Somethings I glossed over that may help your sim turn out better.
    - Select your domain, under "Gas" Try increasing the Vorticity
    - Select your domain, under "Advanced" change "Compression Volumes" to "zip"
    - Select your domain, under "Adaptive Domain" try changing "Add Resolution" to 1
    - Try adding forces to your scene
Hopefully if you are having issues this may help a little

@@sergosdeoliveros8033 you can do either they are all modifiers including nodes, and as a result you can mix and match, just experiment, i'm not the authority on it but have watched other doing it effectively in other ways you may not have thought of, experiment with Blender more than one way to do it :O) and Just Enjoy :O)

i love that you are trying to do it in native Blender, use and move the tool forward, not just give up and use houdini like some do, always good to see people pushing the boundaries of Blender and perceptions of what is and isn't possible! great to see, and yes he is aweseome i love his youtubes!

Awesome!! Mac user here. Had Houdini Indie on my system for sometime learning what I could because, well, it's the best for this sort of thing. Blender has come a long way and with the development of particle nodes coming for 3.6 this hopefully will get easier (less resource taxing) for our systems. Love this tutorial. Thank you.
Holding out hope that with the particle system updates they will incorporate some really good geo nodes for erosion simulations for terrain modelling, like Houdini.

There is a To Sphere function, shortcut is Shift Alt S hope that saves some time! Works on selection in edit mode so subdiv cube, apply, use this and you'll be good to go. It works like any other operator 0.0 -> 1.0

@@attimp4 there is also another way for achieving this quickly, just go into preferences - Add-ons and tick the checkbox for Add Mesh: Extra Objects.
After that if you hit Shift+A and navigate to mesh there is a "round cube". After adding the round cube to your scene you can change the radius in the object settings on the left down side of the viewport.

Hey, there's an easier way of getting the sphere with good topology. You can enable the "Extra Objects" addon that comes with blender, and select the Round Cube option from the mesh menu. Then, just set the radius to 1.0 on the properties menu that pops up.

Don't get me wrong, you can find some motion graphics tutorials for blender, however they don't seem to get the same hype or result as other programs like C4D which is basically made for motion graphics.
