Just traded my 2016 XD diesel platinum reserve for the new 2021 pro4x XD put 85,000 miles with no problems original brakes loved my Nissan that’s why I went with Nissan again awesome underrated trucks
@@aaroncamatti4069 me too! Sucks that they come out with this refreshed kodel with the panoramic roof but now you cut get the diesel. Its not Nissan fault though because it was cummins that discontinued that engine. They need to find another diesel for the XD amd not a tiny 3.0 that is in all these half tons.
@@davidcox2197 not too small, but definitely not any more fuel efficient as the big 3 3/4 tons, but the 3.92 rear end has alot to do with that. At 75 I'm turning 2000rpm, in my 2500 ram work truck with the cummins 6.7 I'm only turning about 1700rpm at 75.
LOVE the new Titan Pro-4X inside and out. I especially like the steering column shifter, the steering wheel, the new entertainment center but they still lacking on the interior when compared to the F-150 or RAM 1500. Also, don't like the antiquated antenna, we're in 2020 for crying out loud! In my opinion it's a really nice truck.
I’d really like to see an actual head to head with the XD pro 4x vs the tundra trd pro. Later this year or early next year I’ll be purchasing a new truck and I’m really loving the Titan xd but not many talk about it. I’m curious about longevity because I’ll be driving a ton cross country with this truck and I need to know it’ll serve me well past that 100k warranty. The research continues! I do love the fact that you actually reviewed the xd! Everyone always review the Baja storm but you can’t find them on the lot! Lol I swear Nissan sent them all to the press and the dealerships don’t have them haha. Great review brothers. This truly is a beautiful truck. I’d love to see more off road with this beauty though. Also, you changed to 4 high on the fly but will it do the same with 4 low? (Silly question but I’m asking anyways 🤣).
Go for it I really like the new Silverado look and Colorado but I had issues with Chevy before 2005 s10 and 2007 Colorado sensor issues and computer issues so I give up with Chevy Toyota tundra is good but I don't like the look so I went with Nissan Titan instead
Toyota lover here... I just bought this exact truck.... I love it... Its phenomenal.... I brought it to ram and ford and told them to get me the same truck setup for 1000 less than what nissan offered and they couldn't even come close
Titan XD is way more truck than tundra. Not even in the same class of truck. Xd is more 3/4 than 1/2 ton. Way underrated truck. I have an xd and tow 10000 lb camper and it doesn’t know it’s there. Love my pro4x

The DRL's in my 2019 Titan stay off if you engage the parking brake prior to starting the engine. Once released, the DRL's turn on again or with any light switch.
Does this truck have aux trans cooling for towing? The new Tundra has zero, just a single cooler/warmer at the trans with heater hoses routed to it. No extra radiator cooling!
Anakin Skyboogie, yeah the Ford F-150 is the best selling Half-Ton Garbage in North America, chassis is made from crap aluminum probably Half-Ton Reynold's Aluminum foil folded and became a damn chassis. Totally garbage, a garbage that can't be recycled. 😂👎. If I want a new half ton truck I will go for the basic Nissan Titan gas V8's single cab with 8ft bed, or a Chevy Silverado 2500 single cab for a man's work truck. Or perhaps a Toyota tundra.

Titans are very UNDERRATED. I personally love my '17 Titan SV, very fun to drive.
Have a 2018 XD SL with the cummins. Incredible truck. I've owned everything on the market and Titan takes them all down easily.

Nissan Titan was bad in 2016-2017 years but in 2018 models they fix the issues

I like the XD but does the XD need a larger displacement than a 5.6? Ram has the 6.4 and Ford has the 7.3. Does the XD need something as large?

I know in my other Nissan and my 19 Titan if I switch the headlight switch to off it turns off the DRL's.
