No, not yet. I'm want to start but I just haven't figured it out yet. Like I explained before, I do have camera gear which is the Mevo cams the 3pack that has a few platforms and I also have a Yolobox as well that has platforms. It's a matter of having motivation and deciding what works best for me.
You can do the camera switching inside OBS by having multiple scenes with the different cameras/capture cards and switch them with the Stream Deck scene select. Or have the Auto switcher switch scenes automatically every few seconds.
Great video bro. Question for the basic set up. Ive got the Gon Pro Hero 11 + Media Mod and a Pioneer XDJ. So I’d need: - RCA to Aux 1/8th cable - Mic adapter to connect to go pro? Just a bit confused as a) I’d have music playing from my speakers to DJ b) at the same time the sound from the RCA cables would stream to Go Pro?
First off Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences on Live Streaming. I've been wanting to do some live streaming on my Dj gear, which BTW we have the same Prime 4 in white, best color hands down! So as for streaming I just seem to not figure out what platform is best. I bought the Mevo 3pk cameras which gives me several platform to stream but I noticed that for UA-cam you would need a certain amount of followers in order to steam which I felt it was a bummer! Then there's Facebook but that I believe would only be seen by your sets of friends you have saved. Again not sure how to go about it, I have so much gear and just haven't found the right resources. Plus been kinda down and out with being diagnosed with cancer and trying to just be happy is hard enough. Music always been my dream and outlet for feeling happy. Well again thank you for talking the time for putting together your videos and sharing with us in the community. Much appreciated 🙏
It’s always nice to meet other people who were able to snag the prime 4 in white! I recommend DJs stream on Twitch and Mixcloud. UA-cam has requirements for streaming and you also want to avoid getting copyright flags for the music. I’d avoid Facebook bc their strict attitude towards streaming music. Twitch is free, but Mixcloud will cost money per month for streaming features. Both utilize the OBS software so the set up should be easy. Let me know which one you end up streaming with and I’ll follow your channel 😊.
@@DJUnprotected Wow... Thank you so much for replying. Will do. Also I can tell your a special person and me my book, special people like yourself will go far In life ✨️ Blessings to you and yours.
@DJ Unprotected, thanks for the video, I just learned something new about the GoPro and that's the Media Mod...I had no idea that cover existed. I have the 11 Hero and just purchased the Media Mod for it, should make for an interesting project for me. I use an external mixer to run my music through, using OBS. However, I've only streamed once or twice because of latency challenges. I will be trying this again using my GoPro connected to my OBS laptop and see if this works better. Not saying the camera was the issue, it was my older laptop which I have replaced. Keep up the good work.
I think the media mod will work great for you!! I have experienced latency issues myself when connecting cameras to my laptop. There is something called Sync Offset within OBS (advanced audio settings) to help delay sound to match the video. Play around with it, I think I have sync offset settings near 1000ms.
Thank you! I import my recorded sets in to a digital audio workstation (Ableton Live) and add a limiter to bring up the volume to radio levels before I share to sites like Mixcloud.
You cannot avoid getting muted on your VoDs after the fact, but as long as you also record live it's not an issue. I have never heard of anyone getting into trouble on Twitch for doing live sets. I do them myself, never had massive issues or hard strikes against me.
Twitch just mutes that section of audio. I record the mixes myself in the Prime 4 and share them later on. It seems Mixcloud might be a better alternative for DJs to avoid copyright issues.
@@DJUnprotectedI have found though. Even if you visit you VOD after doing the live stream and it has muted parts, if you download it...Well, its totally clean and no muting. I guess Twitch gives you the clean version if you download it yourself as opposed to the version everyone else can see.
HI there, I have been logging in everyday since I saw our video on the update of the OS on Prime 4 to 3.0 and no video on YET what you said you would be making when you got used to the samples and how to use them. Either keep your word friend or you will just be regarded as another TUBE "R" who like to make false promises. any date on this video????
Do you stream your DJ sets online? If so, which platform do you prefer?

Thank you very much for sharing the information through this Video. A question, on Mixcloud. Can I broadcast live through an Atem mini?

@@DJUnprotected Thank you, sir.
Thank you for this video. I'm trying to setup for live streaming. I have 2 webcams. How do you connect your webcam to the video mixer board please?
The ATEM by black magic design connects the camera via HDMI (mini to HDMI).
Could I hire you for a consultation? 😅
Bless your guide Music Master
Glad to help!
Congratulations on the video.
There are complaints about the granation in Denon Prime 4. The recording sound is low.
How do you solve it?
All the best

Controllers should have all this built-in instead of all the useless things they add.
How do you dj on twitch and avoid copyright strikes

Sorry for the false promises. That’s not my intention, but I get it… I should be impeccable to my word. Thank you for pointing this out to me!
