Cookie! I got your back! Yoga can serve you- if you are open! Lets start with the foundations series coupled with this video 2-3 times a week plus a walk or dance or jog if you can fit it in. Give it time and know that your thoughts and words also have a big effect on the body! We can do this!!! Love, A
Adriene, I always thought yoga was too rigid and I was never going to enjoy it. But I have been doing your videos weekly and can actually feel a difference! Thank you for posting these. Your videos are different than any others I've seen and I think it's because you are truly you- open friendly-humble-so thank you for that too!! -Carolyn
Yoga With Adriene. You are Dynamite, you really know how to make us feel good from the inside out, The Light in Me honors the light in you I must say thank you for all your hard work your compassion your love your kindness. 💖that's you
Thanks luv for a kick-ass practice! You make me smile, chuckle and laugh out loud. Namaste Blue, you beautiful light that keeps on shining... Namaste All.
Out of all the yoga instructors out there I like Adriene the best because she doesn't have (what I refer to as) an annoying sleepy nasal yoga voice... AND She makes silly jokes and occasionally curses - which makes me feel like she is a down to earth regular person. (And her dog is cute). Thank you Adriene!
she is so motivating, i have done her exersises for the last two years and i have seen the result, making me to get even more inspired to start my channel.ua-cam.com/video/P7mPvMDTAc4/v-deo.html
I love Yoga with Adriene! I am 51 year old widow (my husband passed away in September 2013) I was so emotionally broken; and detached from the rest of the world, that I basically isolated 24/7.... Through Pinterst I was introduced to my first YOGA WITH ADRIENE UA-cam Video.... I'm not whole YET and it going to take time... But the calmness and serenity I find working out daily to her videos has been a true God sent... Thank you
Oh my dear sweet friend! I love you! I appreciate you sharing your heart with us and welcome you to the channel and the Yoga With Adriene family. I wish you truth, love and yoga as a tool to connect to both and honor your self love and the spirits you carry in your heart.
I'm here in 2024 - I love seeing the older videos - Adriene, you haven't lost any of your kindness and fun and what a pleasure to meet Blue - I've only ever known Benji. Thank you for all that you continue to do for the yoga community x
If I weren't following the calendar for June, I would absolutely never have tried this one. Just finished and feeling very accomplished. Thank you for guiding me through this. So grateful to have found you and your yoga guidance.
One of my absolute favorites! At 60 years "young", I love the feeling of accomplishment afterwards. The extra boost of energy is sending me out into my yard and garden to water, feed & weed! Feeling blessed and grateful! Peace and love to my yoga friends and to our mentors Adriene and Benji!
So a few years back I was completely devestated by a pinched nerve in my neck which mimicked a stroke. At 48 years of age I Lost all motor coordination on my left side and it took me a year to get motor skills back to 80 percent. So needless to say that my dreams of returning to martial arts, swinging a golf club or any other sport or exercise went out the window. Weight gain from 165 to 205 and I just got tired of being so out of shape with no options. I went to a yoga class one day and viola I found something that might just work. Longer story longer, after being "somewhat" consistent I am finding that I have increased mobility and flexibility along with an increasing desire to keep working. Haven't lost a lot of weight but am now able to complete and hour of yoga with no pain and feel pretty darn good about myself physically. Thank you Adrianne for posting all of these free lessons they, and you, are helping me find hope that someday I might just be able to enjoy some of the sports I used to enjoy. BTW I'm finding a really cool spiritual aspect of the practice never expected. Thank you,so very much. Much love
Sup Ray! I just happened to read your story and I think it's awesome you found something that's working! It sounds like you're much happier taking action in whatever way you can to rebuild your body and mind together. It motivates me to do the same, although I never had to deal with any real physical ailment. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and cheer you on ^_^
Johanna Brannon to be honest. I’ve been doing it only a couple days a week, I haven’t even SEEN all these notifications but, from now on I guess I got to do it every day :D
Returning to this after “Breath” and I have to say Adriene your grace, disposition and love has grown so much. As much as we have. We love you terribly. Thank you for your service. 🌙☀️✨🌻
These videos have likely saved the sanity of many throughout the pandemic. I take/took Yoga with Adriene while traveling and during quarantine I improved (nothing else to do right?)
So great to see others on here seeking ways to stay healthy during quarantine! My regular yoga studio is streaming classes, but only during the daytime, when I'm working. A coworker turned me on to Adriene and after one video, I'm hooked. Great attitude, variety of postures, instructional pace, and exertion level. I feel wonderful.
45 min in I had to take an almost 5 minute break because my wrists were killing me, but I remember the months theme: courage. I pressed play and finished! So proud
Such a great workout ~ I’ve been doing a 15-20 min ‘session’ twice a day for 3 weeks ~ not sure I would have got through this without it! Well done Ladies 🖤
Dear Adriene doing this weight loss yoga 2023, i am very senior, stopped for break at 46.40. Another 15 minutes to go.❤ thank you .for all the love your send out. ❤
Been with Adrienne for a long time and went back to this video today. Her video format may have changed but she’s always been an amazing yoga teacher! I do miss these longer and slightly more difficult videos in her current repertoire but I do still love the fact that she’s always been a proponent of Yoga is a state of mind and not about the right postures!
Oh my goodness....was this really an hour? And guess what? I can plank now with poise, grace and ease! Haha...Most of the time! Day 76. I started just prior to lockdown, here in New Zealand, and we are now out and about again, but my yoga is taking a priority in my day as I love it so much. Thank you Adriene.
subasree arvind , No weight loss. But I’ve done 100 days now and I am definitely stronger in the core, and more flexible. I don’t aim to lose weight- I don’t need to, but I’m sure my balance is better and I feel great. I am 65, and quite fit from regular walking. So now I feel I have even more energy. I do wonder though - if I only concentrated on Adriene’s weight loss videos, maybe weight would come off. I pick and choose which videos I want to do each day. Good luck. It’s so much fun isn’t it?
Been on the daily YWA train since Jan 1st 2020-- haven't missed a day and it has changed EVERYTHING, especially in these dark times. Great seeing Beau (RIP) and hearing Chris?.... I have to say though, this was challenging and took courage and radical self compassion. As always, thank you, Adriene. Namaste 🙏
There are plenty of yoga instructors on youtube and in the world, but I think Adriene keeps me having coming back because she's so natural and real. She doesn't go all hippie on you saying annoying things, such as "let the beauty of the life come through your veins and fill your spirit with bliss as you grow like a tree yadda yadda bullshit", she improvises as she teaches and makes you feel comfortable with yourself. I just feel she's like a real person and not some poseur vegan snob. I've never worked out at home, but lately I've been kinda depressed and don't wanna go out and run like I usually do, so this is lovely! Thanks, Adriene!!
bremex It's not "bullshit" when yoga teachers say that "bullshit" it a release of energy or motivation when they do say it and 9/10 most people who do yoga are of a Buddhist/spiritual belief, which is why they say yoga is a way of life rather than just a workout. And plus if you listen to andriene she sounds simple and down to earth but the amount of times she notes "namaste" pretty much justifies how arrogant you sound. "let the light be with your small brain cells and the exhale of your comment be with you"
Don't be depressed! I'm sure you're a lovely person! Personally I hate running but I do re omen walking, it's peaceful like yoga😄 Also other people have a way of viewing yoga but I definitely love Adriene! Go austinites!
I am completely NEW to yoga, having never practiced it before finding your videos. I started using your weight loss yoga series (2 to 3 times a week) for the past month and a half, alternating with some running (3 times a week), and I have noticed a HUGE difference in my body. I suddenly have muscle mass!! Something my body was a complete stranger to before (having only depended on running for exercise). Now, I can see my abs and can lift my chubby 16 month old son without exhaustion! Granted I had no weight to lose, as I am a vegan and am already pretty slim.. but I definitely needed help toning. Your videos have helped me tone, strengthen, and increase my flexibility more than I could have imagined. I look better now than when I was in my teens! Haha. Now I am addicted to yoga and have begun to swap out some of my run days for yoga days. I have yet to find yoga videos on youtube that are as great as yours (especially for beginners)! You truly are a teacher. THANK YOU!
I’m here in 2024! This is a great flow - slower and basic and a lovely workout! Funny how Adriene’s reminders / sayings have been there since way back! ❤❤
for those intimidated by an hour long practice: dont be! the hour may seem really scary at first and that an hour is an eternity but it truly is not. once you finally accept the hour you are giving to yourself and become in tune with the practice, the time will fly by. love you all
Struggling to do it the whole way through due to weak arms and wrists. So I'm going to keep track of the progress I make on this video: DAY 1- made it to 40 minutes, paused a couple of time DAY 2- made it 47 minutes didn't pause the video but dropped out of a few positions to rest DAY 3- made it 33 minutes started to feel faint so decided to leave it at that DAY 4- Skipped day DAY 5- Finished the routine with 3x5 minute breaks
I challenged myself to complete this entire video without stopping, and I did! :) I'm probably going to feel sore tomorrow, but right now I feel great.
This was FABULOUS. I love our voice, your instructions, your yoga philosophy AND that you just kept going and didn't edit. So human and lovely. Thank you! Looking forward to doing a LOT more.
Thank you! I think there are plenty of poses in this video safe to try for those without a 6 month practice! It is all about mindfulness and a commitment to practice with ease and integrity! Its about curiosity and mindfulness- lets not scare people away from yoga- but rather make sure the invitation in is lovely and open.
This was the first time I've done this practice, after nearly six years of practicing with you. In the past, it would have been one to avoid (too long and too hard)! I nearly ground to a halt when we did the plank leg raises but came back shortly after with the yogic squat. It was a bit hard on my wrists but will follow up with gentle movements. Thank you Adriene xx Namaste 💟💟
Day 6 of COURAGE. I couldn’t complete this season. I stopped after 45 minutes and laid in Shavasana. But I’m really proud that I could do those 45 minutes. It’s a big thing for me. Also, my wrists don’t pain anymore and I can remain in downward dog for atleast 30 seconds now.
Gentle reminders from this practice, “connect with the body”, “always move with grace, with ease”, “to be with the breath”, and “self-expression.” ☺️✨ Thank you so much Adriene and namaste 🙏🏻💗
This full length practice is rather slow which doesn’t mean that I didn’t get a lot out of it. I really like how Adriene is paying attention to all the details and I now feel so much better after this practice that really targeted my whole body. Thanks Adriene! You’re such a wonderful teacher! I know that you always have my back. Sending you lots of love from Germany!
Thanks for your comment! I was nervous starting this because it is so long, but I showed up and tried my best. Couple of swear words here and there (after the millionth plank) but I made it through.
i was really scared before bcs i have never done a yoga video that long, but then it was waayyy easier than i expected. almost a bit too easy for my taste. but better this way than the other way around imo. i can always do more if i feel like it.
This is one of my favourite workouts to do. It really taught me how to use proper form in planks and other exercises & it taught me how to engage my core properly too. I feel I get more benefit from these types of workouts than other non-yoga workouts. Please make more of these kinds of weight loss videos as they help me sooo much with strengthening my body and mind. Thank you, Adriene xxxx
I just want to say thank you to Adriene. Took yoga classes at the gym but couldn't get into it, I took a chance and started looking up yoga on youtube and you were the first one I clicked on and I am so thankful I did. You don't just teach great yoga but your personality and the way you motivate your viewers is amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Much love from Los Angeles!
I’ve been following Adriene for years and she makes me WANT to show up on the mat, so fun, so relaxing, so smart, and always like a fine glass of wine when it gets into the session. Just amazing
Stumbled on this older but AMAZING video today, and it was really fun to see how much things have changed. I, for one, kind of liked having the "behind the scenes" bloopers and things for this one. I like that most of your videos are done so professionally and (dare I say) flawlessly, but when you're 45 minutes in and you're debating whether your knee is going to "kiss" anything, it's nice to feel like a real human is having real human moments on screen, too. Thanks for the giggles!
Adriene, I've been doing your videos for two years. It's the only yoga I've ever done. Thank you so much. Doing yoga saved my body and my career as a massage therapist. I recommend you to all of my massage clients! Keep up the awesomeness.
I started doing yoga again when my country announced lockdown... But by this time I am in love with yoga. It makes me so happy and relaxed. And I can see physical changes too. Thank you a lot Adriene. Now yoga has become a part of me.
I started doing yoga in 2019 because I thought it was going to be mindful and good for me. I started doing it and I gradually lost a lot of weight and started getting toned. I then started running and lost more weight and I got my fittest during the summer of 2020. Since quarantine has been here I haven’t been running or doing yoga, I’ve gained weight and such. I’m gradually getting back into yoga and running. I really love your videos, I look forward to doing yoga with you! It makes me happy
When lockdown started I decided that I should pick up a new hobby. I feel so happy that I came across Yoga with Adriene. I've been doing yoga for about 5 months now and, before all this, I didn't do yoga at all. I feel so healthy and yoga has been the best way for me to cope with everything! Thank you Adriene!!
My whole country is in quarantine (I'm from Italy) and I haven't been able to leave the house for a couple weeks. I've decided to try and pick up some yoga, this is the third video that I tried to follow. Really nice! Although I'm pretty sure I won't be able to walk tomorrow😂😂
We just went into lockdown 2 days ago in the UK. I'm a nurse and I'm pretty sure time on my mat is what will get me through this. Sending so much love to you xxxx
I started yoga almost a month ago and Adrienne u hav been my guide since day one. i was a total new bee to yoga and had no idea where to start and ypur channel was the first one YT recommended and i was like "okay lets give it a try" and after a month i feel like im a completely new person, my issues with my neck and back are long gone and i hav only u to thank for this. I started yoga bt i wasn't completely sure how far I'll go, and now today i am questioning myself like how in the world i survived without yoga? 😅
If you are struggling to deal with depression , anxiety and weightloss .This yoga session is great to work on all these three.Thank you Adriene for such great yoga session.
It’s September 22 2024. I just did this video. I am almost 63 and just started yoga with Adriene six weeks ago. This was amazing just like all of her practices.
Adriene, we love you. The cuss isn't bothersome, and don't mentally beat yourself up when you feel out of sync. You may be instructing yoga, but your also teaching people how to be happy.
Almost a month now I daily Yoga with Adriene long practices, in Paris. It feels delish. I feel the power of my body, and correct my posture all the time. Also, I prefer when you speak live during your practice and not with a voice off because the rhythm is more natural when live, and you comment on feelings we do feel during those movements. It's better with no music during the practice : the silence and your voice are relaxing and help to focus. But the music at the end is synonym of yes-we-did and is associated with the pleasure of nutrients running through our body after the practice. Thank you for your time Adriene !
Courage it is. I've been following yoga calendar and this day is dreading but I always count on Adrienne to lead the practice. Love it as always Namaste! 🙏💖💖💖
Courage 2020 Day 6. I know that you told us this month was going to be challenging but it has been a great way for me to test my body's strength and abilities. I've been a part of the YWA community for the last 2 years but I'd still skip a 1 hour video because it LOOKS like it could be beyond me and what I know. I did not skip it this time and I'm so glad that I didn't and I finished the entire practise feeling so full of joy. These two years helped me to fly in my crow pose and gave me the guts to practise headstand slowly. I can see the changes yoga has brought in my everyday life and in me as a person. And all this, I owe to you because none of this would have been possible without Adriene. You are a blessing to many of us and I'm so grateful to you. ❤️
Adriene, thank you so much for your generosity in sharing the beautiful practice of yoga with us! Since the quarantine, I have joined you in practice nearly everyday morning and night for about two months now. It has changed my life completely. The pain in my shoulders and neck is gone. I have lost weight and strengthened every part of my body! I have a new found love for my body and health and for that I am forever grateful for you and your gift of teaching and sharing the world of yoga. Love and prayers for you and your family!
I was scared at first but stuck through the whole thing and am glad I did. Adrienne is so down to earth and makes things doable. Some yoga teachers on UA-cam are intimidating and makes you feel you can never achieve it but not Adrienne.
Wow i made it the full way without any long breaks! Sooo proud of myself! Here’s to losing weight and excess emotional baggage the healthy and balanced way!
I'm french, so pardon my bad english. I started with the 30 days challenge, which was amazing, and I would love more long video like this one !!! You're an amazing teacher ! You make me love and practice yoga even more ! Your videos are what feels good to me.
I highly enjoyed this video! You encouraged me even though I was almost whimpering in pain and kept me going. I am trying to get to a healthier version of myself and you are helping with that. Thank you Adriene!
I decided to do this weight loss playlist as my evening yoga. When I saw that it was an hour long workout I kind of felt discouraged, but I feel great! Looking forward to tomorrow evening. I'm so grateful for your videos 🙏
Thank you Adrienne you are a star. I’m 62 years old and a semi- retired nurse trying to improve my health. I always feel better after I practise even if I can’t do all the poses. Love and peace always. Amanda UK 4/05/23
I am not flexible so have never liked yoga before Yoga with Adriene! Thanks for your upbeat teaching allowing for stiff people like me options to be able to succeed. Thank you! Thank you!
If anyone's too tired to continue but wants to continue, I have a hack. Increase the playback speed. Now you won't have to hover around waiting for instructions for too long. I don't mean to disrespect adrianne. I love her. Just trying to help others
I have really never experienced yoga that well explained - it's like you see me through the screen and correct me and then I feel a huge satisfying shift in my body! thanks a bunch
I'm glad to find a good substitute here for my regular (cancelled due to corona) classes, to which I'm relatively new. A little different in style - nothing wrong with that - and I find myself sweating a lot without the sensation of having done any cardio, which is new. I will follow this video again, and will look up the other two in the series.
I've been doing YWA videos every day since mid-January when I started the Breath journey a couple weeks late. Tried this one for the first time about a month ago; I quit about 33 minutes in because I had nothing left to give. Just finished the whole thing in one session today and, yeah it was hard, yeah I paused a few times to give my quads and wrists a hot second, but I did it. I'm so proud of myself right now :D
Allow, release, let go. This has stayed with me since yesterday. Thank you for not only helping me with my body strength but also my mind strength. Power on July. Namaste.
Hahaha! I've done this workout a few times and I'm terrified EVERY TIME when I start it :-) :-) :-). There's another one though, a 40-minute fat burning workout which I swear is harder :-). Still, worth the pain :-) :-) :-)
Yeah, just did this workout and was insecure before if this would be possible for me... Thank god there are always options offered by Adriene ;) It went better than I thought!
Do what you can, lots of pose options make it easier. It's always satisfying to come back and see what you Can do that you couldn't before. It's a "practice".
I discovered You last month. That was my third month of weight loss and I was looking for something to stretch and improve my flexibility. wow. I have much to report on my first 30 days with Yoga with Adriene. 1. My six day exercise regiment has yoga twice. I use Saturdays to do total yoga for weight loss and the 45 minute stretch and strengthen. I love your voice and you're a great teacher. 2. Last Monday, I realised my weight was not going down as I had expected. my motivation went down... like way down. But i picked my body and turned up at the mat. I went for the short 30 minute practices. It kept me going when my mind was pushing me to give up. I am over the slump and back to my program. Thanks for your variety. 3. I salute you for your practice. I understand Yoga is a practice not a destination. everyday, I will practice with honour and respect and appreciation for my body, for your teaching and for the millions of others who are also in practice. Namaste.
Adriene this and your other Total Body Workouts have been SO valuable to me especially since my gym has been closed due to the pandemic! Even though I have not been able to go to the gym since March, I feel like your yoga videos have helped me to remain fit and feeling GREAT! Thank you!!!!!!!
Yesterday's deep stretch has taken its toll on me today but I still managed to finish this one despite the aching - with lots of extra extended child's poses inbetween.
I appreciate your comments at the end Adriene. I was able to get through half of it, but I especially appreciated going for the depth on the parts that I was able to do and then also sitting and learning during the parts that I was not able to do. This will help me to continue to grow during the other practices. Thank you! After all, it's not like there aren't plenty (over 100) of your other videos for me to supplement today's practice.
I'm about 110 lbs overweight and I stuck with the video. It certainly wasn't looking pretty by the last half hour, but I got through it! Things I noticed that are hard for fluffy folks: lots of bending over, bringing knee to chest, or pressing thighs together for boat pose (I just keep my feet on the floor, it's enough for now). I didn't experience pain or anything like that, there's just a lot in the middle putting pressure on your stomach. I experienced lots of burping and nausea and was really praying for moves to open me back up in a couple spots. I could certainly do a shorter practice to build myself up, but frankly I love a longer practice.
These past couple of weeks have been so hard with both personal trauma and very necessary societal uprooting. What was to be my third month in a row of daily yoga got sidetracked. I got back on my daily yoga practice yesterday and was so so close to skipping this video today - I didn’t feel like I had the energy. Even though this thoroughly kicked my ass (I have never fallen out of a yogic squat in my three or four years on and off with Adriene, but boy was I tired!), I am so so glad I did this. Thank you for providing this practice, and your others. Your work is so deeply appreciated. ❤️
I absolutely love all of your sequences Adrienne. I discovered a very dull yoga app a few years ago, and then was introduced to your 30 day challenge during lockdown. I fell in love and follow one of your sequences 3 or 4 times a week. So many to choose from to suit my mood, time and energy levels. And you are utterly adorable! Thank you for being so wonderful and supporting my well-being and mindfulness xx
Can't believe I made this one! I started yoga in quarantine after 4 years again. Wish I'd found you sooner. No matter how long social distancing lasts, yoga is a part of my life now! Lots of love from Iran.♥️🇮🇷
I almost didn't go on with this workout today cause I was tired and I noticed it was 1 hour. But then I told myself I just have to be there and go on as much as I can. I ended up finishing the whole workout and I am so proud of myself! Also it was cute to see the Adriene from a few years ago :) thank you, you're awesome!
That was a blast! Thank you so much for your monthly calendars, free daily yoga and awesome soul - Day 6 #ywaCOURAGE - Day 279 of daily yoga with Adriene!! Namaste ~
I really can't take how funny you are. Having your sense of humor mixed with yoga is the best combination. I love your videos and I want you to know I appreciate all of the time and effort you put forth to creating these. You truly are helping to create a change in the mind and body of people on a daily basis. As cheesy as that sounds. Thank you Adriene.
Just found you, Adriene. What a life-saver you are! Sheltering in place can be a scary thing, and having your encouragement, humor and expertise is making it all bearable. Namaste!
Adriene, I "met" you just a few weeks ago, when all this covid madness started and, to be honest, I never tried yoga before in my 31 years of life. It`s going pretty well, better than expected btw. What I wanted to say is... that I already love you very much, your videos, your way of leading, the love you share each and every moment. All these made my quarantine a lot easier. I follow a video of yours every single day and, well, you`re like a sunshine after the storm. You have a strong light within, dear! Thank you very much! Kisses and hugs from Romania :)
My 1st time doing yoga. I managed to follow through till the end. I think the most challenging part in doing yoga is to breathe in between movements. I love the relaxing sensation though. Im gonna incorporate yoga day at least once a week from now on 💪🏻
This video was peaceful enough to calm my mind in the evening still feeling like im really doing something. Thank you so much for the perfect sequence for my mood at the time.
+Carmen Dixon did you really lose 5 pounds in a week? if so, thats amazing ! Im looking to lose weight in a manner that isnt so severe as workingout due to the fact that two summers ago i broke my back and cannot put too much strain on it without severely messing something up. i want to find a good yoga routine that helps lose weight fairly quickly and tones the body. im looking forward to your feedback
+Richelle Burt I actually have lost a total of 25 pounds in two months by watching these videos and 45 minutes of cycling, but I have also credit that I have changed my diet as well. Good luck.
+Richelle Burt Weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. If you start cutting calories (increase veggies and balance with protein) and begin a workout routine you can lose weight pretty easily. Yoga is great because it is meant to be modified for the user, and should be doable for someone with an injury like yours.
I just found Adriene’s amazing content in May 2023… and I am loving it!!! Thank you for helping us be our best versions of ourselves, @yogawithadriene… YOU ROCK!
Even if you have to pause and take a second to breathe, keep going. You are doing what feels good for your body at this very moment in time. I believe in you all.
Whoa nelly! I almost skipped this one when I saw how long it was -- I literally said, "What the f#@&, a whole hour?!" out loud to my cats. My first thought was that I'd never make it through because I've never done an hour long practice, so I shouldn't even try. But my immediate *second* thought was that somehow, Adriene, you always know exactly how far to push us and that the whole point of engaging with yoga like this is to grow. As you sometimes say in your videos, the mind will want to give up before the body, and I didn't want to let that happen. So I clicked Play and here I am an hour later!!! In fact I almost paused it for a break at one point, but saw I only had 6 minutes left so I just powered through!! Also, I really appreciated your note at the end that this series was specifically designed to be more challenging/ not intended to be "mastered" the first time. So grateful for your guidance as always
I paused it too but at 40mins thinking 'this is it, I give up today' saw there was only 15mins and carried on to the end - so glad I did, I feel amazing now.
Hello from 2020 :) just wanted to say your comment helped me decide to do this video. I was scared and almost didn’t do it, but your comment is so true and I trusted Adriene! So glad I did.
@@madelyn2049 Aw yay!!!!!!! That is awesome!!! I'm so glad you posted this comment too, bc I've had couple small injuries lately so it's been a minute since I've done anything longer than half an hour. But I'm better now and I think it's time I try harder.
I love that your dog is a part of your videos. My beautiful Pearl used to love being on the mat with me. Sometimes I would open my eyes during a relaxing sequence and find her curled up at my side. My girl passed in February at the age of 15, and I have been heartbroken since, I have made a point of continuing my exercise to help me get out of the funk her loss has left me in. Sometimes during a particularly relaxing time in your videos, I still feel her presence curled up next to me. I notice your dog is a blue heeler. Pearl was part blue heeler and the most beautiful girl ever. Thank you for your videos, they help me in many ways.
Love these Yoga for weight loss videos! Would love to see more of them! Thank you for being real and teaching in a way that connects any level yogi. You are a class act Adrienne. Namaste.
Hola Adriene! he hecho esta clase varias veces y me encanta porque siento que si trabajo todo mi cuerpo como si fuera a una clase de yoga en un salon, y la verdad tu eres la mejor en clases de yoga en youtube. Gracias!!!
💖that's you
I’ve tried all your other weight loss videos - this was the first long one - thoroughly enjoyed it. Hello from Australia!
Thanks luv for a kick-ass practice! You make me smile, chuckle and laugh out loud. Namaste Blue, you beautiful light that keeps on shining... Namaste All.
Yoga With Adriene kn
Out of all the yoga instructors out there I like Adriene the best because she doesn't have (what I refer to as) an annoying sleepy nasal yoga voice... AND She makes silly jokes and occasionally curses - which makes me feel like she is a down to earth regular person. (And her dog is cute). Thank you Adriene!
same. usually youtube yoga people creep me out.
So true. Love when she makes ya laugh out loud in the middle of a pose!
she is so motivating, i have done her exersises for the last two years and i have seen the result, making me to get even more inspired to start my channel.ua-cam.com/video/P7mPvMDTAc4/v-deo.html
Adriene yoga
All this comments go against everything Yoga is, and specially Adriene is trying to imply with our practice. Breath love.
wow. 10 years later - look how far you have come Adriene! Thank you for continuing to inspire my home practice.
I just finished this one for the first time five minutes ago. She's amazing.
Laurie, I saw this 6 years later and wanted to ask you how you are doing now. ❤ I hope you are well.
Yep, same!! X
I really enjoyed it tonight thank you for thr subtitels as I am deaf.
You always keep going and be motivated
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and cheer you on ^_^
"We're here to notice the sensations, not to master the art of yoga. The art of yoga is really being in touch with those sensations." - Adriene
Every like I get, it’s for the amount of days I do this in a row, someone please help me get toned I really need some motivation !!❤️
are you still going? :)
How's that going for you, Belle???
I just liked. Keep going and never give up!
Johanna Brannon to be honest. I’ve been doing it only a couple days a week, I haven’t even SEEN all these notifications but, from now on I guess I got to do it every day :D
ana malesevic Thankyou so much!! ❤️
Returning to this after “Breath” and I have to say Adriene your grace, disposition and love has grown so much. As much as we have. We love you terribly. Thank you for your service. 🌙☀️✨🌻
I did the same, from "breathe", then here...and i totally agree with you...thank you, Adriane🙏
Was so tempted to skip it halfway. The struggle is real :) So proud of myself for sticking all the way through. Thank you Adriene x
45 min in I had to take an almost 5 minute break because my wrists were killing me, but I remember the months theme: courage. I pressed play and finished! So proud
Same here... took a mini break and just push it to the end... ready for tomorrow. So proud and full of courage
Thank you. For encourage me to finish it
Such a great workout ~ I’ve been doing a 15-20 min ‘session’ twice a day for 3 weeks ~ not sure I would have got through this without it!
Well done Ladies 🖤
Had a real crying break down in the middle of my practice but i finshed it !
Me, too! After level 2 alert, I feel that I can’t live without daily yoga now
Hey Jill, did you see any weight loss /inch loss during this period?
subasree arvind , No weight loss.
Namaste 🙏
are u still doing yoga and have seen any changes?
"let the light be with your small brain cells and the exhale of your comment be with you"
Nanah Davies The comment went completely over your head.
Don't be depressed! I'm sure you're a lovely person! Personally I hate running but I do re omen walking, it's peaceful like yoga😄 Also other people have a way of viewing yoga but I definitely love Adriene! Go austinites!
Siena Abbott Reomen walking? Please elaborate....
Oh I meant to say recommend lol
So I'm going to keep track of the progress I make on this video:
DAY 1- made it to 40 minutes, paused a couple of time
DAY 2- made it 47 minutes didn't pause the video but dropped out of a few positions to rest
DAY 3- made it 33 minutes started to feel faint so decided to leave it at that
DAY 4- Skipped day
DAY 5- Finished the routine with 3x5 minute breaks
I challenged myself to complete this entire video without stopping, and I did! :) I'm probably going to feel sore tomorrow, but right now I feel great.
This was FABULOUS. I love our voice, your instructions, your yoga philosophy AND that you just kept going and didn't edit. So human and lovely. Thank you! Looking forward to doing a LOT more.
I found these videos last spring. 85 pounds down. Your yoga classes have changed my life! Thank you! Namaste.
Which ones are your favorites?
For real? How many time per day/week you’ve practiced if you don’t mind me asking? Trying to build a routine here👌
I've been dreading this one since I started the 2020 COURAGE calendar. I'm making my mom do it with me to keep each other motivated, wish us luck!!!
I'm going to follow your example in reverse, and ask my daughter to do it with me. Courage!
Thanks!
Thank you! I think there are plenty of poses in this video safe to try for those without a 6 month practice! It is all about mindfulness and a commitment to practice with ease and integrity! Its about curiosity and mindfulness- lets not scare people away from yoga- but rather make sure the invitation in is lovely and open.
NEW EPISODE: Our Weight Loss Yoga series continues with an epic *60 Minute* Sequence! Try this out and let me know what you think.
Yoga With Adriene Hey Adriene. love the vids! I have trouble taking a full long breath. any tips? I don't have any lung medical issues
KI NG CHIKA uervo ycvdgng
probably burned 150-180 calories
Yoga With Adriene is it ok to mix revolution and this?
Yoga With Adriene is awsome
🙌🏼 Excelente 🧘🏼♀️🇨🇷
Cool!
Great job!! Maybe you could do the 15 minutes today!
Gentle reminders from this practice, “connect with the body”, “always move with grace, with ease”, “to be with the breath”, and “self-expression.” ☺️✨ Thank you so much Adriene and namaste 🙏🏻💗
Please make more long weight loss yoga sequences! They are great!
HELLO SUMMER 2020, welcome to the longest yet yoga with adriene! you got this, i got this. we all got this. namaste! tell me how it went in reply
Thanks for your comment! I was nervous starting this because it is so long, but I showed up and tried my best. Couple of swear words here and there (after the millionth plank) but I made it through.
I did it! Feel great!
I was afraid as well, but the hour passed more quickly than expected! Well done!
I. Loved. It. I was super sore afterwards, but totally worth it lol.
i was really scared before bcs i have never done a yoga video that long, but then it was waayyy easier than i expected. almost a bit too easy for my taste. but better this way than the other way around imo. i can always do more if i feel like it.
Thank you Danielle! Sending you love! Can't wait to be back in LA! Maybe a class in early Dec! Come join me xooxox
Danielle Keat
Love from Pakistan. This yoga practice along with some diet changes have transformed me so much Alhamdolillah..thanks
With Covid 19 causing an all out panic it was great to kill an hour of my lonely night with this. Thank you, Adriene♥️
Awww. Following The June calendar. First time going back this far. Surprize! It's not Benji! "Blue"! Beautiful. What a love.
That's my reaction exactly :D Not Benji? Blue? It was first time noticing this doggo :D
Can’t believe that was an hour!:D
It went by quickly, I feel rejuvenated. I want more.
Flow
this is awesome!:-)
Yeahh it felt like 3 hours 🥶🥶
@@bachpham5025 I thought we must be done at like 40 minutes in and then I checked the time 😭
I started doing yoga in 2019 because I thought it was going to be mindful and good for me.
Could you tell me what are yoga poses you do
My whole country is in quarantine (I'm from Italy) and I haven't been able to leave the house for a couple weeks. I've decided to try and pick up some yoga, this is the third video that I tried to follow. Really nice! Although I'm pretty sure I won't be able to walk tomorrow😂😂
Lots of love and strength from France Martjna, we're quarantined too. Stay strong!
I’m in California doing the same! We got this :)
Me too! Staying inside in California and happy I found Adriene’s vids :)
We just went into lockdown 2 days ago in the UK. I'm a nurse and I'm pretty sure time on my mat is what will get me through this. Sending so much love to you xxxx
I'm in South Korea, my gym closed and so I'm doing the same! Loving it so far!
Hey... Can you plzz tell how much weight u lose?
If you are struggling to deal with depression , anxiety and weightloss .This yoga session is great to work on all these three.Thank you Adriene for such great yoga session.
Sheesh! I loved it, hated it, loved it some more! Thanks for starting off my Saturday with some power and courage, Adriene.
My heels finally touched the floor in downward dog. This felt amazing. Thank you so much, Adriene.
It's my first time doing 1 hour yoga, thank you Adriene that was amazing.
Audrey L. ne vous inquiétez pas, votre anglais est bien compréhensible xD
I'm English, so pardon my French :D
Amanda
UK 4/05/23
I come back to this practice regularly. Been practicing with you for 5 years now. Thank you.
Done! This video is from 6 years ago. Time flies! Loved seeing blue the dog again.
Allow, release, let go. This has stayed with me since yesterday. Thank you for not only helping me with my body strength but also my mind strength. Power on July. Namaste.
who else is pre workout TERRIFIED
Thank god there are always options offered by Adriene ;) It went better than I thought!
haha your comment is so funny, exactly how i feel
Namaste.
I love waiting for Adriene to say Namaste after every video... just makes it all worth it
Adriene this and your other Total Body Workouts have been SO valuable to me especially since my gym has been closed due to the pandemic!
Day 6 Courage
I appreciate your comments at the end Adriene. I was able to get through half of it, but I especially appreciated going for the depth on the parts that I was able to do and then also sitting and learning during the parts that I was not able to do. This will help me to continue to grow during the other practices. Thank you! After all, it's not like there aren't plenty (over 100) of your other videos for me to supplement today's practice.
thank you so much! I always come back to you as you are my favourite, and I always come back to myself. thank you from my heart. You help me healing
I thought about watching Netflix or doing yoga with Adriene. Yoga won.
If you are open to it, the practice always seems to serve up exactly what you need - challenges and all!
+Yoga With Adriene I noticed that, it's so true! :)
SUPER YUMMY! That was AWESOME!!! Wow a great Saturday wake up work out!!! WOOHOO. Namaste and blessings on your day!
Adriene, you beast. Thanks for helping us intimitated newbies realize we've got the courage that this butt kicking class takes.
I believe in you all.
imagine sherlock holmes doing yoga lol
Day 12 done - It's my birthday! So really happy to finish my day like this :)
Happy birthday to you fellow yogi🤗🤗
Happy Birthday, Julian!!
@@yogawithadriene thank you!!
Hey, did you lose much weight with this?
Me too!!! Hahahah
@@pamknott4110 time spent on the matt is not normal time... it seems to go faster :)
Namaste.
