when nemo said every choice is the right path, must mean that our lives, regardless of our choices is always the right one because it is what it is, there is no right or wrong in making a decision because both of them are just that
It's one of my favourite movies just because of this. There's some movies that are super random and not well thought out, idk sharknado or so. And then there's Mr. Nobody. Lots of layers, lots of meaning. Very messy, but still coherent and makes sense if you analyse it. Probably watched it like 4 times or so and I think I understand it better now.
I love how all the sci fi future movies think the future is going to be a perfectly clean all-white grayscale world where everything is absolutely unrecognizable when in reality it'll likely just be our current world but more polluted and with some fancier electronics.
Nope, the future is, in this order: Revolution of biotech => manipulation of matter and living biology (ie. becoming whatever combination of biological abnormality you want, including but not limited to being a living, breathing organic spaceship that travels in space) => structuralization and stabilization of light (ie. living as energy) => coexisting with the void => reversal of the big bang causing the integration of the void and matter to separate like oil and water, thereby making matter attract matter and form a singular mass- before expanding again => exhaustion of energy itself and everything is just empty masses of floating space.
"Babies get to choose their mother" millions of babies apparently: Yo! Let's get born in an impoverished and starving country where we might get killed by war!
This touches something I’ve dwelled on, that the expansion of our universe can reverse causing a total collapse of matter and time space at an opposite rate equal to the first seconds of the Big Bang’s expansion. Very cool topic.

actually the boy Nemo in this movie does not create any possibility, because he has the ability to "remember" the future, so which of all these lives is real? ALL OF THEM ARE REAL
I've seen this movie a decade ago and oh gosh, it was an enlightenment for the young mind of mine, I still remember how much I loved this movie, it was everything.
Actually one of my fav movies Reminds me a relationship I had back in 4th grade with a girl I dated that moved away.. never to be heard or seen from again.. back when life was simple easy, without responsibility, to be young and dumb.
Jst think like this Nemo has the superpower of seeing the future so when he was supposed to choose 1 of his parents he saw all the possible future outcomes and so he decided to not go with either of them which led to his current future ..
I am so thankful to people like him that go the extra mile to explain these types of movies in such an organized and concise way. Because I can tell you for a certainty that if I were to watch this movie from beginning to end several times, I still would not have understood as much as I did just by watching his video. Bravo to you sir!!!!
This perfectly ties in with the parallel universe theory. Every choice you make, every decision you take, all the possibilities play out seperately in a new parallel universe. Read about it in His dark materials by Phillip pullman. Really great fantasy trilogy. I love this movie. Leaves me in awe.
Surviving with a functional mind for eternity after the universe dies out with just the dark and coldness with the memories merging with our imagination.
This man found out the best possible outcome for his life when he was 9 because he knew the universe was going to go into a big crunch if he made it to 118yo. He literally tricked reality in order to live his best life 2 times over.
Man the mom high key sucks. Gets with his girl's Dad, turning his relationship into pseudo-incest, then finally breaks it off with this guy to ruin her son's relationship, all after breaking the kid's home by cheating on his Dad.
Don't know if you already saw this movie. But I can tell you this, the first time I saw it i was so confused that had to rewatch it again afterwards. One of my favorite movie ever. Even after watch it more times i always find some little detail that somehow connects with the characters. Such an underrated movie.
So why is it people's plans always go awry? It's a nice belief, but its false, countless people went to college for degrees in whatever field, and never found jobs in those fields, they believed the entire time they would, countless people started businesses that they believed would flourish, but ultimately didn't, countless people have loved someone and thought they would be loved back, but weren't. Not trying to be an ass, but believing in yourself doesn't mean success all the time. It can aid in it, but there are countless things that just happen and completely ruin goals and dreams, people should be more realistic about things, and abandon telling their children they can just do anything they want. People should have backup plans for when things fail.
@@justinm4497 Your half right and half delusional I think a little more delusional cause you clearly don't understand how self belief and manifestation works. Pretty much every successful person manifested their fate and had a strong belief in themselves being successful in life instead of "being realistic and letting life control you cause everything is based on luck", because the truth is luck is just how your subconscious manifested something that came to reality without you knowing, someone winning the lottery isn't luck, it's the second they believed they already won. Your actions depict your entire future, everything you do will effect a random event, just because you believed you could do something and you didn't achieve your goal, doesn't mean you can't have more faith in yourself and identify what went wrong and try again, You think that just because you failed at something you thought you believed in you should just give up and be "realistic" and then go on living on a minimum wage telling your kids that they probably wont get anywhere in life, because then you had no belief in the first place and if it was that easy to just think of being successful then everyone would be, it takes determination to unlock this power of the mind, everything around you comes from within the mind, i know it's hard to believe in this rat race you live in, but thanks to evolution we have the power to control our lifes however we want, remember this before you have kids because they deserve a chance in life.
the power of the game effect do to being able to see the potential futures his life is like a open choice rpg it makes everything predictable and unsuprising and thus overtime less real less solid
The promise of time are only experiences. In this case the ultimate promise was only more time. Nothing became true, reality was framed by a single pair of eyes, the witnesses of death after immortality brings it all to an end and again.
I've heard this before and believe the notion that we are souls who get to choose our circumstances before we are born which include a selection of possibilities throughout our lifetime. Kind of like a video game where you select your character&circumstances that you start out with and you know what choices would lead to what direction of development of the game.
“Somehow, the angels forget about Nemo allowing him to _remember_ different possible _futures_ “ Never have I ever understood a sentence that I don’t understand as much as this one (Edit): Also I’ve never ever thought of Time to be a desperate dimension, and the thought of it is so interesting
The movie explains before you're born you exist in heaven with all knowledge of every possible future you could have. But right before you're born your memories are erased. For some reason they forgot to erase Nemo's. Which is why every outcome is shown. The ending is him choosing to neither go with his mom or dad because he knows both end unhappily.
Your narration is very good. Clear and articulate with a nice, calming energy behind it. I would imagine you spent quite a bit of time honing that. It's very well done. Kudos!
Nemo is actually Elon and that’s why he’s so focused on going to Mars for “nothing”, to go and spread the ashes of his first and only true wife from his Original Timeline.
Time reversing seems pretty miserable here. You accurately put it: "Nemo is able to return to his childhood, watch his parents get back together, and be with Anna." Watching and being are passive things that don't have action to them, as all his actions have already been determined. This has now become the movie where you have no free will.
Ok so here it goes sorry for the mistake I’m not a native speaker Mr Nobody has several layers when you spend the time to evalute the way each storyline incorrects. One that always seems striking to me when rewatching the movie with the ending in mind is how Nemo might actually not have powers. Let's look at it that way : a child is currently faced with the terrible choice of going with his father or his mother and is therefore evaluating every possible outcome to make the best decisions. Such scenario could totally be possible with Nemo not having powers. That’s why every life seems to have strange events and twist, it is because everything might be fully created by the child. Take for example the main variable of each life which is who he ends up marrying : Don’t you find strange that all of them are from his hometown and all seems to be attracted to him while they are kids ? It’s almost as if his future is solely based on his current perception of love (and lovers). One other strong evidence to me is the Mars storyline. If everything is predicted how can he be at the same time writing a fiction and this fiction is reality for one of his storyline ? It seems that his love for space stuff leads to him fantasizing about a life spent in a ship and on mars. There’s a lot to unpack because every story therefore have a little way of linking it to Nemo’s life as a kid and therefore his perceive vision of life. Take for example the rich life, it’s the voice of the kid speaking not the adolescent even tho he’s supposedly the one making that decision so it means that this is also a kid fantasy. However the one thing that might contradict this theory is every iteration of Nemo’s powers. Easily enough we can argue that’s it’s totally normal that Nemo has powers after the event of the train because he believes himself to have power so the way he’s perceiving himself in the future must have powers in his imagination. It is however less easy for every power event before the train. What I believe is that this ‘idea’ of power comes from Nemo’s personal guilt when faced with the accident of his father. He cannot accept that he would have had no power in this situation and therefore convince himself that he saw the event coming. Don’t you hear all the time people saying that they felt an event coming even though they did nothing about it ? It is just a normal psychological mechanism of reassurance.
I agree... even I feel like it has nothing to do with the powers. Like we can see that when the reality of Mr Nobody starts collapsing. Maybe the kid Nemo had that much of intelligence to calculate and predict or visualize things very precisely. Nothing except that 9 year old kids decision matters in this film. Not the immortal world thing or the old nemo talking shit about this past or choices. It's just in the movie for us
not according this youtube channel, Nemo power to see the past and future comes from when universe contract, while at that time he the only one not made artificially, so time goes reverse and he can see the future, which is old Nemo past

Jst think like this
Nemo has the superpower of seeing the future so when he was supposed to choose 1 of his parents he saw all the possible future outcomes and so he decided to not go with either of them which led to his current future ..
The movie is more frustrating to watch.
Not an easy film to recap, because it's not an easy film to understand in the first place! Lol
I am so thankful to people like him that go the extra mile to explain these types of movies in such an organized and concise way. Because I can tell you for a certainty that if I were to watch this movie from beginning to end several times, I still would not have understood as much as I did just by watching his video. Bravo to you sir!!!!
That's because you must watch it from end to beginning for it to be clear as day !
nah he just copied this off of Wikipedia, you can read the plot on there
This perfectly ties in with the parallel universe theory. Every choice you make, every decision you take, all the possibilities play out seperately in a new parallel universe. Read about it in His dark materials by Phillip pullman. Really great fantasy trilogy. I love this movie. Leaves me in awe.
If I'm being honest, being immortal is the worst thing to ask for.
Surviving with a functional mind for eternity after the universe dies out with just the dark and coldness with the memories merging with our imagination.
Only if you're the only immortal, watching everyone and everything around you wither and rot

Being an immortal, i know you are right. Life is no fun if it does not come with unknown death. Life dies without death.
@@spirituser7354 are you saying you are immortal?
This man found out the best possible outcome for his life when he was 9 because he knew the universe was going to go into a big crunch if he made it to 118yo. He literally tricked reality in order to live his best life 2 times over.

Shower thoughts of a super genius who can think in the fifth dimension.
Plot twist: this movie's idea was got to the maker through the shower thoughts!
This story tells us that there is no limit in our own imagination. We can be whatever we want and whatever we believe.
Too bad we can't turn and go back to our past, we live with whatever our decisions are whether good or bad
And we adapt, forever changing, forever persistent, humanity in its all
@@justinm4497 Your half right and half delusional I think a little more delusional cause you clearly don't understand how self belief and manifestation works.
They said I can be whatever I want, so I became a frog

the power of the game effect do to being able to see the potential futures his life is like a open choice rpg it makes everything predictable and unsuprising and thus overtime less real less solid
It's like Detroit become human, u care but u know what's gonna happen.
Seems pretty accurate to me
Sounds Buddhist
The promise of time are only experiences. In this case the ultimate promise was only more time. Nothing became true, reality was framed by a single pair of eyes, the witnesses of death after immortality brings it all to an end and again.
I've heard this before and believe the notion that we are souls who get to choose our circumstances before we are born which include a selection of possibilities throughout our lifetime. Kind of like a video game where you select your character&circumstances that you start out with and you know what choices would lead to what direction of development of the game.
If that was the case, no one would have existed in the middle ages

Never have I ever understood a sentence that I don’t understand as much as this one
(Edit): Also I’ve never ever thought of Time to be a desperate dimension, and the thought of it is so interesting
Ok
Well Time or lack there of makes many people quite desperate.
Time always has been the 4th dimension, it's the first thing to be explained if you even google 4th dimension.
What are you telling? ! Is it alien language
Your narration is very good. Clear and articulate with a nice, calming energy behind it. I would imagine you spent quite a bit of time honing that. It's very well done. Kudos!

Time reversing seems pretty miserable here. You accurately put it: "Nemo is able to return to his childhood, watch his parents get back together, and be with Anna." Watching and being are passive things that don't have action to them, as all his actions have already been determined. This has now become the movie where you have no free will.
Wow... This was a beautiful movie. Instead of finding paths, he made his own and found happiness... That's truly inspirational. :')
you would probably like the movie the butterfly effect it has very simular style
“Nemo’s mother told him to stop playing Skyrim,” haha that was good.
Ok so here it goes sorry for the mistake I’m not a native speaker
Mr Nobody has several layers when you spend the time to evalute the way each storyline incorrects.
