hear me out hear me out, what if, you can use magazines as extra bullets, like "oh no I'm out, I will rotate my gun 90 degrees and deploy my magazine towards enemies" I know it's pretty dumb but could be fun
You were on the verge of something great there... In the city, magazine stands at kiosks should allow you to grab a magazine and jam it in your gun. Free bullets!
Guilty as well! I just love how After Effects is 100% nondestructive and it has a lot more effects than Photoshop. I also have issues with commitment, so it suits me perfectly.
I love seeing that you are using wiggle bones all the time now! my co-worker Steve made the addon, he's super talented and so happy to see that you've mentioned it a few times in videos now :)
This project looks so awesome! I am totally on board with the intentional stylistic choice, and super impressed with how much you've done so far! I'll definitely be there to see further progress :)
This game looks breath taking. Honestly. Those low poly shapes, cool lighting, and beautiful landscapes is like a childhood dream come true. Keep on guys!!
impressive doesn’t even begin to cover it. hats off to you and your buddies, this game looks so awesome and the fact that it’s just the 3 of you is even more impressive.
wait i'm really inspired to see that there is a possibility of 90's low graphic games' rising! hope indie devs will go along this way. i sure will go this road.
Hey Peter, this is a really great devlog and really inspired me to make a lot of progress with my GameDev journey! thank you, and you should totally make more devlogs!
Can't wait to hear more about this game. Please give us more updates about your progress if you can. This is a very interesting and special game already for me.
You're too good Peter. Very nice video and really fun to see the process of creating the animations and characters. Thanks for naming the addons, they seem really useful.
Dude... this Is the channel I have been looking for my entire life. THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!! Heartshot looks so cool I been waiting for a ps1 style VR game I think it's a genius combination. I can't wait to binge all ur videos lol.
Thank you so much for showcasing the new video service for mocap! Sometimes these videos feel pretty alienating when you bust out the $10k+ mocap suit. That changes things entirely.
Absolutely love the shite textures and low poly models along with the hyper detailed specular highlights! Awesome esthetic. Can't wait to hear more about this game!
Looking at what's here I thought I'd already missed a few logs! But I'm glad I caught this at the start, this looks like a real treat, I can't wait to see more!
I never commented but I had to say thank you I randomly wanted to see your work and found the perfect tutorial for what has been troubling me for a month
This game gives me "house of the dead" vibes. I've played countless hours of that games in several arcades. And still get hyped if i see a machine somewhere. So... REALLY looking forward to a release. This could be (besides Beatsaber) the one thing that makes me keep my VR setup haha!
Never thought you would get into the PS1 Style 🙌😅 Maybe through you, our community gets a bit more recognition and appreciation. Welcome to the family! The project looks fun AF :D can't wait for more. I hope you're maybe open for some questions about the project in the future. I would love to make a video about it.
@@aliatef7203 Yes!! some are very much into accuracy, some are more open, but overall we are a tight small community and a counter-culture to triple-A bullshit.
@@StarkCraftsYT lets gooo, im making a couple of vr games and seriously considering going full ps1 mode but idk if it'll be marketable with that style :( holy grail for me tho is making it look like xenogears' environments, that game is peak ps1 style
I love the PS1 feel, but I have had this idea after watching the video. What if you could switch between a few different preset styles for NPCs. If you want a more performance friendly game, do the PS1 graphic setting for the NPC. If you want a more immersive game than pick the better NPC model. Obviously this is for a later update after the launch of the game and is not at all a priority, I do think that it would be a very cool add to VR titles now. Super exited for the game and can't wait to play!!

@@Enginehearth that is such a good idea 😂

As a motion designer I haven’t even noticed this joke before you pointed it out haha

I've only had it break during sessions, ruining linked proxy collections
So cool Peter! Can't wait to see this progress. Absolutely love the nostalgic PS1 era vibes, you've totally nailed it.
Looking forward to the dev logs!!
