I’ve been crocheting for years and have always embroidered them. Then now I see all these UA-cam with safety eyes, but I still always embroider them. That’s my go to always!
Eyes can make or break your project. Yours are great! They add so much to the characters. You've gone the extra mile. It is so totally worth it! Thank you!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊
@ I haven’t start ami yet, but I am gathering knowledge. Right now I am making a BOD shawl (Helena) that my housekeeper asked me to make for her. It will be her Mom’s Christmas gift. Then I need to make a couple of my gifts. I am planning to try my hand at the Ami after the new year!
Oh my gosh! This makes all the difference in adding personality and cuteness!! Definitely levels up one’s game whether gifting or selling. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! Now I don’t think I can ever go back to doing flat black eyes! 😆 Also, thanks for including the eyebrows, cheeks, and mouth, too!
Thank you for you tutorial! I made a cow and for the very first time I embroidered the eyes using your tutorial for a two year old girl and she love it. I know my cow and my embroidery eyes are not perfect but I'm happy with the result.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this tutorial! I have struggled with embroidering eyes! I can't wait to try this! Also, I need that fox pattern! So stinking cute! An idea for another tutorial video is a good video on how to sew on body parts. I just learned to crochet the end of last year, and i get my pieces on, but I have no idea if im doing it right. Love your style. Also a fun fact, I am from MN but my husband is a traveling worker and we spent 15 months in Jeffersonville OH. I used to frequent Mason often for shopping, and Greaters ice cream! Small world!
Small world is right. Mason is my stomping ground. I'm glad you liked my tutorial and thank you for the idea. It's a good one. I wrote it down and I will start working on it. Sewing is def the hardest part of making plushies and my hats. Thank you so much for commenting and watching. I really appreciate you!
Thank you so much for this amazing video. You are a great teacher. I cannot wait to try your technique. I also use the twist method to start my crochet projects.
Love love love this video. Would like to see some different designs. I noticed some of your eyes have a different shape than the bee. Thank you so much. You may have converted me. My favorite are the squid eyes!
Thank you so much. The other designs are the same concept. If you want the eyes bigger just wrap the yarn more. You can skip the eyebrow too. Hope that helps. I appreciate you watching and your comment.
I can't wait to try this on mama made mini loveys ❤. I've seen similar tutorials suth worsted weight yarn. Bernat blanket yarn takes it to the next level! Subscribed!
This is the best video I have seen for the eyes and mouth. I will be doing these eyes on everything I make. Love Love Love them. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing! I subscribed while watching this video. These eyes make plushies safe for little ones. I’m going to try this method of embroidery eyes. I can’t believe you only have 893 subscribers. I was expecting a number much higher (xxK). You’ll be there soon!
You are too sweet. I'm new to UA-cam but am very excited about it. I wanted to start my channel 5 years ago but couldn't wrap my head around it for personal reasons. So, my time is now, and I can't wait to see where it goes.
Thank you for showing us how to make your plushie eyes! Going to practice on my star stuffies ... Making a bunch for the kids at a first birthday event!
Thank you for your wonderful eye pattern. They are the best I’ve seen. I’ve been doing embroidered eyes for awhile as I l dislike safety eyes. Looking forward to your new pattern release. ❤
Ty so much for sharing. I have only used the safety a few times, even gluing them in, but still worried they might come out. This is the end of my worries🎉 . Have a blessed weekend.
Hi I like your eyes. I had not seen many embroidery eyes but I started embroidery mine not long after I started. I do use the safety eyes sometimes but always add to them. But I love the embroidery one. I wasn’t sure about putting them on my frogs bc of the bobble stitch but I love yours so I will try. Thanks for sharing. This is the first time I see your video. I enjoyed it. God Bless.
I've had Della the Duck in my cart for a few days now, but you have convinced me to buy it! She's so cute seeing her made up I love it! Thank you for sharing how you make the eyes, who could go back to the plastic eyes after that?!
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 love your channel. Crochet is so universal ❤ wondering if you can share tips for great market setup especially how you display your snugglers. Love your eye tutorial. Certainly cuteness supreme 😍
Hello from Australia!! I love that I can reach you!! Thank you for such a great idea!! This will be the first time I've sold them at market so I will be working on how to display them, and I would love to share it! Thank you for commenting and for watching! Much love to you!
Love the video and the eyes. I made a cat and will try them on that. One of the safety eyes popped out so I took the other onevout and will sew eyes on. Thank you so much! ❤
These eyes! (Now The Guess Who song is stuck in my head 😁) My granddaughter is a chewer 🤣 so I tried to embroider eyes and they didn’t look right. These are so cute! Thank you for sharing!
Love the eyes. I’m definitely going to try them. And I hope you don’t mind me saying, but you look a lot like Jennifer Anniston. 😊Thanks for the video. I’m going to check out more of yours. 😊
OMG! Your comment made me smile. First, I only have a few sizes of needles, but have no idea what size they are. The one I used in the video is a bigger yarn needle, lol. I'm sorry I'm not much help. Now I'm going to have to find out. Thank you so much for commenting and watching. I appreciate you!
Thank you so much! There are so many bee patterns on Instagram and probably on UA-cam. They are all pretty similar. This bee pattern is mine. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I really appreciate you so much!
This is awesome, I haven't used plush yarns yet! I have made a lot of amigurumi's, but not plush. My daughter wants a reindeer, she sent a picture and I found the pattern. Just a little nervous with new yarns. Also you should teach square knots, put yarn right over left then left over right, makes a knot that's nice and tight! Thanks for the video! The book, what about copyright, does it give you permission to sell what you make? (I'm in my late 60's if the questions dound sort of stupid)Thanks Shawna
You will be hooked once you start with the plush yarns. It is so much fun and doesn't hurt your hands as much as the acrylic when making amigurumi. I will have to look into the square knots. You can sell the knotted loveys from the book. Thank you for commenting and supporting me! Much love to you!
@@wendyjo9349 I believe they are floral pins. Depending on which ones you are talking about, lol. It’s been a minute since I bought them, haha, but it was probably Michael’s or Joanne’s. I do love the bigger pins for sewing crocheted hats. Thank you so much for your question.
I just wanted to tell you that I tried this on a loaf cat and it came out so darn cute. This is going to be the only way I do eyes now.
I love hearing that.
I’ve been crocheting for years and have always embroidered them. Then now I see all these UA-cam with safety eyes, but I still always embroider them. That’s my go to always!
It will be my go-to now for sure. They look so much better and are safe. Thank you so much for commenting and for watching!
I veer back and forth 🤣 I started with safeties but slowly learned to embroider and I love both for different things
Totally agree the embroidered faces are so much cuter. Can’t wait to give this a go! Thanks for doing the tutorial ♥️
Cutest amigurumi eyes that are baby safe. Thank you for your tutorial! ❤ 🙏
