Good question. The Yamaha sits in a very awkward place. I need it to stay there and ergonomically speaking, it's too far for me to reach when I'm speaking on the microphone.
I am looking for a way to split up my mixer audio and mic audio in two different channels in OBS. Can I use the Yamaha for that? Or do I need a USB microphone?
Do the outputs from the Rane come out in Mono? I use a MG10XU for my SR2 and only have one XLR going into it and I get a stereo signal. Just curious why you have it set up with 2
@olaniyiabiola-oloke2142 No, you don't. It's physically impossible to get a stereo signal with only one output, even on the SR2. One output = mono signal Two outputs = stereo signal So to answer your question, I am coming out of my Rane One's left and right main outputs and going into 2 channels on my mixer panned hard left and right to broadcast a stereo signal.
Is the lenovo laptop that you use for streaming is it good for serato stems. I'm using a dell 7390 now it's giving me problems smh. I been searching for the right pc laptop for serato dj pro stems.
I don't know anything about Serato unfortunately. However, I am going to say no. The reason is because I am using the older version of VDJ stems which doesn't require much processing power at all.
Hello, you have to PAD the 2 channels on the mixer that Rane One is connected to, then you can use the channel gain normally rather than using the gain at zero level because the signal is very hot. Those channels are meant to be used with microphones. If you connect a very hot signal in it, you have to PAD it. So press the pad buttons on those two channels. I hope it helps.
Tonight I decided to use the pad option to see how that sounded. I did a comparison between the two and I think using the pad option did sound just a slight bit better to my ears, So I'll be using the pad option for the line level from here on out. Thank you for suggesting that. Good call!
@@DJ2Legit007 You are the best and you are doing the right thing. That is how it was really designed to work. You PAD when an Instrument is connected because the signal is too too hot. Also, you get a better all-around sound quality, rather than only more highs when not Padded. Padding = Attenuation on some other mixers. I had that issue of the sound not sounding correct in my ears and had to read the manual.
Scratching. I loveeeee to scratch when I'm DJing. I also love moving platters. Just watching them spin round and round while I'm DJing is a very relaxing and comforting feeling for me. I'm never going back to static platters again.

While streaming, they don’t block out any music. After the stream, you’ll see red bars where there were copyright claims. I’ve never had a problem with getting strikes or anything like UA-cam. But, if you’re going to send the mic to someone, using OBS you can record the stream or, I use serato, with serato you can record the mix and have audio only. If you use the external mixer shown here, you can run your mic through it so it won’t be in the serato mix. Hope this helps.
Prism live is dope to use to. Its just like OBS and it’s feee and you can use your iPhone or iPhones for cameras right into prism live studio and you can stream through all the social media and all the plugins that are made for OBS work right in prism live studio. Just throwing it out there for another streaming service to use. I love OBS too
