    Oh Jake, I’m so relating to the crying, not being able to cry because one is too depressed or exhausted to cry. I had a lifetime of that until I found health strategies that worked for me. It’s so individual and complicated as everyone is so different.

    Sing gorgeous. You’re such an encouraging person. I pray for you so often. Im believing God for your healing. You sharing your information is priceless. I took my first hyperbaric treatment today. Was like being in a submarine. “Under the sea”. Oxygen heals. Kaplan has some UA-cam on it. Anyway. Smile princess. You’re a winner

    I’m so glad I’ve found your videos. I have so many of the same issues as you. Bartonella, MCAS, SIBO. Your experience with crying is eerily similar to mine. I have times where I wish I could cry, but I can’t. To me it feels like I’m too unwell to cry when that happens. Sorry you’re experiencing the same, but it’s nice to know I’m not alone. Thanks for making these videos to share your experiences.

    brooooo the little mermaid still haunts me because I was part of a stage production of it in middle school so that singing was bad but it sure did stir up some memories
    re: ptsd, only 25% of people who experience a traumatic event develop ptsd so you're definitely not wrong about that
    and also your videos are the reason my mcas was caught before it became severe and I'm going to be tested for sibo soon. I never would have thought to look into mcas because I only ever associated with anaphylaxis and I just attributed my symptoms to my known allergies triggering systemic inflammation (sounds an awful lot like mcas lol).
    thank you as always for making these videos and consider your ads kissed ❤️

      Thank you for that PTSD stat. Imma keep that one in my back pocket. And bhahaha I was in some theater camp as a kid and dear god I can't type this without laughing okay so the acting coach made us do this play where we were all in the great depression (great engaging material for elementary school kids) and there was this big monster made out of broomsticks and trashcans and as people passed by the monster it would coerce the passersby to join and be a part of the monster. I'm pretty sure I became an arm and held a broom stick from behind the weird ass construction. If you're confused by all of that, don't worry, so am I. And haunted

    Just wanted to share with you that 2 of my sons were taking Pepcid and Zyrtec then developed bad anxiety and depression. I hope that’s not the case for you but just wanted to let you know that can be a side effect of both meds.😞 Thank you for sharing your story. I’ve learned so much for you. It’s so difficult watching my son suffer from bartonella and I so hope there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for him and everyone that has it. ❤️

    lol The Ham sandwich is actually a good analogy to explain how people can be toxic. Someone not getting better during a treatment should be interpreted as the complexity and severity of the illness and situation the person is dealing with. Not, the weakness of the person dealing with it. Meanwhile, the person dealing with it is probably being strong in a way that the people being judgmental don't understand. The experience of Bartonella itself is traumatic, then you have to deal with all this peripheral stuff. Its really a strength a lot of people don't understand.

    You are helping so many people, I will start the sibo treatment soon, thanks for your video! Did you try betain hcl in periods of low stomach acid? I could not digest at all without these ( 1/3-1/2of a capsule) I had these mast cell reactions when drinking water too, about 2 years ago, the lower the acid the worse was the reaction. And concerning amino acids, do you tolerate Bcaa (which do not contain sulfur)?

    • @BartonellaBabe
      @BartonellaBabe  3 роки тому

      Oh I'm excited for you to start treating SIBO! I hope you see some relief from it. And that makes sense that someone can have reactions if the food is just sitting in there undigested. A couple of my doctors have mentioned BCAA and that probably should have been what I tried instead of the IV amino acids but live and learn! Right now I'm sulfur deficient. That's a whole long story that I'm not ready to talk about yet but when I am, I will be making a video on what I've learned

    So I was also drinking nothing but alkaline water for months and I was having this awful nausea,gas, bloat. I finally stopped and started taking zyrtec and pepcid daily for MCAS and the gut issues are better. But wouldn't pepcid do the same thing that alkaline water does?? Doesnt it get rid of stomach acid?

    • @BartonellaBabe
      @BartonellaBabe  3 роки тому

      Good question! Yes Pepcid does decrease the release of stomach acid by blocking H2. However, most MCAS patients (not all) have an inappropriate release of stomach acid due to the histamine response. So the H2 brings MCAS patients back to "normal." Finding the right dose is key. Furthermore, H2 blockers help many MCAS patients with bloating, including me. I don't know the mechanism behind this but the point is that H2 blockers will do more to help an MCAS patient than just stomach acid as opposed to alkaline water

    Jake sorry yr having so many heartbreaking setbacks. Birds pooping on you is meant to be good luck. Not sure about ham sandwiches but maybe that bird was just a bad shot😀 trying to tell something. Your experiences seem like all different setbacks but they are all the same triggers to me...
    For me - amino acid IV - inability to handle sulphur amino acids (and histadine) dx acid Oates test
    Lactulose - contains sulfites (in Aust it’s written on the label but not in your country)
    Water - contains sulphur. I can only drink one brand
    Margaret Moss (uk researcher/dietician) says we are either sulphur or MCAS people. I chased mcas for four years and now finally see my issues are sulphur. It manifests the same. Burning nerve pain etc
    If you have problems in that pathway there can also be problems with phenols/salicylate/amines/sulfites/sulphate because they all use that pathway and it becomes overwhelmed
    The one, two three Reaction time is the bucket affect… How full or empty it is
    I’m sensitive to a lot of drugs because they are salicylate or sulphur based.
    There’s also a connection to mould detox which I can forward if you are interested but I’m too crashed to articulate that right now. Unfortunately I am back in mould temporarily and I am reacting to absolutely everything again after seeing some improvement and recovery.

    • @BartonellaBabe
      @BartonellaBabe  3 роки тому

      I don't agree that you can only be a sulfur or an MCAS person. I definitely have MCAS and I definitely have sulfur intolerance. Treating SIBO has helped the MCAS and the sulfur intolerance and because I have treated the SIBO I have been able to handle more foods and supplements to help sulfur processing recently. Sorry to hear of your recent setback. I'm sure we all know how that feels but at least some recovery has happened before so you know it can happen again! ❤️🙂

    • @susanyeates9724
      @susanyeates9724 3 роки тому

      You’re right you can have sulphur intolerance +mcas. Anything that causes inflammation can flare mast cells. Chemicals in foods can also trigger nerve endings which will flare mast cells too. Margaret explained to me it was about finding where the genetic weakness was...mast cells or transulfation pathway so we could fix it cuz Sibo is considered adaptive. Keep singing and I’ll keep listening❤️

    "MerMade"...your singing voice is...um, uncommon, enigmatic, atypical, unique, distinct, a true "rarity", and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise. And yes, I am textually "kiester canoodling"... "posterior snogging"... "gluteus maximus bussing"...engaging in "badunkadunk osculation congress". Alright, enough out of me, as I'm off for dinner. I like to start with an aperitif of extra strength Robitussin, blended with Pepto-Bismol, (shaken, not stirred) followed by a main course of potato's and chicken (dry, no seasoning...you know, histamine) followed by a dessert of flambéed Prednisone, with some Montelukast sprinkles, and finish that off with a healthy dose of Children's Benadryl (cuz its red dye free)...through a sippy straw. Sing it SIBO Sister!! :)
