Google identified Swedish as danish?!?
*Google prepare for vikings and caroleans! This means war!!!*
Joakim started on keyboards - got drafted a singer.
Yes!!! I am so stoked that someone is checking out _Red Baron!!_
He was so highly respected by friend and foe alike that when he was shot down behind enemy lines, the Allied forces gave him a burial with honors. Can you imagine burying your enemy with honors because you respected him so much as a pilot? That's pretty amazing.
The second song Joakim played on the organ was part Swedish Pagan another Sabaton song
A bit late to the party perhaps but that was a great reaction! At the start of the video, the crowd was chanting
"Noch ein bier!" (I'm not german so my spelling could be off.) It means "One more beer!" and it has become a regular thing at concerts. I've seen it chanted in polish as well when they played at Woodstock in 2012.
And like it's been mentioned, Joakim started out as the band's keyboard player but since they didn't have a singer when they were recording their first few demos, the other band members told him to do the vocals until they could find a singer. Well, that never happened. I saw a video of him saying that eventually, they were talking about recruiting a keyboard player and Joakim tried to say that it was his job and got told that: "Nah, you're the singer". :P
I think I speak for many people when I say I'm eternally grateful for that because his voice is amazing and such a perfect fit for their music.
It was tradition to award pilots who earned a kill a silver star medal.
Out of the 80 kills Manfred had only earned around 50 or so silver stars because the German Empire was experiencing a silver shortage and he refused to accept bronze medals as substitutes.
And the second song on the organ was a Sabaton song called Swedish Pagans. A song Joakim has a love/hate relationship with, he hates it, but most of the band and nearly every crowd they play for loves it.
The song at the beginning was Swedish Pagans. I would strongly suggest listening to "Sabaton - Swedish Pagans - Live at Wacken Open Air 2019," including a top cello player.
What i love with Sabaton, they are really having fun on stage with the crowd! I been lucky to attend 4 times on their Sabaton Cruise, 24h cruise with 2k fans and Sabaton on a boat 😎
Lead singer Joakim main instrument, the one he started with in his journey into music, was an organ.
The organ is The red patrons plane. (Sorry of you or anyone else mentioned it) .
The song Jocke played before the red baron was the start of the song Swedish pagans.
Manfred von Richthofen actually landed his plane twice being badly wounded. First time he got shot to the head and was found then and cured but had a changes in his personality due to brain damages making him somewhat reckless which caused the second time, you talked about.
If you ever get back to these, check out the Lyric Version of Sabaton's The Attack of The Dead Men
you should react to Sabaton - Nightwitches its EPIC🤘🤘
Man ! Nice show :) ! Keep geting that SABATON fix ;))))))))))
I’m so glad you’re looking at the website first for the history now. See what I mean about it making the first reaction to the songs even better?!
Did you check out the history channel yet? It’s seriously worth a watch too.
Joakim, the lead singer, plays keyboard and guitars (probably more but that’s what you see him play on stage sometimes). He’s also the writer of 99% of the songs, and the other 1% he wrote with input from other people. Extremely talented guy, though being a typical humble Swede I’m sure he’d play his talent down.
Deep Purple is my favorite band, and, of course, Jon Lord was the master of the Hammond. RIP Jon Lord. 💔
Good reaction man
May I suggest if you want a more slow song from Sabaton to react to - and one filled emotion - look up Sabatons En livstid I krig, it’s about the 30 years war from a Swedish soldier’s perspective - note to turn on captions so you can read the subtitles/lyrics in English
He already did en livstid i krig ua-cam.com/video/bXX3nB9ob5w/v-deo.html&t
Best Reaction Ever🤭🤣🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
At 8.49 it look like two friends finally found each other after a pandemia.
If you want upbeat songs I strongly suggest, To hell and back, Rorke's drift, Blood of bannockburn and Shiroyama
It’s not a Hammondorgan. If you look more closely then you will see that it is actually a synthesizer lying in a mockup of a Hammond organ with a mockup of a plane on top 😂.
did he call a propeller a rudder
correct me if I'm wrong
I'm not educated in planes and ships
A bit of trivia: on drums Hannes van Dahl, husband to a certain Floor Jansen....
