Joakim is the bands official keyboardplayer. He was keyboardplayer & songwriter way before he was a singer actually. Joakim actually started when he was a kid (around the age of 10) as a keyboard player on the Hammond (they had one at home + he got lessons for it too) & church organ, so he definitely knows what he was playing. The thing is, he played the Hammond parts on the album with a "real" one & he's doing a funny "bit" here for the audience. It's much more interesting to say the metal frontman like him is playing a Hammond organ (since it sounds like one) than to just say keyboard. They are also on a long tour around europe here so a Hammond is more trouble than it's worth, to try drag around, so this is a compromise that 99,9% of the people won't even notice...

Totally agree. And quitare often one of them start the solo and the other one ends it. Even Joakim plays guitar in certain songs and there are many banters of that. My favourite must still be the guitarbattle between Joakim and Floor Jansen. Yes I know it was staged but it´s still hillarious:)
As a newcomer to the music of Sabaton, I'm loving the stage energy that is on display here. Lots of showmanship by Joakim too. Great production value with such a unique decor! Loved the song, it's energizing and encouraging. As for the camera angles, though quite unusual, yet interesting, I would've liked seeing some frontal shots of the performance as well. 🤘😎🤘
It’s to se my bearded brother back again. A great version and an awsome guitarsolo by Tommy, it sucks that the kameraman didn’t show him. Tommy played the solo, like only Tommy can. I’ve got a short glims of him behind the aeroplane. Thanks for your reaction ❤️❤️.
Well that was something. Gotta love how he revved up the crowd. Quite the keyboard. Have to like that view from the front of those at the ‘pilot’ of the boards. Great song,video,and crowd. Great reaction to it. Great to see both together here again. 🙏🙏🙏
I think Tommy does play the solo on that one. It's a little confusing who plays what on these live videos as although from the camera view Tommy is on the right and Chris is on the left, the audio mix is the opposite way round (like how the crowd is seeing/hearing them).
Joakim started as the keyboard player. He could sing so they told him to do vocals until they could find somebody. Joakim has said that they never found anyone and called them those lazy bast*rds. They brought in a Daniel Myhr to play keyboards in 2005. Joakim said But I am the keyboard player. the band said No you are the singer. Joakim said F***! 🤣
So Chris has been lead guitarr before Tommy joined tha band, btw. Tommy isn't the only guitarrist. Btw they are BOTH LEADguitarrists right now. It's not just one of them. There are A LOT of songs that Christ is playing the solos in, AND the verses. The Tommy hype is getting old :/ He is great, don't get me wrong, but let's get the other band members of Sabaton some love too, ok. I've literally watched reactors "go Tommy!" on Chris' solos, and it's a bit heartbreaking. Like in "Soldier of Heaven", that is Chris' solo. Among several. And Joaking started out as the keyboardist of Sabaton, or before the name became a thing, but he was the only singer at the time, so... Someone else got the keyboard xD
I agree. I'm a huge Tommy fan, but as a Sabaton fan it makes me very sad when Chris is ignored. Chris is an amazing guitar player and he actually co-wrote some of the biggest Sabaton hits with Joakim.

A real Hammond costs a lot of money nowadays around 30000 dollar in Sweden so its not for everyone.
