Actually, what lifts the roofs up in the event of strong winds is the negative pressure. I'm surprised they let you install them this way.The drip edge is supposed to be embedded in roof cement and primed .

Ironic that you are roofing a VOR which is a guidance system for aircraft, and yet your theory about wind needing to get under the roof to lift it up is a well known aerodynamics concepts, similar to Bernoulli's Principle. It is related somewhat to the principal that causes the aircraft wing to create lift and fly. The theory is that anytime you force wind to travel a longer distance, such as over the top of a roof after it hits the side of the building, the speed of the wind flow increases dramatically. This creates lift, creates a vacuum. This is typically what causes a flat roof to blow off, when a vacuum is created,, it is typically not because wind got under the roof.
Suggestion that will make you more likable; use rookies (male, female, young, old, and different race) to do the work and you and your wife will be the speakers. Everything you do seems so easy, but when a new person in that environment perform it for the first time is not so easy, and if the new person mess it up you can fix it on the spot. this will narrow the gap between the professional and the new. The info about blow of is wrong, roof dont only blow of because the comes under the roofing. Always mechanic fastening the roofing material on the seams. Thats what we do here in norway. :)

Negative Pressure? Drip edge is not ES-1 rated. Edge is loose within 7 years. OSHA nightmare.
