Still works! I waited till level 4, so I had a ranger colossus slayer with twin +1 handxbows. A 50% chance to hit with 2 +2 attacks did not take long at all!
Good. Knock him out there. I think he will spawn the first one of those locations you visit (after speaking to Nettie). Otherwise, i think he’ll spawn right after leaving the main map region.
From what I can tell Raph only spawns in if you have asked after a cure from any of the other npcs that can offer help, (this will probably need checking) But for me I’m doing a murder hobo run for to see how the game fairs 😗, I only had him spawn after I went to the guy I the under dark (no name as to not spoil it too much I guess 😂)
@@callmeanti6985 doesn’t seem to be, he disappears when you hit him with the arrow but if walk over to where he was he pops back up and I was able to do it fine from there,

You repeat yourself so much this could have been a 50sec video lol But anyways to those reading, To the NW of where you group with Astarion, there is a platue you need to jump up on a rocky ledge to access. Once you are near the top you will take a ladder and Raphael will start the cutscene. Keep your split team members at the bottom of the ladder to not get sucked into the dialogue. If you are on Tactical difficulty he will have 865HP, Balanced will have 666HP, while Explorer will be 466HP. You can easily drain him in 5 mins if you are running a Swords Bard Gunslinger Or Astarion's Machinegun build with dual +1 Hand Crossbows bought from the Blacksmith in Emerald Grove. Long rest without using food to reset vendor inventory. EDIT: Seems there are other locations Raphael can spawn after other interactions with NPC's in the game. The location I stated seems to be where he will spawn quickest due to not having to progress as far into the Main Story quests.
You are a lifesaver! 😂 This video didn’t show the correct location for Raphael, and the comments posted claiming it was harpers stash were wrong. Harpers Stash is technically in the underdark, wasted a good hour checking the locations stated in the video and comments. He popped up immediately where you explained!🎉
He spawned by the broken bridge for me and I only had two characters (Two custom characters), and I believe he spawns in random 6 locations in total. Best part about the bridge is I kept pushing him off the broken bridge, easiest 125 to 177 dmg and took me about 40 seconds to kill him, pushed him about 5 times (Tactician difficultly) Getting him to reset so I could farm him for 1400xp was not possible but I'll try again.

@@sickadelicgaming If you lethal strike an NPC and they're (Temporarily knocked out) then you can long rest- save and reload then attack them again, I was originally farming the masked npcs inside the hag's cave. This doesn't work with enemy NPCs that are hostile from the beginning like Minotaurs or Spiders because they're not interactable. These you can lethal knockout then save and reload, then kill them for double XP. Once for lethal, and second time after reloading and killing them.
So I just did this, easiest place to get him to spawn without angering the grove is plateau with spiders. I knocked him out but the only one who seems interested in the encounter is Wyll. I wonder how this affects the storyline since you don’t get the Raphael quest line. Hopefully he pops back up later. I guess we’ll see.
When you go into Mountain Pass or shadow cursed lands he’ll talk to you. You just are postponing his stupid talk for the XP. It does not affect his story line.
@@emmasulkowicz4291 just toggle non lethal ON and hit him and make sure he takes damage and it will still knock him out even if his HP is 0 I just tried it and it worked he got knocked out and I received the 1400 xp
@@LinusWilson He's not there, I mean he literally disappears when I hit him. 🤣 I noticed the same thing happens with the hag too, I did it with her before the patch but now when you non lethal her the quest acts like she's dead.

he spawned on the platue the one with the spider in the cave I think its called the harper stash.
He also spawns for me at camp after going thru the mountain pass without meeting him. Reload and take his XP.

He annoys you in many places. Ignore him. It ends when you enter the shadow cursed lands.

It is under passives nonlethal attacks at the bottom of the spell attack box.

I think they patched it. I tried this and after hitting him, he instantly disappears.

You forgot to toggle on non-lethal attacks. He should be at 1hp.

I think this has been patched, he disappears into a puff of smoke now when you try and attack him.
No that is him glitching out. Turn on nonlethal and take him down to 1.
