waste of food to throw parts u can eat away, just make it into something else.
Make a nice seafood red miso broth with that lobster head, add some seaweed and lightly chopped herbs, ah ~~ then relax for the evening, its delicious. Same with Salmon head, I usually make a huge pot of broth, freeze them and then use them for weeks later.

This is real catch and cook. So tired of all these other channels not doing the "cook" part justice. They always catch it and it's awesome, then they burn the fish on a foil tray they probably didn't wash before. This is what catch and cook means, and it's really satisfying.

jim halpert because people want a quick and easy way to cook their catch. After fishing for 12+ hours, the last thing anyone would want to do is spend a long period of time cooking.
@@themontaukmonster1 who is forcing them to stay outdoors? They could keep it in a cooler and cook it the next morning or when they get home. Nobody said you have to cook it on the spot. Those are just excuses.

Dude I am a chef at an Italian restaurant and a restauranteur but the outdoor chef life is what I’m all about and I’m quickly transitioning to Texas jungle type of cuisine and wild game in the great outdoors!

Thanks Taku. After many years of spear fishing I am inspired to go lobster diving. Took vacation on August 31 to be out there at midnight on first day of the season. The lobster ramen did it. Excited to make that. Probably not as tasty in warm Maui. Ha ha. Your videos are inspiring, educational, and entertaining. Keep up the good work.

I was inspired to cook this up! The part where you grilled the lobster heads really made a huge difference to the intensity of the stock! I sliced and grilled them in halves! I love watching your videos taku! Keep em up!!

I'm sure someone else will tell you this, but that guy could have gotten in trouble w F&G for having that many lobsters in a bag, even if they were all legal. You need to make sure your lobsters are legal before they go in the bag. It's better for the lobsters and will keep you out of trouble.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one to notice that. That would/should have been a hefty fine. Most likely would have been fined for two things: undersize and over limit.
