Love your channel been watching for a year now. I love how you display your culture through your food, for me the tamales my family makes during holiday season is what really defines some of the Mexican culture through its food because everyone gets together to make them. Seeing you catching the food, then taking it home and preparing it was awesome. To see how your family appreciates your food and the comfort it brings, really meant a lot.

Be sure to save anything you don’t eat if the fish/squid and you can typically make frozen chum packs with it that you throw into the area you’re fishing at. Waste not want not. Make sure the creatures lost life goes to as much use as possible.

Living in Sasebo for a couple of years my favorite seafood meal was Squid or Cuttlefish. Served still alive impaled on two pins on a wooden platter. The mantle was narrowly sliced and eaten as Sashimi. Then the head and tentacles were taken back to the kitchen and cooked as you wish. Yakitori or Tempura usually. Also delicious. My wife learned while eating the raw mantle not to touch the head or tentacles as they would grab your chop stick or fingers.
