ended up getting the Special K mod to limit my fps to under 120fps, instructions here: performance.moddinglinked.com/falloutnv.html#specialk . the game seems to be a bit more stable now
Hi, just to let you know Charisma is an entirely useless stat with only around 5 checks in the entire game. It only adds “Inspire” which buffs companions and boosts your speech and barter skills. I’d recommend changing it to 1 and redistributing the points :)
@@Bernoris nah bro stop acting like spending 5 special points into CHR just for animal friend is a good move, if you want to do it because you just like it that's fine, everyone can play hpwever they want, but don't pretend it makes charisma not useless😂

I enjoy this modlist though idk if the mod is broken or if the author changed it but it seems that Skill Book are no longer permanent and function like the magazine do in the game and wear off. I'm currently trying to find a way to revert this change but I am unable to find it through the mod list.
Some of the npc faces are screwed up for me, so far only male, wgere the face texture isn't placed correctly on the face. any idea what the problem could be
Turn down the graphic settings to medium or high and also install NVAC new Vegas anti crash and it will help 10x with the crashes with zero impact to shaders or look of the game. I have a RTX 2070 but I haven’t had a crash in over four hours of gameplay with these tweaks.
This one is very good!!! I like how you can skip over the long character build to only the necessary stuff. The lightning works to very good settings. The crouching letterbox effect is a nice touch. The game is definitely nicer with these mods. The only thing I don't like are the character faces being Soo different. The old faces are soo iconic and work best for their personalities. That's the only thing I wouldn't change about the game 🫤
The recoil looks like a bitch. How many ctd’s have you been getting? I’ve been trying to mod on top of viva new Vegas and this mod list looks appealing, but it seems a bit unstable
the ctds went down after limiting my fps with the special k mod i posted here. but the recoil does suck at the start. i'm assuming it's because of the weak weaps you get early on. there might be more mods you can add to make it more of a proper shooter experience without needing as many rpg stats things to get things to shoot straight (similar to STALKER), but it def sucks early on. the mod pack is mostly stable though and everything worked pretty much fine from the get go. haven't been playing too much of it, but it does feel about as nice as it gets for an ancient engine with huge limitations

This looks so fucking crisp, makes me want a gaming PC that much more.

Ehh I mean not too useless since you can get Animal Friends perk at 6 charisma 45 survival
Would be quite helpful with the nightstalkers

said let people play how they want then shit on him for playing how he wants
@@offMortis There perfectly overpowered at Charisma 1, same as literally every other companion in NV

Looks like a great modpack, does it add any new areas to the game or just make everything a bit better?
