes to the plushie? Super helpful tutorial!
So well explained & finally a easy way to make a magic circle 🌺👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

I need to made a Baby Yoda for my Grandson. He loves him and i could only find a 3 inch tall one to attach to his school bag, working on that. Those eyes give me a nice alternative to eyes. ❤
This tutorial has been very helpful to me. Thank you. I am using the different sizes. I have left over Sesame Street yarn so making scarf panels using these eyes. Thanks so much.
